Place is awesome. My wife had some bananas with condense milk and they were so goooood. Lots of selections and friendly service too.

Amazing smoothies and great location. Nutella crepes are so good!

i love the workers here there so kind and respectful. I am more then likely gonna shut it down all juice must go in muh belly to be filtered by my kidneys. love the environment.

I couldn’t take pictures because my cellphone’s battery was too low but here goes my first time here.
It was a hot Saturday morning & instead of going to the liquor store to get some shade, I decided to try this place that is conveniently located near Lakewood Station. I didn’t Unilocal this place before entering which I’m kind of glad for because I wasn’t influenced to order what I did (not a bad thing, just saying). I ordered an esquite & a boba thai tea.
The boba drink was surprisingly good! I was hoping it would be because other small joints tend to make it too sweet, or the boba is too hard. I know a lot of reviews mention the boba being hard, but mine wasn’t. It’s not the best boba out there if you’re used to Asian joints (YUM!) but you will get your craving satisfied if you’re in Downey.
The esquite was delicious. The corn was the right texture & the 2 cute Takis sticking out of the cup made me smile. It was random & cute, but also perfect once blended with the mayo & cheese. The only thing missing was more cheese but nonetheless, it was still great. My sister ordered a mangoniada & after trying some, I wish I had too!
As I mentioned earlier, I hadn’t Unilocaled this place, so I can relate to the small confusion of what the establishment’s name actually is. According to the sign outside, it’s called The Whisk but once you’re inside, there’s one other sign that says Yo Whisk & «Whisk It Up» across a wall. I wondered why, & once I read all the other reviews I learned that this place used to sell yogurt too. It’s not a big deal but just clarifying that.
Anyway, I’m definitely coming back. It’s a very clean place, friendly staff & everything tasted fresh. Don’t come if you’re in a hurry, though! Yes, service is a bit slow but worth the wait.

I’ve went a few times mainly because it was close to the train station bit I have returned and recommended it on many occassions because the food always tastes fresh, prices are good, and the staff is always helpful. I’ve had a wide variety of items on their menu and I’ve never been dissatisfied with anything, though I almost alway buy smoothies. Great place.

BOMB tortas and juice! My husband and I love to come here often. The service is fantastic and the place is really clean. I am personally in love with their breakfast parfait. It’s made with barely, yogurt, and strawberries & blueberries. It has just the right amount of sweetness and it’s very filling. We also recently we tried the Boba and it was delicious! They know how to cook the Boba so it has that perfect texture. In any way, this is the kind of place where you can try anything and not go wrong. We’ve gotten a few of our friends addicted here just as we are!

very friendly and welcoming environment. a large selection of healthy drinks/​food. they have a good menu. I came here looking for a better place to get Mangonadas and this place hit a home run. can’t believe I never knew about it. second time here and I’ll definitely come back for more.

Clean clean clean. I know it doesn’t have great curb appeal but it is definitely the gem of the strip. Try the Nutella crêpe! Do it! Go now! No seriously, go get one it’s amazballs.

This place was a crazy good surprise. One of the best smoothies I’ve had. My friends were all very happy with their orders as well (various drinks, fruit parfaits).
It was a little bit of a wait after we ordered and we started to feel like it was taking a little too long… Until we got our orders and realized they had just cut all of the fruit fresh, right there on the spot. The passion fruit smoothie I had was fantastic and everyone else said the same of their order.
Apparently they get all of their fruit fresh everyday. Owners are super nice. Great menu with lots of variety.

Was about to give it a one star rating for the ridiculously hard boba, but the lady was nice … so 2 stars it is.

I loved the Sweet Crêpe! It had crispy edges just the way I like it. I can’t wait to try the juices. I will definitely be going back.

I love this place! Cool place, delicious food, great prices and their staff is way awesome too. I have tried most of their menu and always enjoyed every single item they have. Juices are always fresh, crepes are homemade and taste like in heaven, their tostilocos is very flavorful too. Once again, if you want fresh food this is your place, give it a try and I can guarantee you won’t be disappointed

They have a huge variety of smoothies and juices. I had a watermelon and also the supergreen. Prices aren’t bad compared to the larger juice joints. I also tried the fried plantains which I wouldn’t recommend. So for their drinks and prices they get 4 stars but the food –1 star.

Great green juice. Fresh!!! I wish they opened earlier so I could get one every morning on my way to work.

I was ready to write a bad review… until i had the crepes lol. i decided to go here of all days, on mother’s day. every diner we drove by had a long line outside and i didn’t feel like waiting, with a 1 and a half year old who has no patience for anything. i jumped on Unilocal and found this place who had crepes (what i wanted today, and any day really). they weren’t open yet but i was ok with waiting for 20 minutes because i also knew we’d be first in line and there was no crowd inside.
I was also having a bad moody day, so when it was ten minutes past opening, I got really aggravated for driving this far to only find out the place was closed with no sign about being closed on Mother’a Day. just as i was about to drive off, when I saw someone open the door and turn on the Open sign. The lady inside was very friendly. i ordered sweet crepes and my boyfriend ordered a sandwich on Brochette bread, and crepes as well. WOW. the crepes were amazing and very filling. the sandwich was so good and i am not a fan of sandwiches but i will definitely return to get one. I also saw they have fried plantains! Another thing I love and find very difficult to find in restaurants. We are definitely coming back! but no sooner than 10 min past opening :)

I been coming to this place since they opened and I absolutely love it, great service, good quality products, and best of all the owners are super nice! Highly recommend this place it’s a shame they don’t sell yogurt anymore

Stopped by early in the morning before work because I was feeling a cold coming on and needed a natural fix. Had their detoxifier drink which came with a bunch of veggies and was very garlic heavy. The lady working there was friendly and fixed my «remedy» in no time. And guess what? The juice worked and my cold was kept at bay. Thank you garlic concoction!

This place is a hidden gem for sure! Green juice is such a luxury in these parts of town and I am so excited to find a spot in southeast LA. I adore the owners, they are dietitians and have every answer on how to lose weight and be healthy! I always get the detox green juice (sans celery and parsley, add ginger) and it’s always less than $ 7 for a huge container so it’s a really good deal. This city needs more places like this business, there should be a line out the door but nobody knows the value of what they sell.

Came here with a friend and just had to come again with my son! I’ve already been here 3 times. I can’t get enough and telling all my friends about it.
I’ve tried the all natural Super Green drink, the Cevitostitos, the Bionico, the yogurt, and the Tostiloco! All delicious and worth every penny!
My only recommendation for them to stand out more in that lot is for them to get a sign that lights up. Right now the YOWHISK sign doesn’t have any lights and so it just blends away with the rest of the other businesses that are closed after 5p.
