Ed’s Automotive Service

We came to Ed with broken hoses in cooling system. There already was water inside (because all coolant flowed) and it just poured out.
Ed was very nice, friendly and attentive. It’s really comfortable to deal with such person.
He understood that we need our car as soon as possible. He changed cooling hoses, all coolant and checked all coolant system. Also he showed us these two hoses, which he changed on new.
He did his work quickly, qualitatively and price was good.
We’ll come back!

I challenge anyone to find better service @ fair prices. This place is first class.

This is my parents favorite automotive shop for a couple of reasons: Great service that is fast and professional and prices that are fair and reasonable.
This is a place where you won’t feel ripped off or cheated but will receive great service by all those who work there and they will give you advice about your vehicle that that is from an professional automotive standpoint rather than receiving crooked advice of how much more money they can get out of you.
Always a great experience and I highly recommend this auto shop to everyone looking for honesty no matter who you are and fair pricing. Ed the owner is pretty personable and doesn’t make you feel like a number in line which I think is a great asset.

I am a 25 year old girl who looks like shes 12, so you can imagine how I am treated at car shops. I read and heard good things about Ed’s so I decided to give him a try after going through phone call after phone call of «oh you come here, we treat you right, thats what we do for my customers, we treat you good here.» I needed a 100,000 mile check (after not getting a 30, 60, or 90,000 check), and he told me exactly what I would need with no BS. He was honest and very nice and treated me like any other customer. He even charged me about $ 50 less than what he quoted me. Now my car runs like its brand new and he says I wont need anything done for another 80,000 miles (except standard oil change and what not), so none of that not fixing it right the first time crap. I cant help but think if I went somewhere else I would have spent at least double. Go here, just do it!

Ed’s automotive is the best auto shop in Downey or anywhere around for that matter. We have been going to Ed’s for years and he is always fair and honest. He has saved us thousands over the years by fixing things right the first time. And his shop is cleaner than my kitchen.

I don’t know what happened to Patty, but I have been going to Ed for several years now and he is by far the best, most honest mechanic around. He has taken care of several differnt cares that I own and I have always been pleased with the quality and prices of his service.

Ed’s Automotive is the best auto repair shop that I have come across ANYWHERE ! They are honest and the prices are VERY reasonable !! I had the pleasure of working for ED back in the 1980’s and the man is a genius when it comes to cars or trucks !!!
