Lynns Nails

I’m probably the pickiest person when it comes to nails. I’ve tried millions of places and this place doesn’t disappoint when you go to the right person for specific services. Jenny is amazing with pedicures. She’s opinionated because she knows the products and wants to make sure no one is deceived. Her husband Billy is fabulous doe pink and whites and acrylics. He knows how picky I am and allows me to make my comments (which is rare). They refer to you by your name and are very sweet. The only reason I wouldn’t give them a five star rating is because they aren’t the best with no chip. They lay the polish on too thick and leave a big gap with a ridge which kills my soul!

I walked in for an eyebrow wax, they told me 15 minutes. I sat patiently… then a woman walked in with a chipped gel nail. She was taken care of before me.
After 25 minutes I asked if they still had time, the person I communicated with look at the clock and apologized. I walked out. I wouldn’t waste my time there.

I got gel nails yesterday and they are extremely sore. I’m talking «can’t open the bottle of cream for my coffee by myself» sore. I asked the person doing my nails to be gentle because I have naturally flimsy nails, and he filed them to death! I also stated I can’t use lotion or oils and apparently he forgot and put oil on my fingers anyway. I also noticed that none of the instruments were sanitized. He pulled out the leftover liquid from a previous use and just refilled it! The files had leftover nail dust from God knows who came in before me. I will never go back, the only place I’m going from here is to the doctor.

I wish that I could give a positive review because the nail tech was nice which is why I did not give just 1 star. However the skill level was just not there. I went in for a no chip manicure. I picked my color and she told me immediately upon sitting in her chair that the color would not go on nice. I found that to be a little strange being that they A) are a professional salon and should be able to paint any color and B) why would they carry a color that does not go on well…
At any rate I thanked her for letting me know and choose another color. She then states that the new color that I had chosen was better but still may not go on great but it was better than my first choice. WTH? When. Asked her to tell me what colors would go on good she said she said never mind.
As time progressed I figured it out why she was saying all of this. They like to rush their services and do not like to use colors that require more than 2 coats. She was trying to paint 1 – 2 thick coats vs. 2 – 3 thin professional looking coats! The job was very rushed and sloppy. My personal favorite was when she told me to stick one finger under the light at a time vs my whole hand because the polish would run??? Heck yeah it’s going to run when you are using as much paint as Picasso in 2 coats!
What really ticked me off was when a customer came in to get a brow wax she said it would be 20 min for my nails to dry, jumps up and takes the customer to the wax room!!! first off, no chip barely takes 3 min to dry (one of the cool things about no chip). Secondly my time is valuable and I had already been there for over an hour so now an hour and 20 min. For no chip and only 1 other customer in the salon?!
One of my nails already has a crack and its only been 2 days. I would not recommend this place for no chip. Not sure about their other services and will not be back to find out.

Best mani/​pedi i’ve had for the price. Great service, clean environment, and long lasting results. Love it!

Lynn’s Nails is totally Awesome!!! They do a great job!!! Ask for Billy he is the BEST for a fill and pedi!!!
