Good Chinese food for take out, food is consistently fine. Reasonably priced. They have a selection of vegetarian dishes available.

Horrible service. Ordered takeout at 6:07pm. Was told 45 – 50 minutes. Here it is 7:16 pm and still no food. I would not recommend this place at all nor will I order from here again.

On two separate occasions they quoted us 45 minutes and it took an hour and a half for the food to be ready. They can’t handle the volume of orders they get and are bad at estimating the time it takes to prepare food. I will not order from them again because of this.

Can I give this a minus 10? I called in my take out order around 6:40 was told it would take 40 minutes. I arrived and paid for my order at 7:35, and then was told it would take another 20 minutes. It’s now 8:23pm and still don’t have my order. Was now told it would take 15 more minutes. I ordered 3 entrees and 3 appetizers, all standard stuff. Won’t be coming back here again!

Came here with my parents, uncle, and husband on a Friday night. My first impression wasn’t favorable. The place is very small — keep that in mind. The takeout line was almost out the door, and it was impossible to get someone to seat us even though most of the tables were empty. They were definitely understaffed. We were finally seated and given our menus. Our server was all over the place and kept forgetting things repeatedly. We all ordered soup, which came out lukewarm, as did our entrees. I was so hungry by that point that I didn’t even care. Honestly, the food was pretty good, but the fact that it was lukewarm and took forever makes this place just OK.

Hard to find on our two GPS devices. Small place; we did take-out. Everything we had was solidly good*. Nothing great, nothing bad(which these days says a lot, in that most Chinese restaurants can have bad and good dishes.) Prices okay. We’d go back. *My Chinese better-half wants me to point-out that this is Chinese food for caucasians.

Had to drop a star. Not sure if there is a new chef but the last two times we ordered, the quality has taken a hit. General Tso, my favorite, has been bad. Now, that being said, the sesame chicken that we ordered was good. How the quality of two similar dishes can be so different, twice, can’t be coincidence. So the reason why they keep 3 stars is because of the sesame chicken. Pork Lo Mien still above average, shrimp in lobster sauce is ok. People who answer the phone, need a lesson in pleasantry.

Best shrimp and broccoli I have ever eaten! Had to order take-out because we had the puppy with us, but was absolute amazing!

The take out orders are never correct and you lose money. It would be helpful if they go over it when you get there so you are sure before you go home. The flavor used to be better.

I love the food. But, if you get the young Chinese(son) who answers the phone then ask for someone else. He has messed up 3 orders for me and has no clue what he is doing. His Mom should put him in another role. If you call and complain they have no solution to your messed up order. Simply — SORRY.

Solid suburb Chinese food. Quality above par for these type of joints but pick up orders consistently take longer than promised, as others have noted — so plan accordingly. Good option when the craving hits.

Best Chinese food in Doylestown/New Hope/Warrington(basically within a 20 minute drive from Doylestown… Notice I did not say say best Chinese food ever, but I give 4 stars because it is what it is… Good Chinese, not gourmet, but clean and reputable. The staff is friendly. They have some American kids answering the phones… the other reason they get 4 stars. this is a great idea!!! It is easy to order to-go! I actually like the food much better than Ooka down the street!!! Easy, fast, courteous, tasty, and affordable!!! Just what I look for in Chinese take-out. Oh last thing. try the Grand Mariner shrimp. omg. heavy, rich, but delish!

Something has slipped at Chin’s, I’m afraid. And D-town has precious few Chinese places any more, so we are still using Chin’s as our go-to take out spot. The pepper steak with onions was mostly onions and peppers with very little(gristly) steak and drowning in salty brown sauce. Nope. The hot & sour soup was not very hot, but quite sour(like 2% acetic acid sour). Nope. Thankfully the Shrimp with Snow peas was excellent(5 shrimp in a small order) and out 9 year old devoured the sesame(deep fried white meat chunks of) chicken. Fried pork dumplings are doughy but satisfying. Classic Chinese take-out(The eat-in dining room is rather dark) but they need to up their game. Please!!! We need you!

This place is fine. Doylestown is a little short on Chinese food. This one is decent. But only decent. Seems a little bland compared to my favorite Chinese restaurants. I wish they delivered.

I would have given them another star but the service either take out or dine in is simply atrocious… I just picked up and was told to pick up in 15 to 20 minutes. When I arrived 20 minutes later I was told it will be another 15 minutes. I really don’t care if it takes 30 – 45 minutes to prepare my order but don’t tell me 15 – 20 and then make me wait another 15 minutes when I arrive. As to the quality of the food. I have found that the Hunan beef and pork are good. The fried rice is not. The dumplings either steamed or fried are little doughy. In a nutshell the food is ok the service sucks; 2 stars.

If I had written a review two years ago it would have been very good. Now for eat in — very Bad. Service is unacceptable! Take out is ok, food has gone down hill a lot over past year too though. We now drive thirty minutes extra for a quality Chinese eat in meal. Service, service and quality have gone down we will probably not be back again this quarter. Maybe in six months or so when the internal staff changes over again will may try it. It’s a petty the two other local«ones» closed when this place was going good, now they are the only game in town and it is what it is «Meh».

We only order take out, so I can’t speak to the service. From a food quality perspective, we were very happy to discover a really good Chinese place in the Doylestown vicinity, after being disappointed by China Sun near us in Dublin. Since we discovered Chin’s Kitchen we’ve ordered take out at least a few times a month. Wife and I both love the fried wontons. She usually gets the beef or chicken and broccoli. I like the General Tso’s. I did find their sweet and sour sauce to be a bit of a disappointment — too bland and watery(though still much better than the red colored water that was used at China Sun). Other than that, we’ve enjoyed pretty much everything we ordered here. I wish they delivered – I miss having an actual option for Chinese delivery food. If any of the Doylestown area Chinese places started delivering they’d probably make a killing. Haven’t found anything else yet in the Doylestown area that even comes close to this place. Not sure how much that speaks to the actual quality of Chin’s vs. the dearth of excellent Chinese food options in suburban Bucks County!

Food is deserving of 3.5 stars. Service is deserving of zero. I’ve had really good food at Chin’s. Specifically, the General Tsos Chicken, the orange chicken, the soups(wonton egg drop!) and the steamed pork buns. All very much yum. I once however, struck out horribly with the«Hunan Duck» which was absolutely horrendous. Here’s a tip — stick to food that the kitchen can’t possibly mess up. Although the food may be good, it’s extremely overpriced and not worth at all what they’re charging. Ok, now for the service. The staff is basically entirely made of up of kids age 16 to 19 who quite obviously have never worked in hospitality/service before. I had to go up to the counter to ask for extra utensils last time I was here, and I was uncomfortable to do so because BOTH girls behind the counter were just texting away on their iPhones. The waiters barely say anything, don’t make eye contact, don’t check up on their tables. It seems their goal is to serve the food and collect their tip with as little effort as possible. Get take-out if you’re feeling spendy, cause the food is pretty good, otherwise head elsewhere.

Welcome, my friends to the land of the bizarre. Here, I present to you, if you think you can handle it, an Americanized Chinese food restaurant where the meat tastes like it came from a once living animal! That’s right, folks! Step right up! Put one of these morsels of delicious General Tso’s chicken in your mouth. Feel the guilty pleasure of saturated fat enter your body and I challenge YOU to tell me that this does not taste like meat! Seriously though, I’ve become so bitter about Chinese food that I pretty much expect the inside of every fried piece of General Tso’s to be filled with a rubbery, white, gelatinous mixture of something unholy. Thank heavens that I have Chin’s keeping it real.
