Best customer service I ever had on Starbucks. I always order a Vinte Latte Machiatto with a single shot of espresso and a pump of vanilla siroup. The girl at the register order a smaller size instead so I could have a fair reduction. Common sense! I am glad to know there are people in this world that does not seek for taking advantage. From my Starbucks app I’ve decided to tip her with the difference.

Tried to order a smoothie. Worker looks hesitant and glances over to the ‘manager’ lady that is chit-chatting with the crew by the side wall. Conversation goes as such: «I think we are out of smoothies.(Manager) are we out?» «Well the ingredients came in this morning but they’re on a pallet at the bottom and have to get dug out.»(Note that it’s 12:40 in the afternoon at this point) «Oh okay» So I confirm that no smoothies are available and leave. Is it just me, or does anyone else think that if you are COMPLETELYOUT of a product line, and the replacement came in on shipment that morning, one of your HIGHEST priorities would be to dig it out so that you can offer that product to customers that want it. Am I taking crazy pills or what? I wouldn’t have been very upset about the whole thing if it wasn’t for the chit-chatting manager just lazing about that had no problem jabbering with the rest of the workers instead of getting those products off the pallet that came in that morning! What was her thought process at that time when she told me that the product was technically there but there had to be some effort made to get to it, while at the same time just relaxing and doing basically nothing on the fence area. Did she have any self-realization at that point? It’s mind-boggling. This Starbucks sucks.

So anyone that knows me can tell you that I am a Starbucks lover. BUT after my experience today at this Starbucks, I don’t know where I stand. The horrible service outweighed the coffee. I stopped by after a very long day at work and needed a second cup of coffee to make it through the rest of my day. I work in the Hospitality Industry so I am all about customer service. I walk in and stand in the line waiting to be helped. Body language and the look on your face can definitely make a difference. I was helped by Michelle today and she was awful. No small talk, no greet. NOTHING. It was as if I was talking to a robot. She rolled her eyes at me when I ordered my drink, C’mon we all have our semi complicated drinks. you should be accustomed to it by now. While I was counting my money to give to her she was just staring at me… awkward. I attempted to make small talk with her, again NOTHING. My entire experience was very uncomfortable. I waited 10 minutes for my drink. When it was ready she just left it at the bar. Long story short, I will NEVER be coming here again. Michelle needs to be retrained ASAP and needs to learn how to talk to customers. She was beyond rude, unprofessional, and unpleasant to deal with.

Found out today this is one of those fake Starbucks… I tried to redeem my free drink only to be told by the cashier that they aren’t a real Starbucks.

Revisited this Starbucks today and the service was excellent. The baristas here are super nice and friendly and I got my coffee within a few seconds of ordering. Fantastic improvement!

Yes, their service isn’t always friendly, and sometimes they get my kids’ order wrong… but they always get my order right(venti iced decaf solo americano light ice with room… ya, it’s one of those, shutup; you’re reading this, you have one too). Also, it’s the closest Starbucks to my house AND I always hit them up when I grocery shop with the kids in the morning so in that sense, I come for the convenience. I overlook their short comings for the convenience getting my regular drink.

everytime I order my white chocolate mocha from this safeway starbucks it has never tasted the same as any other starbucks I’ve been to. I ask for extra hot today bcuz they never make it hot enough, but ONCEAGAIN it was less then luke warm and tasted nasty ! I take a sip of it and it taste like straight syrup and watery milk. I literally drink starbucks every morning and never have a problem unless i buy from this safeway. I will never come back to that safeway starbucks again. And the take forever to make a drink you wont even like.

Never have enough people. Usually only one person taking the orders and making the drinks. Always takes forever just to get a cup of coffee.

Apparently you can’t get a short chai here. There’s shorts and chais but they cannot be combined… Unfortunate. :update: this must be a Safeway thing, because the same issue just occurred at another Safeway Starbucks in Portland. I’ll stick to the stand alone shops from now on, thanks!

Magic happens here. I’ll have you all know– I don’t drink coffee. That, and I barely drink tea. Strictly Water! But on these days, I thank God I ended up here… I went on a «Non-Date» here with my best friend from high school. I hadn’t seen him in years… So I was looking forward to rekindling our friendship. We had made plans to watch a movie and when it ended, we decided to chat it out at Starbucks. With great conversation and good company, there is no sense of time… We closed the place out… And from that moment on, we were inseparable. The best part of the magic is, not only is this the place where we met on our«non-date», But it is the exact place he proposed :) And I have been happily married since… See, I told you… it’s magic.

One of the guys that works here, hates my guts. I don’t understand it, I’m completely loveable. I come here a lot. Half of the people who work here are very friendly, the other half… not so much. Lines are pretty long in the morning. They did serve the Caramel Brulee lattee for 3 months past the Holidays. So Yay for that. Same old Starbucks coffee.

This place is just meh. Service is always a crap shoot. Sometimes you get the drink you want and sometimes you don’t. Here are just a sample of problems they’ve had: coffee has run out(W.T.F.?!), the heater is broken so only iced drinks can be made, card readers malfunctioning(read: cash only), the«baristas» spend more time chatting with each other than on customer service, etc. I think the only highlight of this location is its convenience. And more often than not, it’s really not all that convenient. With Bagel Street ’round one corner, and Peet’s Coffee ’round the other, putting up with this ish just isn’t worth it. FAIL.

«Can I get a Soy Grande Hot White Chocolate…» «Sure» “With a pump of rasberry?” «You got it» *charges me for a mocha* «I want the Hot White chocolate though. Not the mocha» «No Problem» *gives me a 2% Grande Hot White Mocha WITHOUTRASBERRY* …I’m(partially) lactose intolerant.

As of now, October 2010, they have a great crew. exceptionally friendly. Plus, they make great drinks. The only thing they need to do is keep their gallon jugs of milk in the refrigerator. Obviously, if there’s a line it will be out, but their milk is out all the time, regardless of whether there’s a line or not. I’ve walked up when it’s empty, and the milk is sitting on the counter, and when I leave it’s still there. People, milk needs to be refrigerated!

This is located inside Safeway. Good service a bit on the slow side. Long long lines Have a ton of Starbucks merchandise for sale as well as coffee and madelines! Their pumpkin loaf was pretty good.

eh… i have to come here because it’s the closest for me and peet’s lines are always too long. if i had a choice, of course i would not come here but seeing as i need a starbucks fix every now and again… i am SOL. the people that work here boggle my mind. most of the time, they are spending more time conversing with each other than they are tending to their customers. they are rarely friendly… only a few have been and it’s really hit or miss… mostly miss. i think they should really consider hiring a new staff or putting their staff thru some customer service training course. they should take a few pointers from other starbucks locations.

This Starbucks location is inside Safeway. I work near here and purchase coffee at this location 1 or 2x per week. They’re fine. Not my favorite but certainly better than the Livermore in store location. A girl named Colleen used to work here and she made the most consistent mochas of any Starbucks. She could also handle the 8 + orders for my office — quickly and accurately. I haven’t seen her there lately. There is often a line in the mornings. One good thing, it’s Safeway run so you can get cash back when paying for your coffee!

Without a doubt the worst coffee I’ve ever had. I have gone back a few times, thinking MAYBE it would be better, but it never is. I don’t need to go back and waste my money again. The drip coffee reached a new low today, it was bitter and horrible. There is always a line in the mornings, which I just don’t get. People, there’s a Peet’s just half a parking lot away. Go there! They are nice and their coffee doesn’t taste like stewed bark. Go!
