Scott and the team at Amarant spent five months at my house doing a major remodel. Every room in my home was touched in some way from crown molding to completely gutting my kitchen and master bath. My husband and i couldn’t be happier. The design team listened to what we wanted and gave us more than we asked for. The members of the construction team were considerate, professional, and genuinely concerned about giving us exactly what we wanted, on time, and with quality. I interviewed three different builders before i selected Amarant, and it was the best choice i could have made. We regret nothing.

Similar to Jen G. below, I made a call to set up a consult with Amarant on July 25, 2014. I spoke with reception and detailed my project (master bath remodel in Pleasanton). The woman I spoke with indicated that the projects are parted out to the appropriate designer (some do kitchens, some do bathrooms) and that the bathroom designer would return the call. Still waiting. Obviously we wouldn’t be willing to do business with them anymore.

Scott Amarant and his team are experts in their respective fields. If anyone has not had the pleasure of working with Scott or seen his showroom they are truly missing out on quality and service second to none.

For the first impression that I have so far, I would not recommend this company. I called and left a clear voice message with my contact information and emailed the address that is listed on their website over 48 hours ago. No response. Called again and no answer.

Scott Amarant and his team are exemplary. From the initial interview and scope of proposed kitchen extension/​remodel and bedroom/​bathroom remodel, everyone through each part of the project was a pleasure to work with. Our only regret is not having found these guys earlier and had them do all our prior projects.
Scott and his team were committed to the project. Their bid was competitive and affordable, and the project was within budget and on time. Scott didn’t try to up-​sell unnecessary accessories, and in fact talked me out of a top-​of-​the-​line sink in favor of a much more affordable alternative. Don’t get me wrong, services aren’t cheap, but Scott is exceptionally fair, and the ultimate value comes with a great delivery of product and peace of mind. My continued thanks to Martha, whom created wonderful design samples and was so easy to work with to convey the vision of the new kitchen.
I highly recommend Amarant and his team for any remodel or new construction project, big or small.

Scott and his team are the best!!! I work with many General Contractors and there are very few that touch what Amarant Design can do. As a painting contractor we come in at the end of the job, and hear all of the complaints that the client has about the general contractor. Scheduling subs, ordering materials, and balancing the desires of the customer are not easy, and many times there is a disconnect. Amarant is the only Design and Construction firm that I have never heard a single complaint from their customers. I don’t think anyone is perfect, but these guys are as close as you can get. Its not easy being in construction, lots of guys will promise you the world to get the contract for that initial payment, leaving you high and dry when it comes to delivering. Not with Amarant, they are the real deal!

I am a local Real Estate agent and Scott’s company was recommended to me through a fellow agent. I had a client that needed to sell his home in the Alamo hills but had extensive dry rot all over the home. Scott and his team worked many hours and got the job done. Not only did they get the job done, but the quality of workmanship was amazing. They took care of all the materials, permits, and other issues that needed to be addressed. I am going to use him for my kitchen remodel. I would recommend his team any time.

After moving into our home it became apparent that the kitchen remodel would be a big project. Not knowing where to begin we asked Tony from Direct Sales Floors in Danville if he knew anyone. His first and only suggestion was Scott Amarant. Seeing as how Tony and his team did amazing work installing our hardwood floors and carpet we called Scott right away.
Scott and Martha were an absolute pleasure to work with. We came up with a design plan and budget that fit our needs and the results blew us away. The entire team — Adam, Geno, Jose, Benny, and of course Scott and Martha, were professional, warm, and honest. Any small issues that came up were handled immediately and all delays were caused by my wife and I. Did I mention how patient they were? It took over a month and several trips to see Russ at Western Tile Design Center (recommended by Martha) before we could agree on a backsplash. Martha specifically was always patient, always understanding, and always available. She brought up little details that we never even considered and her suggestions made the kitchen more… complete (if that makes sense). I highly recommend them to anyone looking for an amazing kitchen. Thanks guys.

Scott Amarant and his team of professionals are top notch in their trade. They do what they say on time and on budget — no games, no cost add ons unless the scope changes. I recently saw a large residential job Scott completed in Walnut Creek and the client was ecstatic with the end result and could not stop raving about Amarant Design and Build. In fact, the client walked me through his entire house in proud fashion. I recommended Scott to my father a couple weeks ago. My father is getting his house ready to sell and needed an outside wood beam repaired. A very small job and small dollars but Scott took care of it. My father and I are much appreciative.

Amarante Construction is a very honest company to work with, thay really listen and walk through the construction process, always on time and they do great work.

We were installing a vinyl floor in one of Danville apartment accounts and when we removed the underlament we found a large amount of dryrot, so I called Amarant, they came out the same day I called them, gave the qoute on-​site, and started and completed the work that same weekend. I value my clients so when I refer to someone outside my company like Amarant I really have to trust them. Amarant came and delivered!!!

I have referred several of my patients to Scott Amarant for kitchen remodels and they have been more than completely satisfied! For obvious reasons, when you refer a business to another person you are putting your reputation on the line also. I have complete confidence in Scott and his team of professionals. My patients actually liked him more after the remodel! How many contractors have that happen. He was on time and on budget just as he promised.
On a personal note, I have know Scott Amarant for several years and can attest that he a man of his word and is full of integrity. I have no problem referring him to anyone because his work and work ethic is way above par.

Scott, Martha and Benny remodeled 2 ½ bathrooms. They provided very good advice and kept us from making mistakes, offered great ideas, were on time, kept our budget in mind, and were patient and flexible. They also helped us solve strange construction problems. We were very happy with their work. I highly recommend them.
