Taking away stars because they are constantly raising prices. Today it was $ 14 for myself for a normal burger, fries and drink. Come on, man! I moved here 3 yrs ago and they have increased each year by about .75-.80 per item, where other comparable places have only jumped a little bit. Food is just okay now that they have been in this location a while; quality has dipped a bit. Glad i only come here 4 – 5 times a year because id be broke. Would rAther have a sit down restaurant burger for the price. Anyone else agree with me?

We go here frequently. Burgers are always great but the floor is very dirty — needs to be cleaned properly. The kids who work there are very nice, always good service. It’s just the floor…

I think maybe I have grown tired of Five Guys Burgers & Fries. This kind of experience used to be fun and unusual; a decent alternative to the traditional fast food slider & taters. Not so much now. The shtick is that you have a limited choice between a single or double(regular) burger, hot dog, and flies. You can put almost anything you want on them from the list above the cashier. That’s cool, but when you have to repeat yourself three times to the order taker, and it still comes out wrong, it is a bit frustrating. Then, there is the meal itself. I asked for a regular(2 puck) burger with ketchup, fried onions and jalapenos, and a side of fries to share. What I received was a crushed limp sesame sprinkled bun that could barely hold its load. It managed to do so for the first bite, but the second clenching was too much torque and the burgers were expelled from the bun on a running river of ketchup and slick onions. Looked like red mudslide. Okay. So I finished the meat off with a fork and knife, as the bread had now expired. I was surprised how lame the burger texture and taste were without the bun support. Did I mention the fries were not in the bag? Guess the cashier didn’t hear that either, but by this time I was happy for the small favor of not having to pay more than the $ 27 shelled out for these disappointments of a bun.

GREAT service! GREAT food! Coming from the west coast where In and Out burger had us wrapped around their finger, it’s nice to still enjoy a great burger without having to drive all the way into Philly.

Very good burgers. Friendly service. You get a LOT of fries so one order is enough to share. Burgers ARE messy but it’s the taste that counts. I’ve eaten at a few 5 Guys and the Doylestown location seems to be very similar to the others. If you’ve never eaten at a 5 Guys it’s worth the trip.

We go here for the hot dogs. They are a good brand and delicious. Sometimes, we just want a hot dog, and this place doesn’t fail to satisfy! The customer gets to add various toppings/condiments if desired. The fries are apparently cut in-house fresh. The fries are fried in peanut oil, I think, although I am not 100% sure. They are usually fresh, hot, very tasty and the portion size is HUGE. There are free peanuts to munch on while waiting for your order. Staff has always been very friendly, anytime I have been in there. I personally haven’t had a burger. A pal has, and said that there was nothing exceptional about it, that it wasn’t juicy and was just a fried gray. He felt it wasn’t worth it. Like I said, this review is for the hot dogs, which we all find wonderful. Ditto for the fries! Drawbacks: the place can be very loud, with the music. The past two times I have been in the music was turned down some. It can be very cold in the Summer with the air conditioning, so much so that we sat in the car to eat. The restroom will only hold one person at a time. A little pricey for a hot dog, but definitely worth it ‘cuz’ it’s a good hot dog, and very fresh and hot!!! I have never found the place to be greasy or dirty. I also don’t see peanut shells on the floor, either.

Went here when they opened and thought it was disgusting… late one night a few weeks ago tried it again because husband told me they were«under new management». Have to say was really good. Kids love bacon cheeseburger. Kids ask for Five Guys often but have to limit how often we go there because is definitely very bad for you…

I’ve been here NUMEROUS times and am usually never disappointed. The burgers are all made to order and the staff are well trained and use gloves… and CHANGE gloves… as required. It’s a good establishment and the staff here definitely follow protocol. The store is clean and well kept, and I usually see a staff member cleaning tables after people leave. They have a fantastic drink machine which allows you to create your own drink type which is AWESOME. I can mix like 7 different flavors into my coke or poweraid and it’s sooooo delish(Raspberry, strawberry, cherry, grape, etc, SOMANYFLAVORS!!!) The staff is usually pretty nice, sometimes you might run into a time where they’re goofing with each other or in bad moods, but they don’t seem to take it out on the customers which is good. I did notice the one time a staff member got mouthy with somebody and then talked to ME, another customer, about the other customer(who didn’t do anything by the way, was just waiting for his food). That wasn’t acceptable but I’m sure he got let go because I haven’t seen him since. The only issue I noticed, which is why I downed a star, is that the mens bathroom does not lock properly. You can lock it, but if somebody tries to get in the door unlocks and can let them in which is not good. I’m pretty sure they know of this issue but haven’t done anything about it. I have to say I do love the fries here though, you can get Cajun or regular but either is awesome. I will definitely continue to return here as the food is good and the service is good too.

This individual 5 guys is run like a bad joke. 15 minutes for one over priced over cooked burger and fries. While there are 6 «employees» acting like they are busy in plain view. Yet the place had only 2 other customers who were searching for a clean table as well. And I’m not talking about some peanut dust, I’m talking ketchup, mustard, dirty napkins, trays and grease of various amounts on various tables. While the good ol’ boys in the back are having a good time chatting, I’m cleaning a table for my 3 boys to sit down. Not to mention, the bathroom we washed up in was disgusting, urine and toilet paper all over the floor, etc. As a former cook/wannabe chef and deli manager, this place is completely unmanaged and should be shut down till someone competent can run it. I can only assume that Doylestown food inspectors are on the take like most of the Bucks County Sheriffs, police, cps, district attorneys and judges that roam around getting«freebies» «comps» and«donations.»(Ya think the 8 Phila Traffic Judges who were found guilty being on the take were corrupt, bucks is 10x worse). The only good thing were the fries and the soda machine. As for the chain itself, the burgers flat out stink. Too small, always over cooked, poor rolls, certainly over priced, and usually take too long for a fast food burger place. especially considering how small the meat patty is to begin with. Cooking time should be under 3 minutes. Topping selection is good but not worth the $ 4 that is built into the overall price.

Good food. Filthy tables and disgustingly greasy sticky floor. Service when ordering is frustrating. I was second in line and was forced to wait while the numbskull taking orders took 2 phone orders and placed them with the kitchen before talking to people already there. The SiriusXM music is playing too loud to hear conversation. The environment is crap. The food is good though.

I’ve been here a couple of times already because I love the simple, yet delicious menu and the free peanuts :) A friend of mine has been eager to try it since he moved to the area so I decided to surprise him with a Five Guys burger late one weeknight. Unknowingly, I arrived at the Doylestown location just a few minutes before they closed. When I realized it, I felt bad placing my order but they didn’t give me any grief at all. They happily took my order and dirtied up the grills again for me. I ordered the cheeseburgers and both types of fries — five guys style and Cajun. Both were perfectly crispy and delicious but the overall consensus from everyone that they loved the Cajun style. I’ve always had a great experience so it’s my go-to for a great burger and fries.

The Five Guys in Doylestown is located in the Cross Keys Shopping Center in the small strip mall at the back of the complex along with the All About Vacuum Store, a shipping store, glasses store and a nail salon. There is ample parking in front. Five Guys schtick is that you can customize your burger with a myriad of toppings ranging from the usual lettuce tomato onion, to the unusual including jalapenos, a-1 sauce and hot sauce. They come in regular and junior size, include cheese(but no choice of cheese) and bacon variations. The burgers are all cooked to the point of being a uniform grey. You may get a little caramelization of the meat, but that is not guaranteed. The weakest part of the burger is the bun, a spongy variation of pseudo bread foam that keeps the five guys burger in the realm of a McDonalds rather than elevating it to the level of an elite burger. Even a simple kaiser roll would enhance the flavor of this burger. Five guys tries to tout their fries. They are made fresh daily, cut thick and have parts of the skin on. Their regular fries is a generous portion served in a cup,. and there are always a few extra thrown in the bag. The other thing to note is that all five guys have malt vinegar which goes very well with the fresh«chips.» Frankly the best thing that Five Guys makes are their hot dogs. Kosher beef dogs, split and cooked on the griddle, and with the same range of ingredients available to add to the burger. The only downside is the relish they have is a dill pickle relish rather than the more traditional sweet relish that a good dog deserves. But it is the best thing to order at Five Guys! This chain has the potential to raise the burger to a new level. Unfortunately due to bad bread, over cooking, and an assembly line approach, they fail to do so. Beats a big Mac. but that is not saying much!

Holy Cow! This is one massive flavor bomb of the meal for the hard core carnivore. For those new to 5 Guys and I was one of them this place takes burgers to another level. There is nothing overly fancy or gentrified about this meaty pleasure cruise but it really hits the spot. One of the charms of 5Guys is the simplicity of the menu, Burgers, Fries, and hot dogs. My personal preference is for the bacon cheeseburger with japalenos and onions because I like to run in the fast lane… but just a warning, after ingesting this meat bomb there will be no fast lane, no running. For an extra treat try the spicy fries as well! I know I cant eat there often but when I do I always walk out satisfied!

The lady in front of me took a menu and stood there for a couple of seconds, then asked, «what do you have for vegetarians?» That then led the guy working there and myself to lock eyes and make that, what? face. This isn’t the place to go if you don’t like meat, the bacon cheeseburger is out of this world with super crisp bacon that is very flavorful. The fries, like others have said are made from scratch and served nice and hot and fresh. I guess fresh is the difference between a 5 guys and the rest of the fast food options. Everything they serve you is cooked in front of your eyes, the time between grill and mouth is seconds.

This place also has hot dogs, but its basic All-American burgers and fries done up very nicely. As many toppings as you want included in the price. ¼ and ½ pound versions. Fries made from scratch on premises and served in a beautiful styrofoam cup! Prep is normally 5 – 8 minutes in my experience; a little longer that fast food but well worth the wait. Free drink refills to wash down anything spicy you consume. Franchisees so look for this wherever you go on the East Coast.

Check it out! A juicy, greasy, loaded how you want it, made right before your eyes and loaded with flavor burger! All other chains get lost, I have found Five Guys who know how to make it so much better! After reading so many reviews over the past year, I thought hey, I have to give them a shot, after all the oohs and ahh’s, I was a nervous wreck, am I just repeating the sad mistake everyone else has made of chain burger joints? As I opened up the foil wrapped burger, it looked damn good and after one bite, we all looked up at each other, chewed some more and oohed and ahh’d over that juicy charbroiled greasy bite of heaven on a bun. Get this, all toppings are free and we’re talking mushrooms, jalapenos, onions and so much more! I had a simple cheeseburger with raw onions, lettuce, mayo and mustard. Don’t even get me started on the fries, scratch that, just the thought of them makes me want to hop in the car. They use styrofoam… uggers Five Guys, but they over fill that huge cup with some of the best fries you will eat, hand cut fresh french fries. Once the cup is filled past the brim, they place it in a paper bag and load the bag with even more perfectly salted fries. But the best story in this, they post a daily board so you know where your fries have been last. Kidding aside it is fun to know that my fries were from Idaho, yay! Fresh roasted peanuts anyone? Free! Another great concept and more protein! Any Coca Cola brand drinks that you order are free refills, nice promotion! But I want to talk about the dogs… Don’t you just love a perfectly grilled hot dog piled high with all of your favorite toppings, but hate when you bite into it and lose half of your toppings inside of your tank top? Oh no, it’s not just me, you’ve done it too, either down your shirt or falling all over the paper it was wrapped in. These Five Guys are so smart! They load the toppings on the roll and then place your grilled dog on top of the toppings! Whala, brilliant! And I no longer walk around smelling like onions and mustard all day.
