Delivery Experience:
Delivery man was great, cashier on the phone was rude. I don’t care, not docking points for that. More importantly the toppings on my pizza were exceptional, however the crust was extremely sub-​par. Think 6th grade cafeteria. Soft, thick and airy without much texture/​flavor. Will try again in a couple years, was just trying something new when I gave Betsy Ross a shot.

The stellar Unilocal rating and reviews brought me in one night while in the Dover area. The place was a mix of a diner and restaurant. The staff was very friendly and told me to sit any where. Every table I went to was dirty but the host came quickly and said she would clean which ever I wanted. The duct taped seats were a huge turn off.
I ordered the mozzarella sticks and BBQ chicken pizza. The appetizer came out quickly but the pizza took a while. The pizza was ok but the shredded chicken was kind of strange and the crust not very good. The service was excellent but the food and environment really brought down my score. The dim lighting was also a turn off.

Visiting from out of town, we stopped here for the first time. You walk in and seat yourself which we like because we can choose the best table for us with the two small kids. The waitress was very nice and provided great service. We started with bowls of complimentary soup. Wife had chicken noodle which was good. I had the crab minestrone which was good. We had a chicken cheese philly and a lamb gyro. Both were very good. We especially liked the chicken used for the philly which was finely sliced breast instead of some mystery deli-​style chicken meat. The fries served were perfectly cooked. The kids each had meat (beef) spaghetti which was also very good, and there was enough leftover to take home for another two meals. The prices made the visit a pretty good value overall too considering the great service and food quality.

I’m passing through De. and I’m wishing to stop at Betsy Ross Pizza in Dover. Nowadays people eat whatever they want for brkfst. Today will be one of those days. I also wish Betsy Ross in Richmond Va. You would be the talk of Richmond.
Whenever I come to De. I eat @ BR and have been going to Harrington but… I didn’t know there was one in Dover :))))). So, so happy. Best pizza ever… This Is just my 2 ¢. Beverly Bone. Hope to see you like within the next few hours.

your favourite? they most likely have it.

The service here is exceptional. The staff is so nice and accommodating. I am not from the area and just happen to stop by because it was recommended by the staff at the hotel I was staying at and it was good. Fries were hot and chicken cheesesteak looked so delicious. If I am in the area again, I will definitely be coming back to Betsy Ross.

We placed a delivery order a couple of weeks ago the subs was exceptional. Last week we eat in ordered pizza and salad. They offered a complimentary soup. The hand crafted pizza was excellent and the soup was as well.

We had a good experience. Waitress was great, but the place was empty. They have good pizza. Pretty typical sub/​pizza shop. We got a good pour on the merlot. Tasty.
