If you’d like to get your hair done at a reasonable time I would say to come early! The earlier the better as this hair salon fills up quick. I like how they have you sign in so that they know who’s first and then next so on and so forth. But honestly, you’ll be waiting. The ladies love chit chatting amongst each other which is fine but sometimes it’s time consuming when you just want to be in and out. The salon is a bit small so it’s a bit hard to get around and sometimes people are standing because there are not enough seats.
Okay so let’s get to the hair. I’m surprised that after they wash your hair and put the conditioner, they don’t let it sit a bit. They immediately wash it out and on to rollers. I know it’s not a deep condition but I would at least wait 3 – 5 minutes then wash it out. They do do a good job as massaging the scalp VERY well. Anyways, most of the time they do my hair, I have never seen them use heat protectant. So I would advise to bring your own. Because one you are under the dryer for such an amount of time then they blow dry your hair and then use a flat iron which all are on high heat. Sometimes it sizzles. I would just be cautious ladies. I’ve had to stop going to often because I experienced extreme breakage and heat damage. But honestly I’ll just bring my own products for them to use. LOTS OF HEAT PROTECTANT! But honestly they do a very good job with the end results and they always let you know when you need a trim. & it’s for a decent price. Tuesday’s & Wednesday’s are their specials. I believe it’s wash & roller set for $ 15 or $ 20. I even see guys in there!
Other than the heat damage issue (which is my only concern), I would say this is a great salon.

If you want beautiful hair arrive EARLY not 10 minutes before closing time to get your hair done. TUESDAY and WEDNESDAY After you arrive early WRITE your name on the clipboard and LISTEN for your name so have your ears wide open, they play music at all times. While you await your turn look scratch that off STARE GLARE at the hair stylist. I mean just look at the person who you would want to do your hair and how they do others. That was my trick and every single time wait for Marisol. Again first come first serve. Patience is a virtue oohh a they charge a $ 2 FEE for using CC or DEBIT, plastic.

They actually did a good job this time. I went back after a previous let down but I think they hired some people revamped the place and now it is looking better. They do there specials on Tues & Wed which is really good if youre in a jam. And after the 10^th wash you get a free hair wash thats a pretty good deal to me.

Its ok. They have specials Tuesdays and Wednesdays. $ 15 wash and sets. Kinda wish they (hair stylist) spoke more english. Its a dominican owned Hair salon. But they get your hair done quick. I just go there when my reg hairstylist is packed. Just went there once. But they seem decent.
