We stopped at this cute little taqueria in Doylestown for a light lunch. Menu pretty simple but to the point: tacos! My husband and I each ordered two tacos. They were much bigger than I expected. One would’ve suited me. I tried the chicken taco and the chorizo taco. Chicken was by far my favorite. The chorizo taco was a bit too spiced for me – not hot spicy, but chili seasoning spicy. It was also nearly all meat, with sauce and spices.(No vegetables thrown in). Next time I’m here I’m going for the vegetable taco. The young man working behind the counter was super friendly and efficient.

The statement the devil is in the details is very true. I had a day at home and ordered from Sabrosa online. The online ordering experience was one of the easiest I have ever had and highly recommend it. However, this food does not stand up well to waiting to be picked up. The corn tortillas are wrapped in foil in order to keep it warm and the effect is to continue to cook the tortilla to the point that it is more like an enchilada than a corn tortilla. Furthermore the store continues to not double wrap their corn tortillas. There is a reason why this is done in Latin American countries. And given that most of the business is take out, I really wish the owner would consider it. I had three different tortillas. Their Pork tortilla which included pineapple and a little heat. Not truly the sublime experience that Al Pastor tacos are but a nice riff on the flavors. The beef I got with hot sauce cilantro and lime onions. It was ok and probably the best of the three. The chorizo was weird to me. It did not have the fire I expect with chorizo, and it really was missing something. I will say the stellar part off the meal was the sopapilla brownies. They are to die for! The owners have a great concept, but they really need to focus on the little things, and make small changes that really could improve the experience.

Awesome tacos and taco pints(rice & beans). My favorite is the chicken signature taco and the Sopapilla cheesecake is decadent. Reasonably priced and friendly staff. D-town is lucky to have this little taco shop.

Got the beef carnita and signature chicken. Beef carnita was really dry to the point it was hard to swallow. Told them I couldn’t eat tomatoes and was told nothing I ordered had tomatoes. Turns out their signature chicken taco has tomato sauce which I realized after 2 bites. They offered to make something else, but wanted to leave because stomach was already hurting. Another 10 minutes for a refund. 2 stars instead of 1 because my tomato eating partner said his taco was alright.

Really tasty tacos!!! Stopped in for a quick«snack» before a movie at the County and was not disappointed. I got the chicken taco and my friend got the carnitas. Both were delicious and served fast. We also ordered a side of guacamole, which was also delicious, but it was only a small cup and didn’t come with chips. I honestly hoped that for the price of the guacamole, you would at least get a few chips. If it’s your first visit, they also give you a slice of their homemade Mexican cheesecake for free, and that was quite delicious as well! It’s a nice little spot(very VERY limited indoor seating) for some authentic tacos in Doylestown.

Very authentic for an east coast establishment. All of the tacos are solid. If you’re looking for dessert — go for the chipotle brownie. Check it out next time you’re downtown.

This place is a huge disappointment. Everything comes out of a frozen Sysco bag. The reason I know this is because they cut the bags open in front of diners and dump into pots to simmer. The tacos are not authentic at all and very poorly executed. The tortillas are extremely soggy, the meat literally resembles sawdust, and the cheese is a frozen Kraft blend. Where is all the delicious authentic food in doylestown? I was craving authentic Al pastor and some delicious queso fresco laced tacos but I guess that’s too much to ask.

I’ve been here twice. The tacos are very tasty. I wish they were double wrapped. The fresh soft taco is very fresh. The guacamole is a little over priced — due to the quantity added there should be a discount for multiple tacos as it can get very pricing quickly if you add guacamole to a few. Overall good is excellent and I will be back.

Excellent breakfast tacos and homemade hot sauce. Had the bacon egg and cheese and the chorizo eggs and cheese both were gobbled up in seconds. Excellent customer service too! Nice people!

Loved this place! First impression was made by the two employees who greeted us very nicely even though it was getting close to closing time. The store is kind of small with limited indoor seating, but we took advantage of the BYOB and took our food out back to their courtyard which was great on a warm summer evening. The tacos were awesome. We had the chorizo which combined chorizorefried beans, bacon, onion and a great hot sauce to add just the right amount of heat. the chicken taco and roasted vegetable taco were also excellent. We finished things off with an unbelievable sopapilla cheesecake and a great chipotle brownie… all at a great price!!! I definitely would recommend going the BYOB route an sit out back or take out would be good too.

My friends and I randomly stopped into Sabrosa Taqueria on a recent girls trip to PA. I tried 2 signature soft tacos and was absolutely blown away! I would love to attempt to recreate the same at home, but I know I will fail(haha), so I need to go back to PA just to eat the same things again! I am totally dreaming about them and craving them. Yes they were THATGOOD! The braised beef soft taco: the meat was soft, juicy, lean and flavorful and literally fell apart in my mouth. Drool. The lime marinated cilantro onions with it were the perfect compliment, and the onions were shockingly mild and did not linger at all in my mouth as raw onions can do. And the best part: the homemade corn soft taco! Best corn soft taco I’ve ever had! The flavor and texture were superb. I could eat those for days. The roasted veggie soft taco: Oh my goodness; the roasted sweet potato, onions, mushrooms, and other goodies plus guacamole tasted like candy veggies! I don’t mean sweet, I mean that they were so delicious, I wanted to eat a bag of those veggies! WONDERFUL! Anyone would love a veggie taco if it’s made this well. Overall: a must-try! It’s inexpensive, the staff was very nice and helpful(I had a lot of questions!), and the food is worth waiting just a few minutes for them to fresh prepare your order.

This place is a true gem. You could walk by it 100 times and not know it’s there but once you try it you will definitely not forget how to find it again. This is the only place outside of Philadelphia that I know of in the region where you can get fresh, homemade, authentic tacos. Not the Americanized crap you get at most so-called Mexican restaurants. For under 10 bucks you can walk out with three delicious tacos, a perfect lunch or dinner before catching a film at the theater down the street. Super friendly folks working there. And every type of taco I tried was unique and delicious. Also tried the most outrageously tasty brownie made with a touch of chili! This really is a find.

First time at Sabrosa Taqueria(I also think it’s fun to say the name aloud) today. I had been in search for a good taco and actually found this place through Unilocal. It was excellent. Basically a(clean and nice) hole in the wall. They have a little bit of seating — bar style– along the window and wall and some tables around back. So I wouldn’t come with a large group, but heck just take your tacos and sit out on the curb then, its worth it. Only thing I’d say is I wish they offered different types of slaw, cheese, salsas, something maybe to make them stand out. However that being said I love the simplicity of this place. Order a crafted taco or make your own, get 2 or 3, heck 4 and chow down. Maybe if your still hungry get something sweet or just add a side to your tacos. I got chicken and pork signature tacos for a little over $ 3 each. Each equally amazing.

First… if your going to give a place a one star review, at least provide some constructive feedback on why you think they deserve that one star, not just that it was«terrible». Thank you. OK, so now, if someone were to ask me to describe the best kind of taco, I would simply tell them to go to Sabrosa Taqueria! We had met the owner last year at the Doylestown Arts Fest and she was very enthusiastic about the restaurant and what it had to offer. They have definitely fulfilled that prophecy and continue to provide Doylestown with it’s best source of tacos! The staff is very friendly and welcoming, the prices are reasonable and the service is quite quick. Everything tastes fresh and packed with flavor. They offer corn or flour tortillas and each of the expected meat groups and a veggie taco for those who prefer. I’ve had the chicken, beef and chorizo tacos so far and the chicken is my favorite. Very reasonable portions as well. The cheesecake dessert treat is bonkers good! I’ve never had anything like it, the flaky crust on the bottom is unreal. If you save room for dessert, I highly recommend it. The warm hot sauce is really good too, great consistency and goes great on any of their offerings. Bravo job here, they’ve got a regular customer in me!
