I received a gorgeous small bouquet from here recently as a gift from my sister. The flowers were bright and cheery, well arranged and given with a note from my sister. My only complaint is one that I actually have for most flower/gift delivery places, and that is the note. Read it, and if it doesn’t make sense, clearly you got the message wrong. Anyway, the flowers lasted for at least a week before wilting and smelled amazing! Great local shop that has been a great gift source in town for many years. Always good to shop local!

I received flowers for Mother’s day and, while they were pretty, you can get the same bouquet(or better) at a local grocery store for a fifth of the price. A majority of the flowers were quite inexpensive and looked like they had been plucked from the side of the road. The only redeeming quality was the few miniature roses that were included. They were«arranged»(dumped) in a cheap glass vase with a limp sheer ribbon around the neck of the vase, which looked like an afterthought. For as much as the bouquet cost, at the very least the vase and the arrangement could have been a little more impressive. And, finally, the flowers only really looked fresh for about 3 – 4 days. Then they completed wilted and looked quite forlorn. In this case, truly it was the thought that counted, not the flowers. It certainly was a very disappointing bouquet. All in all I would not recommend Dan Tay’s for your floral needs. They are greatly overpriced and unimpressive. Save your money and avoid disappointment for yourself and your recipient.

Some love lost for Dan Tay’s today. I got off early and wanted to suprise Jenny with some flowers. My great idea and intentions fell by the side of the road when I pulled in the parking lot. CLOSED. With posted hours of operation on Saturday 8 — 5 and its 2:50PM. No sign posted that they had closed early and no apology posted. Business practices such as this won’t cut it when you have an HEB just months away from opening. Maybe they could care less if they fall by the wayside fearing doom and gloom in their imminent future. I would think that they would welcome and try and retain as many patrons as they could… No flowers for Jenny on this Saturday; probably not much of a future for Dan Tay’s.
