Java Detour

The girls there actually pretty nice, don’t seems like true what other reviewers say about them. But ok coffee, very fast, no line in the morning.

I enjoyed going to Java Detour, because the coffee is good and they NEVER have a line. However, the majority of people who work there are very rude. There are 2 young girls, who are very sweet. They only are typically there in the afternoons. In the mornings the 2 women I consistently see are very inconsistent with their manners. I have seen them scowling in there; I don’t want to go to a bussiness where the people working look miserable, but thats the least of it. The greetings i have gotten there when i pull up are so ridiculous. The only word I have to describe it is curt. The woman who helped me last walked up to the window amd barked, «what can i get for you?» No smile, no sense of warmth. I have considered writing this review several times but tell myself, «oh it was probably just a one off, we all have bad days». anways, point being their attitude makes me feel unwanted so I won’t be returning. As someone who works in the service industry and is passionate about making others feel valued I will be passing on this experience on to many family and friends.

I just stopped by this place hoping to purchase some of their blended drinks, pulled up at 6:50, their Unilocal says they close at 8, and the girl told me she could not make our drinks because they closed in 10 mins and everything was already put away… What kind of service is that, they we’re not even closed! Not returning!

Pleasantly surprised when I saw a Vietnamese coffee on the menu and even more surprised that it was actually pretty good! I love finding a good drive thru coffee bar and I think I found on here!

Thought I found my new coffee shop but after yesterday, I noticed hygiene not a priority there. Gal who helped me waked over from gas station (maybe from using restroom?) rinsed her hands under water quickly (no soap) then drip dried and wiped on shorts then proceeded to make my coffee. Oh boy! You all need sanitary meetings to show how to properly wash hands there before serving food or beverages. Sadly, I won’t return after being there three days in a row! Sorry! HYGIENE!

I’ve never had an issue here with the customer service or the quality of the drinks. Love the drive thru coffee joints because I pretty much always have dogs in my car. It’s conveniently located off the 580 freeway at Santa Rita, right next to the Shell station.

Horrible customer service, after they remodeled and hired the new young girls to prepare the food and drinks, this place became worse. I’ve been there three times now after the remodel and all three times the food was prepared in the worst way possible and they insisted that I was wrong with my order. Seriously?!? I miss the old employees who cared, smiled and asked how I would like the food and drink made! Sorry but I cannot go here for the fourth time.
