US Nails & Spa

This was absolutely the worst experience I have ever had at a nail salon! This is also my very first bad review on Unilocal!
I typically go to another place in South Jordan but my friend has a reservation here that day and I decided to join her.
I just wanted a simple shellac manicure and that is what I got, but not without a few complications. First off the lady who was working on me was just rude and short tempered. When she started fixing my cuticles I was in so much pain!!! She kept pushing them farther back and basically stabbing me in my cuticles even after I audibly gasped in pain. She just would not stop messing with them even after I told her to stop! She kept grabbing my hands anytime I would try to reach into my purse to do something because they «hadn’t dried.» The problem was I would have my nails under the light for 2 series of 3 minutes and based on my past experiences I know them to be dry!
Furthermore, and what made me the most angry, was that the entire thing took almost an hour and a half! Typically it takes the salon at most 45 minutes to do my nails! I was really pressed for time and was not expecting it to take that long at all! And I started to tell her I needed to leave about a half hour before I needed to, thinking that would speed her along, but it didn’t! She was so rude and not mindful of my time at all! In the end I basically had to run out of the store! She would not stop messing with my cuticles, even at the very end!
Overall the manicure itself is ok, but the pain and service that I received were not worth it. I definitely do not recommend this place and I will not be back!

I get my nails (gels) done every two weeks at another place so I like to think I can speak from experience here. First off. I asked for a millimeter off my current nail length, he chopped them so short, they look as though I am a nail biter; I can’t even get a good scratch. Secondly, he BUTCHERED my nails. I mean, butchered. I left with my nails still bleeding from when he cut me with the cuticle clippers. I was in pain the WHOLE time and he kept going hard at the nails even after he had made them bleed. Thirdly, I asked him for rounded square. He didn’t do them like that and when he went to fix them, he filed off what was left of my barely there nail. The massage? Let’s see how many times you can hit my shoulder with a fist, very unenjoyable. I wish it were winter so I could cover these atrocities people call nails. The worst place I have ever gone to have my nails done. I will definitely not be going back.

The staff is nice. However the manicure I received had very square corners which made it easy for the nails to break, the filing of the nails was not done properly and the nails were left rough on the tip, and they don’t have lining for the pedicure tubs which means you could easily get fungal infections. They are however open longer hours on Sunday.

Went in today to get a fill and have my nails fixed since the last place I went did a terrible job. I had Kevin do my nails and he did an amazing job fixed the terrible nails I had into exactly what I wanted. Very kind and great service. I will be going back there for sure. Thank you Kevin.

Great reviews so I tried US Nails in Draper for the first time today. Made an appointment but surprisingly had to sit and wait ten minutes. They then put me in the chair to soak my feet and they apologized that they were busy. I soaked for a HALF HOUR with no one else speaking to me or even looking at me.
That’s something that I don’t understand about businesses that take reservations. They take reservations in order to schedule their work and staff. If you receive walk-​ins, you are obligated to tell them that you are booked out and that they can choose to wait to see IF you can fit them in. You do NOT serve them before the schedule appointments!
The lady that put me in the water went over and STARTED a pedicure. She then left that client to work on a third client! I realized that she would need to finish that third client, then finish the pedicure BEFORE she would be able to get to me! And I noticed two walk-​Ins come in during that time and they told them that there was no problem taking them!
Come on! At least be honest and say that you are overbooked!
I got out of the water and left — NEVER TO RETURN!

Loved this place! All the staff was really friendly. It was very relaxing. Loved the shoulder massage along with the manicure! I got a pedicure and manicure with shellac on my nails and it was $ 50. Worth every penny. I will be back.

Fantastic. This place is my one and ONLY for nails! They do an amazing shellac manicure, and always have open appointments. The person who always does my nails not only massages my hands and arms, but me shoulders, too! They’re prices aren’t horrible either! Love this place, SO much!

I went to US Nails for the first time today. I had my eye brows waxed, and when the lady was done, she showed me my eye brows, and they looked good. When I got in the sun however, I noticed a few fine hairs that had been missed. I went back in, and told the lady. She started yelling at me, saying she had cleaned my eye brows. Eventually, I just walked out. I had to come home and finish the job after I had paid for it.

My friend Sarah and I stopped by US Nails at 12:30 on a Sunday afternoon hoping to get mani/​pedis. They were busy at that time, which was understandable, and the gentleman had flipped though the appointment book and told us to come back at 3:30. When we returned, the woman who came to the front told us they were too busy to help us, and actually said «We had told you girls to come back in ten minutes,» when that wasn’t the case at all. We won’t be back.

Ask for Kim. She’s awesome!!! The manicure was amazing! Got a shoulder massage while my nails were drying.
