Jamba Juice

The workers here are RUDE. They have no idea what customer service is. You ask them one simple question and they throw their hands up in the air and roll their eyes.

Today Friday August 28^th-​my cousin goes in to buy her regular protein berry drink, it was her turn to order and the rep. Her name is Tallia-​gave my cousin the dirtiest look upon her order. Even my cousin thanked her for making her drink delicious and She Tallia-didn’t reciprocate her thanks! :(boo on you chica! I guess that’s why you work for min. Wage. can’t Get better with that joke of a customer service you provide! No manners! Jamba Juice or is it Safeway managers need to do formal coaching on these employees-​you never know. one day the big boss will be Undercover and pretend to be a customer! I want front row seats for that day :)

Horrible service… waiting in line for over 5min and i’m the only person in line. There are 3 ppl working and they don’t say anything like «we will be right with you» or anything like that. I have to ask if they are open when they finally say they will be right with me.
Horrible service from a «service» oriented business.

I am rating this a one star because as we all know we can not give zero stars. This is based on my one and only experience at the Jamba Juice inside of Safeway and it is purely based on the employee that was working this day. It was on Friday August 22^nd at 1:00pm.
I arrived behind two little girls at the Jamba inside Safeway. Shortly after a man in his military outfit arrived and I let him go in front of me. Another gentleman arrived behind me a few seconds after. As we stood there in line, the employee had her back to us while she cleaned blenders. And when I say clean, I mean moved at a snails pace of cleaning these blenders. She finally turned around and saw us and no lie rolled her eyes. She then helped the two little girls. Then turns around and continues to wash the blenders again! At first I thought, ok, she has to clean those blenders to make the girls drinks. But there are like 20 blenders sitting on the shelf.
So she cleans those blenders for what FELT like 10 minutes, but was probably 3 minutes. So then I say «Are you making drinks today or just cleaning?» She replied «I have to wash the blenders to make drinks.» The man behind me then said «You have plenty of them on the shelf, can’t you use those?» And she said «Y’all will just have to wait.» So clearly with that attitude, no one wanted to stay so the two men and myself left.
I am pretty sure she just didn’t want to work or make the drinks so she made sure the three of us in line were made aware of that. I also think it was pretty bad service to only have one employee there on a Friday during lunch time. She could of used one extra person possibly. But either way, I will never come back to this Jamba purely because I do not want to run into that rude employee.

I like smoothies. I like that with Jamba Juice, I can get the same thing at any location. I’ve been saying that a lot lately. Time to go somewhere off the beaten path. But for kids… they want what they want and I don’t want to convince. SO, Jamba is good for that.
They have healthy options, substitutions, and dessert-​y type options too.
I recently had the lemon ginger shot — yum and good for digestion.
Today tried the Fit menu: strawberry, rasperry, banana. Tasted good, no odd aftertaste from the additives. My son had the Orange Dream Machine, which he is addicted to — remember Orange Julius’?! however, this is clearly a dessert in my book.
All in all, I’m a fan.

Who knew I would enjoy a smoothie made with a leafy, green vegetable and a novelty gag gift? I mourn the demise of the free boost but my disappointment was mitigated by the yummy new kale-​ribbean breeze smoothie. Besides the kale, the ingredients included mango, passion fruit-​mango juice, chia seeds and nonfat Greek yogurt.
It was scorching hot today so I decided to drink, instead of eat my lunch. I felt daring and bought one of Jamba Juice’s new menu offerings. The kale-​centric smoothie did look and taste very green but it was tempered by the sweetness of the fruit and the tanginess of the yogurt.
Not only did I cool off, I felt very virtuous sipping a cup’s worth of veggies. Forget the V-​8. If eating your veggies always tasted this good, I’d be drinking them everyday.
I will never look at my Chia Scooby Doo head in quite the same way again. Come on down and get your ch-​ch-​ch-​chia on!

Employees rude and racist, very very slow service. I m not happy with this location at all!

Wow… I have never been to a jamba juice that had such terrible service. It took 15 minutes just to get to the counter, after giving our order I was informed that they RAN out of apple juice. REALLY!!! This jamba juice is located inside a grocery store. So… I changed my order, now it takes another 15 – 20 just to receive my drink. Sheila was VERY rude and unprofessional and her shy, quiet co-​worker was not of any help either. My friend who was with me ordered her drink right after me and they left her drink unmade in the blender while Sheila washed some dishes. I was ¾ the way done with mine before they even gave hers to her. Finally, they offered a girl 3 people behind us her drinks before offering my friend hers, the young lady asked that the staff give us our drink as we had been waiting so long. Furthermore, they seem to be very understaffed, not friendly and I will NEVER return to this location!!!

I just went there a few days ago and it was the worst experience I have ever encountered. It took 44 minutes for Rich (I think that is his name) to serve six people, each of them only ordering one or two smoothies. Every single time he is working I have this problem. It honestly doesn’t take just under 45 minutes to make about ten smoothies. Especially when he wasn’t even working alone. He is very polite and I appreciate that but he needs to figure out how to manage his time better because I am getting really sick of the wait. This is the fourth time I have had this problem with him, but I haven’t had the problem with any of the other workers. If you see a man with a name tag that says Rich you should leave the line immediately in my opinion.

! go here allll the time, probably 3 or 4 times a week! i must say i really love it. Rich is always so friendly (even on a bad day). I definitely recommend going to this one!

Came here after a fun, yet HOT, day at the fair. It is located in possibly the biggest Safeway I have ever seen (and I thought the Safeway near my apartment in Monterey was big). I’m glad they finally have an option to make it «light» on their classic smoothies, though it does cost a little extra. It makes their original size smoothie, which normally has enough calories to be lunch, more of a snack. I had a Light Peach Pleasure and it was very good and so worth it on the hot day!

Five starts for this location as I’ve ALWAYS received outstanding customer service here. The employees always recognize when they’re a bit slow and always tell everyone «Thanks for being patient, I know you’ve been wait for a while». You can tell they are trying their best to speed things along but the line just keeps growing.
Today, there was maybe 2 people ahead of me and only one worker. She was very polite and genuinely sorry that we all had to wait. To compensate us, if we ordered a small she would upgrade us to a medium for free. I would dont expect anything like that but its nice when a business recognizes that they could be more efficient and tell us they appreciate our business and patience.

I come here when I’m grocery shopping and they always make my smoothie ‘orange dream machine with strawberries’ perfectly! The employees are always super nice and helpful.

Since this is inside Safeway and Safeway has a HUGE parking lot, it makes location perfect for getting a smoothie on your way home from grocery shopping. They have a thing where if you buy 7 or 8 drinks, you get 1 free. No carrying those paper cards we all lose and can do without. You just have to have your safeway card or know your phone number (if you have a card) and it keeps the tally for you! I haven’t found another location in the Dublin area that does this. Talk about an incentive to come here and if you fill up gas at the safeway gas station here, your smoothie purchase counts towards the $ 100 threshold to get 10 cents off per gallon of gas.
Service though is a little slow because the station is so small and they run a skeleton crew. The friendliness of the workers vary depending on who’s working and what kind of day they have had. The guy Pedro that works here is awesome though. He’s always friendly and blends the drinks well on every visit. Kudos for him.

This Jamba Juice is located within the Safeway store right near the front entrance. I came in here a bit rushed because of my nail appointment next door and a tad famished, so I was hoping I could be in and out, however the service here is a tad slow since there are only 2 people running the show.
However, the employees were nice here so that’s a perk, just don’t come in here in a rush because you’ll definitely be annoyed, other that I left content with my drink in hand.

I couldn’t find this location that I go to all the time so I had to create this post. The reason probably why this wasn’t already posted is that this Jamba Juice is located inside this Safeway (between Amador Plaza Rd & I-​680). I find this location convenient and usually without a line.
I just learned from this spot today that JJ will be doing away/​redoing its menu next week!!! All the functional flavors on the left column of the menu (Functional flavors) will be gone (I’ve been told) including my all time post work-​out favorite: Protein Berry Workout as well as Green Tea! They will be introducing a lot new flavors and stuff with granola?!? Why «fix» something so successful and not broke?!?
I’m knocking off one star because of their changes of getting rid of some of my favorite flavors!
Otherwise, JAMBA JUICE ROCKS!!!
