Me & Martha’s Restaurant

This restaurant has very good Mexican food and great service. A bit noisy, but fine for us.

This place used to be pretty decent but lately it’s just gone downhill. The food is so so (tacos are decent I think) but the service is HORRIBLE! She wasn’t rude but we never saw her after she brought our food. Never once did she check in with us for refills and we waited almost 15 mins after we were done dining to get our check. We would have been waiting much longer had I not gone up and asked for it finally. So extremely disappointed :(

My friend and I were not greeted when we first walked in. My Chile Verde bowl was warm not hot. We asked for more salsa and never got it. Waitress took for ever to refill my drink and never asked how everything was.

The cheese enchiladas and retried beans are really good! The service and prices are very reasonable.

I had the chili rellano burrito with chili verde sauce on top. The chili verde had good flavor but some of the meat was a little hard as if it had been sitting for a while. The rellano was not that great, they use the «fast» method of making a rellano and instead of stuffing the poblano with cheese they slice it. The egg white breading is a very thin layer and is not fluffy as I like it. The rice was a little on the salty side. Overall the food was just okay, not sure if I would go back again.

I’ve been coming to Me and Martha’s since the day it opened. I even worked here for a few weeks as my first job as a freshman in high school. I’ve seen two major expansions of the restaurant and have tried everything they have to offer.
A typical experience involves being seated immediately and friendly service. One downfall I see in this restaurant is their young and unexperienced wait staff. I really like that they hire young people who are wanting to work, but they need a dedicated long term experienced waiter/​waitress that isn’t one of the owner’s or family members. (IMHO)
The food here is spot on. I’m the kinda guy who likes having the same meal taste a little different with different cooks. It makes it seem closer to home made for me.
This restaurant is always spotless. They take the time to make sure everything is clean and in working order.
You’d really enjoy eating here, so give it a try!

Customer service, food, and the place are amazingly wonderful … Feels quaint! This is possibly the best restaurant in Dinuba for all the qualities listed above!

Of the three main Mexican restaurants that I go to here in town this one is the least favorite. The taste is alright and the prices are a little high. It’s fancier and cleaner than the others but that doesn’t make up for the food being average.

The food is good but the owner is as pleasant as a kick in the pants and they are only open until 3pm Sunday. Hopefully they will graduate to a better restaurant soon. Has more potential. No parking lot. Basically a converted residence.

My husband and I visited Israel a few years ago. The food was delicious, but I found myself craving Martha Chips!!!
You might want to avoid the restaurant when the high school is on lunch between 11:15 and 11:50. (round about) as it gets a bit crazy.
Nice, clean atmosphere. One doesn’t feel rushed. There is a smaller television behind the counter, but I face away to avoid the distraction.

Went to this place twice food was nasty service was nothing special. This place needs to be shut down. We have enough mediocre Mexican restaurants in the valley

I’ve gone to Me & Martha’s twice in the past couple of weeks to pick up a take-​out order and have never been ignored and treated with, what felt like, contempt for standing at the counter waiting to be addressed. Both times I went the restaurant was busy with only one waitress and the owner working the floor and register. After standing for 20 minutes (this is no exaggeration… the only reason I stayed waiting was because a friend had walked in soon after me and we were able to chat a bit) without so much as a «I’ll be right with you.» The owner of the restaurant twice walked up to the counter right in front of me while refusing to acknowledge my existence as a customer. I can’t believe the owner hasn’t been confronted about this type of behavior before… her behavior was/​is so opposite to all that I think good customer service entails I couldn’t even believe what was happening to me. Anyhow, their chili verde is pretty good, but go somewhere else if want to be treated like a human being and not made to feel as if the restaurant and owner are doing you a favor by allowing you to eat at their establishment.

Food is decent, go to Juanitos instead. Unfriendly impersonal staff. Have to beg for refills as the girls are too lazy to check on you.

In high school we always went here for lunch. The food is good, and now that they’ve expanded the service is pretty decent.
It’s funny, because I always either get a burger (lol, but they make a damn good burger) and fries or the cali chicken taco with rice. DELICIOUS, chicken, guac, sour cream and American cheese on a fried tortilla (I have them put rice on it too) SO good and I haven’t been able to find anything like it anywhere in So-​Cal!
I’d give Me & Martha’s a 3 ½ if I could. I’ll stick with 3, though.

Chicken Enchilada Verde, taco special with shredded meat, rice and beans… verde was KILLER. Salsa was tasty, rice and beans were spot on and the taco was great… everything was delicious.
The verde was so good I bet they have killer mole sauce but they don’t make it every day. I’ll bet it rocks though…
