This place is HORRIBLE. TAKEYOURMONEYELSEWHERE! !!! The guy doing my nails filed so hard and carelessly he made me bleed then proceeded to argue with me about my choice in nail shape as if it’s any of his concern. Then did each of my nails A DIFFERENTWAY. And they looked dull as all hell. It was so bad I went to a different salon and had them fixed. Everything is rushed at michelle and they are all rude. It’s dirty too I’m going to call the health board because there was dust the floor was falling apart mold, nothing is sanitized and they leave dirty nail clipping in the tools. My advice. DON’T GOHERE

STAYAWAY! I decided to take my daughter there so we could get our nails and eyebrows done. NEVERAGAIN! They do not sanitize anything, including the tools, tubs, bathrooms etc. I used the ladies room and the sink didn’t even have water so when I was done I had to find my hand sanitizer. The tubs are gross, they don’t even clean them with any kind of soap or solution between customers, they just rinse and take on the next client. I watched this happen with 4 people. We decided to Shellack our nails and those cheap basterds wouldnt even apply the gloss coat, I had to complain that my nails looked dull over an over then they applied a regular top coat nail polish which days later caused my shellack to wear away. The owners ended up in a huge argument about something not in english, then to boot I left the tip for the person whom did my nails and my daughters and the owner comes over and says what about my tip? I said I am sorry did you do something to help me? She then took the tip that I left for the other gentleman and said this my tip. And never gave the poor guy the tip. Unless you like relaxing in filth and having to go back days later cause their work doesnt last I suggest you stay clear!

You need to be very careful when going to this place. The guy who does the brows may do a good job, BUT if you observe him, he very rarely changes the towel that the customers rest their necks on. My family and I watched this for a while one day as our nails were drying: he just shook the towel out in between customers that were coming in, and some times he didn’t even shake. Also, the pedicure stations(the little tubs) are NOT cleaned properly. The seats are rarely wiped out(bum sweat after bum sweat … Imagine?). All this at the expense of nice looking fungal nails and pretty athlete’s feet? It’ll catch up with you if don’t start speaking up. Would that be acceptable in another community? It may be convenient for some, but is it really worth it? You be judge.

Ok, let’s tell the truth here people and not sugar coat the shit! Now as for the location of course it’s not the best whatsoever. In the midst of ghetto hoodrat ignorant central!!! and that’s me being nice lol but yes I used to be a regular when I was younger and didn’t mind the loud ignorance that is dorchester. The prices were within my budget and they usually did an okay job. Now fast forwarding a few years and knowing what I know now would I go back there? hell no! they are definatly not the cleanest place at all. I don’t like the idea of getting my feet done and having large dust balls next to my pedicure station. Or other clients nail clippings on the station where I’m suppose to be getting my nails done grossss. The one good thing about them is that the guy who does the eyebrows always did a realllllly good job on my brows and for $ 5 it lasts a good amount of time too. Would I give them 4 or 5 stars hell no but its not a complete wreck either.

Hi! I usually go here from time to time! They are friendly! This Salon is one of Boston best kept secret along with Golden nails and lillys nail salon in Dorchester. Intersection of Washington st and Columbia Road. 118 Washington They open 365 days open 7 days a week 9am-9pm Mon-Sunday(trust me they even open on Sunday when most salons are closed) When you walk in they do greet you and ask you what you want done. The prices in here are very reasonable consider that most nail salons will charge an arm and leg for there work. The lead nail tech in the salon Name is Nina! I have to say she is the fastest nail tech in the place so when you go ask for her. Or she might be sitting there in front of you doing you nails(smile) Full-set is $ 18, refill is $ 11, French is $ 5, design $ 3, take off $ 10, Gel I believe is $ 35. Eye brows I believe is $ 7, pedi $ 20 w French or design $ 5 extra They do a very nice job with your nails you will not be disappointed. I had my nails redone a couple times they always(in opinon) look very nice). So if your money is funny or really want to get a nice redone go to this place. Did meation the prices are Boston best kept secret.

Why do i love this place so? Could it be the comfortable seats? The wonderful acrylic job? or cause I’m super cheap? 4 stars, for all 3. but when you think of the word GHETTO. Michelle’s nail salon is listed right beside it in the dictionary. The location? ehhhh, not so convenient. You are right in the middle of drama central. It’s your average nail salon. No elegance, no carpeting, nothing fancy. comfortable chairs. I mean there isn’t much to say about the décor. the size makes the experience much more awkward when walking in. The regulars do match up with the location, 3 words… Pretty Damn Ghetto. but back to the basics. Upon walking in you are always greeted with a Hello, can I help you? If it’s not too busy and someone is available, they’ll take you right in. Nope, no appointment needed. They are fast, and easy! and make the job beautiful! Great for last minute(Minus Saturdays.) The eyebrow guy(don’t know his name) does a pretty great job. Not bad for $ 5.00 bucks. and if your looking for acrylic? 24.00 for a full set. designs included! as for a refill? 15.00 dollars. pretty decent I’d say ! Complain all you want!(«boo hoo my paint chipped») They are always willing to fix the problem. not to mention. free of charge! 15 minutes of scrubbing… and BAM! You have the most beautiful nail job not to mention your still rocking it after 3 in a half weeks.(heh) They’re quick to tell you what is or isn’t wrong with your nails and how you can take better care of them. if you minus the regulars, the workers are very friendly(well uhh. depends on their mood) There’s one guy who isn’t afraid to file your nails till they bleed! (no seriously !) watch out now! I’m used to all the arguing that goes on in there. People making huge scenes. but what do you expect? It’s Dorchester.( Unilocal definitely got the location mixed up) As a regular, i do have to admit that I’m addicted to this nail salon their ghetto fabulousness has worked me wonders! So if you aren’t afraid of a little low class i’d suggest that you stop by. and when the job is finished .just run out and grab a bite to eat there’s a burger king is right across the street. ;-]
