Robben’s Department Store

Susie helped us out with cub scout supplies today she was very knowledgeable and very nice. This is our 3^rd visit here for supplies and each time we have had great customer service with people who were very knowledgeable about the patches and items we needed for cub scouts.

This is a must see when you travel to little Dixon! It has a bunch of fun things in the store to look at and buy!
I traveled to Dixon when I heard they have a big supply of boy scouts (totally saved me) and even considering buying flooring at that place!
This store really has a wide variety of things if you have not had the chance to check it out!

I visited Robben’s Department Store in Dixon a few days ago. I experienced a time shift of fifty years to the past. The store was packed with clothing, western hats, and other Items one would expect to see in a general store of the early twentieth century. The room seemed packed to the gills. There was merchandise everywhere and narrow (but adequate) space to move around and shop. The place seemed comfortable and welcoming.
The owner greeted me and explained the range of hat prices, giving me so insight into the preferences of the local cowboys in the Dixon area. Apparently real cowboys won’t wear anything but Stetson.
The prices were reasonable, and they even stocked a western hat for about eight dollars. Of course the Stetsons cost much more.
I plan to go back when I have more time to look around. I only saw about a quarter of the store in the fifteen minutes I had to spend.
