Food was just ok nothing to talk about, had better Thai food elsewhere. Small portions for the price you pay for.

I have written a previous review on here and gave the restaurant 5 stars but it has been some time since I had ate here, until a few days ago. Happy to say that they are still my favorite Thai restaurant. The food is just excellent, very well presented and tasty. Their service is very good and their prices are very reasonable. If you are looking for a nice quite Thai restaurant, with good service, excellent food at a affordable price, then this restaurant is well worth your time and money.

I’ve been here three times and the food has been great all three times. It’s close to my house and the price is right for the amount of food you receive. I’ll keep coming back and I would suggest you try it out.

Bangkok chicken as recommended by Unilocalers was delicious. Spring rolls were nothing special, but I enjoyed the basil rolls. I’ll be back.

Tried this for the first time and was impressed. It’s located in a strip mall just outside the big mall. Very nice décor and the service was very good I had the pad Thai it it was very good. I asked for some extra spice and they accommodated nicely. I would come back here again.

Got seated right away… The lighting in here is very dim with the only natural lighting coming from the entrance door. They have a bunch of Windows inside that can provide natural lighting to this atmosphere but there are all closed when it is so beautifully outside… This place looks very clean and their decoration does give you a ‘Taste of Thai’ I ordered their Thai iced coffee which was quite delicious! Definitely a sweet and savory type of coffee given in a great portion! Also tried their hot and sour soup which is good and like anyones hot and sour soup, so it doesn’t stand out.(This could be a good or bad thing depending how you look at it) When we ordered our entrée, it took quite awhile for us to get our food out to us. And while I was hoping it was worth the wait, it somewhat was. Definitely a small portion I’ve ever received from a Thai restaurant which was kind of sad especially with their prices. I ordered the Pad Thai with chicken which was delicious until I took a bite out of the super dry chicken. The noodles was also a bit over cooked and super salty.

I’ll be honest, there is not much to do in Douglasville. We pretty much have the standard selection of restaurants — fast food, steak house, seafood, and italian. Nine times out of ten my husband and I drive out of the county in search of new and better food experiences. However in the limited sea that is my home county, this restaurant is a gem that stands out! The prices are more than reasonable for the quantity and quality of the food, the staff are both kind and attentive, and the atmosphere is quiet and relaxed. Taste of Thai has to be my favorite local spot to take visitors, it a guaranteed enjoyable meal! Also, take my advice and try the coconut chicken soup! It is to die for, and I go more often than I care to admit to grab a bowl for my lunch.

I’ll start by saying that I am not a big fan of Chinese, Japanese or Thai-like foods. My taste pallet is very ‘limited’ when it comes to these types of cuisine. HOWEVER, Hubby loves it and it was ‘lunch-date-day’ AND his choice as to where we ate. Well he wanted Thai. Hence! Taste of Thai Atmosphere:Small, but not too small. Quant. Cozy. Are words that come to mind. Tables seat 4 comfortably. There are quite a few tables .Not brightly lit, but just enough-dimly, cozy like. Appetizer-Cheese rolls-crispy, flakey, fresh & hot. Yum! :) We got 3 rolls & a dipping sauce. The sauce is def a plus. The taste is sweet but not too sweet kinda duck sauce’ish kinda thing(lol). It’s good though. And I made a point to have a little sauce on each bite Coconut soup– ok I was hesitant about this, but it automatically comes w/lunch so I figured why not try it. Anywho– Never had or heard of this soup in my life. I really expected the worse. Its white & watery– def not creamy or thick. Thinly slices of mushrooms & random pieces of chicken were a pleasant surprise. I ate it all lol(although you don’t really get a lot in the first place) Moving on! Pepper Steak– ok now this was REALLY good. Nice thin sauce, not too thick-like Im more accustomed to, but good and they give just enough for the rice which is on the side. Red/green peppers/onions were all cooked well w/just enough crunch left. Steak was tender & well seasoned. Personally I could’ve used more steak, but I just like meat. Rice was good. Well cooked, flakey, not too sticky, but held together just enough Sweet n Sour Chicken– hubby’s choice. Looked really good-he gave it a thumbs up. I don’t like sweet n sour chicken on any given day so I didn’t try his. Like I said– it looked good and he ate it all lol All in all. It was good. I probably wouldn’t ‘crave’ it, but if I were to go back, I wouldn’t be as hesitant to try something else on the menu

The Glass Noodles with Tofu 2 peppers hot is yummy. Plus having two good friends Richard and Carol share with us is awesome! Thank you for the three year old Fancy grape from California and the Anniversary Card.
