this place is terrible!!! they kicked us our after one drink!!! they judged us because we were hanging out with this one guy who was obviously on some kinda of crazy trip. the bartender was an asshole!!! they just assume that when one guy looks fucked up everybody he’s hanging out with is fucked up…

The food, beer and service is great. However, I’ve only been there when it’s not busy so can’t say what it’s like when it’s crowded. The fries are addicting! It’s a great place to go solo and have dinner and a few beers, too. The only reason I gave the place a 4 is because of the music they play — not a fan of hard alternative rock, but you get used to it.

If you need somewhere delicious to eat with moderate prices and a comfy casual atmosphere, i would recommend Fury’s in a heartbeat! Wanted to go out and grab a drink and enjoy a meal with a coworker on a Sunday night. We decided on Fury’s, and were not disappointed! The bar was pretty much dead aside from a few couples coming in and out. The bartender was so friendly! My friend ordered the tomato soup and grilled cheese. It smelled heavenly and was beautiful! It surprised me. I got Rayzah’s Cubano and it was also so delicious. Beautiful plating, delicious food. I will make this place my regular, for sure. Hoping to go on a night with some entertainment and see how that is.

Went here last weekend to see Gang of Thieves and had a blast! Beers are reasonably priced($ 3 for bud light not sure about the other drafts). There was a $ 5 dollar cover charge but it was worth it. There was lots of room to dance and the band was great. The bartenders could be a little more attentive but maybe they were just overwhelmed. If you’re looking to have a nice dinner this probably isn’t the place for you, but if you’re looking to have a few drinks and listen to music this is the place! We will def be going back.

Your average pub, pool, darts, booze, local bands and cover bands a lot of nights. Small bar, but the bartenders rock. Outside smokers deck. The pub grub is way above average. Scotch egg is great, fried pickle, Gouda Mac, bucket of bacon that comes w/chocolate and something else delicious, fries and cubano sandwiches also good. Spicy spicy mustards.

I couldn’t give this place any stars at all. I should have known what I was getting into when we started to walk down the stairs to the door and smelled a strong aroma of cigarettes and looked right and there was the butt can. Smoking under cover results in nothing but dank stink. When we went inside it was no better. Smell of spilled beer on the gross floor. put your arms up on the bar and it’s all sticky. We walked in and the bartender thought it was more important to clean an empty table then to take 5 minutes to get a couple of beers for us and let us decide on food. We ordered and the food wasn’t actually bad. Fries were great. However the thoughts of issues behind the curtain in the kitchen haunted me. We left quickly after eating half our meal as things were being seen that weren’t adding up. Punk rap music was blasting the whole time but the front of the building is a wonderful entrance giving you the impression this is going to be nice. Oh remember the smell of smoke and the butt can! So I wouldn’t ever go back there or recommend the place unless it was an 18 year old.

We stopped here for live music after dinner. There was a 5.00 per person cover at the door. The bouncer took our EMPTY roadie cups? WT? One was even cracked. I said they are empty. He said I still have to take them? But whatever. The only reason I am giving it 3 stars is because my bf really enjoyed the band playing. But they started at 11 when the sign said 9pm. The bartenders sucked and wouldn’t make eye contact. And we were probably the oldest ones in the crowd. Probably no reason for me to return to Dover, NH so doubt I will be back.

Bucket of Bacon was fantastic !! Cooked just right and the sauces were great and served with plenty to spare. Food menu is small and has some odd stuff but everything we ordered was tasty and priced moderately. Beer selection was average but they had some good specials and were quick to offer a refill. It does get very loud and the guy smoking the vapor cigarette is annoying. Other than that no problems.

Was working in Dover for a week and a local recommended coming here for a bite to eat and for a drink. It was sound piece of advice. Great atmosphere, great location, great music, great service, and most of all great food. The atmosphere is pretty cool, it’s like old style New England bar and grill meets a British Pub, but with a stage for bands mixed in. The bar is large, open, clean, and has nice TVs at it. Can’t really ask for more than that. They also have a side room with couches, a TV, darts, arcade machines, and free pool. The draft beer and liquor choices were great cold weather choices and the bartender knew her way around making the drinks. The food is incredible, plain and simple. Just the appetizer choices alone were stellar. You can tell the chef there knew what he was doing and had a passion for making really good bar food. The ingredients were fresh and the taste was incredible. Now I’m not saying that they have the healthiest options but if you’re going to a bar for dinner, one can expect things to not be on the healthy side. The drinks and the food were both very reasonably priced and the bartender deserved the tip she got. It was nice to find some sort of comfort while in an unfamiliar cold dark town in New England in the height of winter. If I am ever back there, I will be back.

A good dive bar for foodies, but a little rough on the wallet. We arrived early(7-ish), so the place was pretty empty at first. The service was prompt and friendly. My wife and I tried a few appetizers: the Bucket O’ Bacon, fried pickles, poutine, and a side salad. The Bucket O’ Bacon, with its three sauces was delicious, and the bacon was cooked to crisp without being burnt, but I felt that $ 8 was too much for six strips. The poutine was good, also, with plenty of gravy and cheese over crispy shoestring fries, and reasonably priced for the bowl that we received. The fried pickles were $ 1 per spear, and a little on the greasy side, though the spicy honey mustard was delicious(it’ll clear your sinuses, too; bonus). The side salad was the most overpriced item at $ 5 for what was basically a $ 2 McD’s-level side salad. Overall, we liked the talent and creativity shown in the kitchen, and we’d be willing to go again to try their entrees. Would recommend.

Went here last night for the first time to see the final Gnarlemegne show. We got there a couple of hours early so we could have dinner and drinks before the show. The menu is not very big however they do offer some unique dish’s which we decided to indulge in. For an appetizer we had bacon wrapped scallops with a maple syrup glaze. I know sounds strange but it was really good! I had an open faced turkey sandwich for my entrée that was excellent and very filling! The prices were very reasonable as well. As the bar started to fill in we ordered a couple of drinks and the bartenders were very quick, personable, and fun! The drinks were mixed well and priced reasonably. As for the show, Fury’s was a perfect place for their final send off. I live about an hour away but would be willing to drive here to see another local band or even for some food and drinks. It boasts a fun, local, atmosphere with good down to earth people.

Great food, great room, perfect location. The only thing that they could use is a pro sound guy full time. NEVER trust a young frontman to decide the volume of their own music. Brutal at times.

I am torn about this place. Chicken salad sandwich and fries were really good, but I don’t know what happened to my body afterward. I felt more full than during Thanksgiving. When my friend and I got back to my apartment, we laid on bean bags for around 2 hours before being able to move, asking each other the same questions over and over again. «Why am I so full?» «I don’t feel like I ate that much.» «How are we going to drink these 40’s?» I guess that’s not the restaurant’s fault. What is their fault, is forgetting to change the drink special sign. On the chalkboard, it clearly stated, «Sam Summer $ 4» and I went as far as asking the waitress, «Are Sam Summer’s 4 dollars tonight?» She responded affirmatively and so that’s what I ordered. I played some pool. Ate my death sandwich and death fries. Drank some more beers. A new bartender had replaced the one that was originally there. I noticed the sign was rewritten to say, «Killian’s $ 4» and I was like, «Shit, they better not fuck me…» and sure enough, Fury’s fucked me. He told me I read the sign wrong and it’s said Killian’s all night. I began questioning my sanity and literacy. Was it possible? My friend confirmed that I am in fact literate and only a bit buzzed. He ended the argument by walking away and not bothering with it anymore. Fuck that. IT’S THEPRINCIPLEOFTHEMATTER, BRO. I paid about $ 5 more than I wanted to and had to borrow money from my friend. Whatever. 3 stars for free pool, good food, and uh, my friend showing up through the back window… oh, and I guess the patio I’ve never been on.

Being from out of town, we stopped in knowing almost nothing about this place except that they have a patio and that they would let us bring our dogs to eat on the patio.(We called ahead to be sure, which I would recommend… if the night were super busy they may be too full for it.) We started with the smoked gouda mac n cheese, which was pretty fantastic. I had the steak frites, which had yummy sauce and very salty fries(which I like). My wife had the beef tips and was pretty happy with her order, too. The service was pretty darn awesome, given that only one waitress had to manage the upstairs and us on the patio. She was on top of everything and came back to check up on us plenty.

Solve this mystery. Actually there are many. What did I just do to my body? Why did I continue to think that food was something that should be tried in this, gulp, restaurant? What was that on my plate? Fury’s Publik House, once Biddy Mulligans, touts a new authentic Irish Menu. Well, having been to Ireland, I can say that much of the food in the remote areas is bland, tasteless, and unseasoned, so YES this IS authentic Irish food! Having just opened we thought, OK, we’ll give them that. Its a bit dive bar like(read: this place is a dive bar), which is fine. I love dive bars. I just don’t eat at them. And the folks at Fury’s are clearly excited about their menu. Hmm. We started with a fried sampler plate. It had a scotch egg, thump(a mixture of mashed potato and cabbage) a cod cake, and fries, all deep fried and served with a side of Chinese restaurant hot mustard. Again, why, why and why. The scotch egg was a hard boiled egg wrapped in sausage, breaded and fried. The sausage was still raw, the egg dry and the entire bite tasteless. I tried the mustard just to help it, but if you have ever had Chinese restaurant hot mustard you know how that goes. Its overwhelming. The thump, fried like a cake was similarly void of flavor. The cod cake was dry and had a funky smell to it. The fries, well… So suffice to say we took a bite of each and quickly left the rest. Then our meals came(which we were now dreading). I ordered the beef and lamb stew. What came out was broth with chunks of corned beef and undercooked carrots. Not stew by any stretch. My friend had a banger and cabbage roll. Deli roll, lots of bread, small link sausage, although supposedly locally made. Unimpressive. At one point my friend leaned over and said… is that soup? I gave a concerned look back, at which point our server walked by and said, «How’s the soup?». I guess it really was soup. The repeated line was«this is terrible!». Our server was equally entertaining. When we asked how things were going with the new owners she said, «its great. It was so nice to come in and actually use some bleach!». Yikes. Then she asked if we’d be OK while she«went out to play», IE smoke. Sure. Then we can talk about leaving our ½ finished Guinness just to get out of there. The menu looks semi creative. The bucket o bacon especially stood out. But we didn’t even go there. Yes, I think they could even screw that up. If there was any creativity to the execution it was in finding as many ways as possible to poison someone. Go there for bands, shots and beers. Good happy hour deals on drinks. Eat at your own drunken risk!
