Great service at 5am. Said he’d be out in 30 minutes to unlock our car. Actually got here in 20. Hours later, the other 24 hour locksmith we called hasn’t called back.

I can’t say enough how great these guys are! I lost my car key on the mountain and could not go home on Sunday, I called a key and towing company but they couldn’t make car keys, so they referred me to blue river. I called and got someone on the phone immediately, within 15 minutes we are on our way to the car. It was Sunday afternoon and snowing hard, but they had no problems helping me immediately. They made sure my problem was resolved before leaving my side. My keys were found later so I was lucky, but I won’t hesitate to call them if I ever need help with locks or keys.

I called Blue River Lock & Security around midnight on the first day of a holiday weekend after the key to my home broke in the lock. Within 20 minutes Gary was at my house working on the lock. Despite the late hour, he was so cheerful, friendly, and professional. He quickly got me into my home with a set of new keys. We lost a set of car keys unloading our car in the dark on Spring Break in Breckenridge. Got burried in the snow. Gary came out at 10 pm on a Saturday night and got the car unlocked so we could unload the rest of our luggage and then worked very hard until close to midnight trying to determine if he could make a duplicate key. We found the key the next day and called him and asked how could we make him whole for spending so much time the night before for something that was my mistake and he said not to worry about it. I’ve also never seen anyone get into a car the way he did. No damage to the door or window frame and he did it in 10 minutes.

I have a high end front entry lock set from Stone River Bronze that has cheap parts probably made in some 3rd world country. It fell apart after some mishandling. I have had two other locksmiths work on it. The handle remained wobbly and the mechanism did not work properly. I called Gary at Blue River Lock. He was very innovative and managed to get it to work properly without the wobble factor. His charge was extremely reasonable. I am so happy I finally found a good locksmith.

I am parent to a precocious and curious 18 month old. When putting him into his car seat, he often likes to hold my car keys. Long story short… he locked himself in the car WITH my car keys. After assessing all other alternatives for getting him out of the car, I resorted to calling Blue River Lock & Security. They were there within 15 minutes and had the car open a couple of minutes later. When I asked what the cost would be for the work, he (sorry I can’t recall the technician’s name) said that it would be free as «there was a child locked in the car». I can’t thank him enough for his responsiveness and professionalism. I would recommend this company to anyone.
