Eva’s Upscale Resale

I brought in some beautiful high end expensive clothing she looked at one thing and said they are dated. I bought the clothes 1 year ago. What does she want new. Don’t go there its ridiculous!!!

Wow! I recently brought in 4 bridesmaid dresses, all dry cleaned and worn once. The owner immediately turned me down when I told her what they were. She said didn’t take them and no one would. I glanced around the shop and asked about the prom dresses, two of which were similar colors and styles of mine. She said they only accept those in March. She had a port attitude and an unwillingness to help guide me in the right direction when I inquired further. Stay away from the store and the owner. Not worth your time.

I love eva’s store… no I don’t bring things in but I buy things there all the time… I have a purse I bought from eva’s and everywhere I go woman just tell me how much they love it… I’ve also bought a number of clothing items that I love… I’d say go to eva’s…I go in there at least twice a month…

I should have listed to Lauren D. and stayed far away from Eva’s so-​called «Upscale» Resale shop!
The owner was so completely rude and obviously has no business sense whatsoever. I brought in two large boxes of high-​end items (e.g., Tahari, Jones New York, Anne Klein — mostly new with tags) and she refused to even look through my items. I brought in a beautiful Tahari dress new with tags with a sticker of $ 348. I would have accepted even $ 5 for that new $ 348 item because I really need the extra space in my small apartment. After looking at two items (a sweater and a coat) on top of the box that she insisted were «personal items» (Hello! It’s a consignment shop and most of my items were new with tags), she refused to look through my items. Meanwhile, the clothes she did have for sale looked far from «upscale».
She stated that my items were not even good enough to give to a child. I work at a law firm and I am around perfectly polished, well-​dressed women all day long. This woman obviously has no sense of style. She made me feel like a complete piece of trash that the cat dragged in when in reality, it is her store that is trashy.
I will definitely not be going back to this store again and hope they will be out of business by the end of this year.
