If you want real deal Mexican food and the best service then this is the place. Manny and his wife Claudia are incredible. They run this place alone, 6 days a week. The food is delicious and authentic. I have not had anything there that was less than perfect. My family drives from Woodland to Dixon weekly to dine here and are never disappointed. It saddens me to see bad reviews on here about this place. Especially from people who seem to visit numerous other places Unilocal pages and post nothing but negative comments and lies. You don’t have to like the food here(by why you wouldn’t is beyond me) but you do need to stop posting lies about good, hard working, blue collar folks trying to share their love through their business. Manny and Sugar, we love you guys and your place and are honored to be able to dine at your establishment! Thank you!

Got the taco salad and it was the most artistic one I’ve ever seen compared to to other ones I’ve had. Even included avocados which I did not expect. A little bit smaller serving from what I expected, veggies were okay. Atmosphere is cool and unique, learned about historical figures and places from Mexico from their décor. It was cool watching the owner’s daughter learning how to work there when she served my food.

Have you ever had refried beans that changed your outlook on life? I have. The flautas platter was the pinnical of flavorful food. I seriously cried a little bit after the first bite. This places food make me want to move into the area. My only problem is I cant go above five stars.

OK food… Well I ordered a super carne asada burrito but I think I got a super veggie burrito. Where’s the meat?

Hella great food!!! Reminds me of good southern Cali style. The beans are scrumptious and the crispy tacos are great! We’ll be back!

Best. Tacos. Ever. I love Jalisco’s!!! It’s the perfect comfort food if you’re in Dixon. If you’re having a bad day, just go to Jalisco’s and order a plate of lengua tacos, rice and beans. The salsa’s really tasty too! — Happy customer of 10+ years!

Food just so-so. What really burned me is they don’t take credit or debit cards. So I barely ever have cash anymore, who does? So, he kindly refers you to the ATM…$ 2.50 to get out cash. So my 7 burrito became 9.50. I said something like who doesn’t at least take debit anymore and he gave me attitude and said, why should I pay your credit card fee? Anyway, arguing with me. Take debit and charge me a quarter to cover the cost, instead of jamming me with an ATM fee. Nope no more. Taking it to El Portal in Auburn.

Probably my favorite spot in town — when I have cash. The service is great. The salsa is tasty. I get the same thing everytime. It can get very busy and there’s not a whole lot of room. We usually take out unless we are also ordering any beers. I get tacos, the bf chimichangas. The rice & beans, I think, are the best in town.

The customer service here is excellent. The salsa is fresh and spicy. The food is reasonably priced. I had a burrito and enchilada combo and it was great. We came here on a Tuesday at around noon and there was not many people. Maybe because Dixon is a small town.

loooove this place. come here often on my lunch break from work. the guy who works the front and serves you is always so nice and attentive. food is always great and comes out in a timely matter and when you dine in you get chips and salsa which both taste homemade and delicious. I have no complaints at all. remember to bring cash! they have an ATM but it charges you like 2.50

Two words: tongue tacos. Since I discovered this place on one of my many trips to Tahoe I can’t seem to stop stopping here for a taco snack whenever I pass by. I have only had the tacos de lengua because they’re so good I haven’t been able to order anything else. The chips aren’t anything special but I don’t really care.

I used to live in vacaville and found this place 7 yrs ago. I moved away and still make a point to stop here when I have to drive thru dixon or come out to vacaville. Friendly people, great authentic food, inexpensive, and the atmosphere is family friendly.

Service was awful. The girl seemed annoyed that I asked what came in the super burrito. Would be nice if it was listed on the menu. So Then she explained it to me like I was stupid…“it comes with tomatoes and avocado” ugghh! Guacamole and pico de gallo? Sorry but there is a difference. We asked for jalapeños.she tells us after ten minutes of waiting that it will take another five for the jalapeños. What??? She rings up the order it comes to $ 19.48… No chips for us you have to spend $ 20. Then we get the to go order back to the house and it was wrong. Thank goodness the salsa was decent just poured it on the burrito for some flavor.

Perfect whole-in-the-wall Mexican restaurant. My sibling who are both atleast 6 hours away will always demand to go to jaliscos when they’re in dixon. My favorite thing there is their hot salsa! It’s addicting! Always enjoy their chicken or beef tacos! Very friendly service! The only down side is they did recently stop taking cards which has been extremely aggravating! If it weren’t for the card issue I would absolutely give them 5 stars!

Returning to the Portland area from the SF ay Area via the Feather River, side trip to visit my brother on the way home. Got thru Sacramento and was starving when I saw the highway sign and decided to get some Mexican lunch. Didn’t expect anything fantastic… Went inside to order and it looked like a typical small Mexican restaurant and menu. Ordered lunch at the counter and sat at a nice table out front when within seconds a very polite male server brought out wonderful chips & salsa and took my order for a Pacifico beer. Lunch came out soon after and was another one of the best authentic Mexican meals I’ve ever had. I don’t come thru this area often but will definitely stop here again when I do !

They only take cash and they aren’t very friendly. You«may» use their ATM(and you«may» be charged a fee for doing so) if you don’t have cash. Their salsa is watery and weak and their«super» burrito ain’t so super. They’re a little better than one star — but not by much at all. I won’t be going back.

Nothing exciting, nothing to brag about. SERVICE was super SLOWWWWWWWWWW. We were in line right behind four guys. They got their food, ate and left before we even got our food. A group of 5 – 6 more guys came in and ordered after we sat down, and they got their food before we did. What the heck??? Did they have to go to the ocean to catch the fish for our fish taco??? What takes so damn long??? We were so tired from the 3 hour drive that we didn’t have the energy to complain. We got to eat eventually but the food was almost as upsetting as the service. COMPLIMENTARYCHIPS — Just alright. I probably wouldn’t have stuffed my face with it so much if I wasn’t so hungry. The salsa was super spicy for me but for spicy lovers it’s probably very mild. HORCHATA — Watery. Not gritty. Weak. CARNITASTACO — Oily. Bland. Boring. TONGUETACO — Oily. Bland. Boring. FISHTACO — One big, fried piece of fish instead of fish chunks! It was a little better than the other 2 tacos after I squeezed the hell out of a lemon wedge onto it, but I was still not aroused! This was the only restaurant that looked interesting when we drove around the neighborhood on our way to Davis. Plus it was Cinco de Mayo, we HAD to have a little snack at a Mexican restaurant! Unfortunately this place was a big disappointment. Maybe we ordered the wrong things. But hey, you only get one chance to make a first impression!
