Brenda Abbott Floral Design

I used Brenda as both my day of coordinator and for my flowers/​décor. I immediately knew she was the one I wanted to work with when she actually took notes and asked so many questions about what I was looking to accomplish for my wedding. I wanted a romantic atmosphere and that is exactly what I received. My flowers and the color pallette was just gorgeous and absolutely on point. Additionally, she was able to provide the décor I was looking for and when she did not have certain things in her armamentarium she researched what I was looking for and made it happen. She isn’t afraid to let you take the wheel on ideas that you have, however I definitely needed her guidance and she was able to steer me in the right direction of my vision. Where Brenda really exceeded all expectations was her role as my day of coordinator. Everything that could go wrong with a wedding did the day of… Thankfully, I had hired her for this service because if I hadn’t it would have absolutely ruined my wedding… She handled ALL the catastrophes that happened, including moving the ceremony venue to an indoor location because of weather (which I was heartbroken about but she made everything so beautiful for the ceremony), she was about to keep a couple of VERY misbehaved children at bay and dealt with the aftermath of a ruined wedding/​grooms cake (unfortunately the bakery delivery person got in a car wreck upon delivering our cakes– he was ok, thankfully but the cakes were gone…). Looking back I think if I had to deal with this myself I would have had a meltdown and it would have put a damper on the wedding for me… but Brenda never faltered and that attitude kept me calm and at peace. I am so grateful that I came across her and I would wholeheartedly recommend her– she and her assistants were just splendid!

My husband and I hired Brenda to provide all the flowers and linens for our wedding on September 6 in Round Top, TX. Despite me not having a definite idea of what I wanted (I just sent a few pictures of things I liked), Brenda did an amazing job of designing the most beautiful floral arrangements! The style was perfect, and I got nothing but endless compliments on the flowers throughout the night. Thank you, Brenda!

Brenda is very nice and reasonably priced, and as the other reviewer said, I think the only florist in Bastrop. I had her do the florals for my wedding this past weekend, and while an arrangement for the rehearsal dinner and the bouquets were gorgeous, the center arrangements left something to be desired. I had sent several pictures and ideas, and the end products just weren’t quite what I had hoped. Still pretty, and totally fine, but I’d make sure that if you want something a little different than the typical arrangements that you make sure to clarify and maybe see a sample before the big day.

Best and pretty much the only florist in Bastrop. Ordered flowers from here twice and I’ve found them to be both reasonably priced and friendly. Worth a shot. They’ve recently moved down north main by the railroad tracks.

My fiancé is a flower snob and only accepts flowers from Brenda Abbott. Thanks for making it so easy to order, and for getting me out of trouble all those times!
