Burritos and bowls are like nothing else around here, and they are extremely good. Staff is a little weak and prices are high. Keeping it fairly clean though.

Filthy. If you don’t mind disgusting bathrooms, tables that are not wiped off & utensil bins filled with dirt then this place is for you.

I will NEVER go to another Chipotle as long as I live! The service was terrible! Uneducated, cocky smartass kids working there didn’t help the situation. How can you expect a company to run when you cant meet supply and demand? My experience was so bad that I contacted Chipotle headquarters and they responded back, but from the looks of these reviews nothing changed.

For fast, fresh, delicious food, you can’t beat chipotle. My husband and I had to be in Scranton to pick up something and stopped at Chipotle in Dixon City. As always, the food is delicious and good quality. I love having the choices to design my own dish. And the staff were friendly and efficient. I’m not sure whether the poor reviews are because of bad service, but this was certainly not our experience at this Chipotle.(that has happened before at the Chipotle in Ardmore, close to where we live, but my husband complained about it and got an wonderful response from management, in addition to changes in service going forward!)

Safe to say this staff needs work! I love Chipotle and order multiple times a week but tonight was my first experience where a burrito wrapper almost got pulled over the counter. Cocky lil teenager obviously with poor training rolled his eyes in disgust when I needed more than 3 burritos and he told me next time I need to fax my order or use an app because it’s company«policy». Of course this isn’t posted anywhere and when I called to complain about his attitude and his manager also stated that a pre order was not necessary. Who preorders anyway? It was a last minute dinner idea god my famy. Since I’m not going to discontinue eating there I hope j don’t see the pudgy lil P@$!k any time soon!

I am 2,000 miles from home in Colorado where it all began, in the place i grew up. OFCOURSE I want CHIPOTLE! I was over the moon excited to find out they finally built one back east where I grew up. To my surprise this is the few free standing ones I have ever seen. It’s situated in the Viewmont Mall Area and a little off the beaten path but worth the drive. Was great to get a taste of Colorado Home in PA. If you’ve not stopped in, get on it! You’ll be glad you did! Fresh, and flavorful! If you care to try it my way… Bowl: Brown Rice, Black Beans, Steak, Corn, Extra Corn, Sour Cream, Lettuce and Cheese. Then give yourself a few dashes of Chipotle Tabasco on top.

The burritos are great and the staff has a good system… my only complaint is $ 2 for a tablespoon of guacamole ??? C’mon…I might have to start going to Moe’s if this doesn’t change!

The food here is garbage how do you serve your customers over cooked rice that has been sitting for awhile and chicken that has been sitting and on top of that the line crew was just as clueless as the door to the business. Just awful

Went here twice. No pork. Very slow. I asked for peppers on my burrito. The girl working the counter pointed at the empty tray and said, «we’re out». She looked at me like I had 3 heads when I told her I would wait for her to make more. Finally got food. Not worth the wait, or the price.

Yuck. That’s the only word that comes to mind from my experience. From the outright rude cashier, to the order that was 10 minutes later than promised, to the worst part — the food — I will not grace their doorstep again and I will be sure to share my experience with friends and family. I have never been to any Chipotle, but I had high expectations for the food based on all the great press they get. I was shocked to walk in and find a girl to the side of the cash register putting together to go orders. She was a nice girl, I’m not knocking her, but for the food stuffs to be out in the open(no coverings) right near where the cash transactions were taking place made me think twice about my order. The method of making the soft taco was worse than cafeteria tacos. Chicken(burned chicken no less), lettuce, cheese, salsa all dumped in the center, followed by a big glob of sour cream dumped on top. The taste experience was no better than the visual. The aforementioned charred chicken was nasty and the lettuce was limp at best. Sad to say, but the to go app is the best part of the Chipotle experience. If you want to be where all the hip and cool people are and don’t care about the taste of your food, be sure to head to Chipotle. Me, I’ll be at Taco Bell when I have a craving for cheap chicken soft tacos.

I was excited to try Chipotle’s after hearing people rave about it and a local news station doing a segment on it. My girlfriend and I drove 20 minutes to get to it. What a disappointment. My girlfriend wanted grilled peppers and onions on her steak quesadilla. They upcharged her to a burrito. I got a chicken burrito. The chicken was fatty and the rice was under cooked. Extra charge to get chips and 1 side of salsa. The chips had a funky taste. The only reason I am giving them 1 star is because the staff was friendly and fast. My opinion is that we got a MUCH better deal at Moe’s. On Mondays you can get any burrito, chips, unlimited salsa and a drink for $ 5.50. I even prefer Panchero’s with their made fresh tortillas. I would eat at Taco Bell before I thought about coming here again. Don’t waste your money here.

Great music, generic décor, no guacamole or onions… Staff seemed uneducated about the food… Burrito was standard… Could have been warmer… awkward seating area near ordering area…

I’m not 100% sure this is really a Chipotle. Everything looked right, but the food was severely lacking. Everything was extremely bland and my steak was overcooked and a bit cold. I’ve eaten at Chipotles all across the country, and this was the first time I’ve been disappointed. I’m really thankful their Tabasco section was stocked.

This chipotle is new, but does the name good. Nice modern atmosphere and of course, great food! The service is top notch as well. Some people are nit picking about things that have already changed or don’t really matter. Just come and enjoy some great food! Sure the line was slow, but these guys are new. So people need to CHILL!

Chiipolte is finally here that’s the good news. The bad news is that the staff is way too slow. I know they’re new and need to learn and all but that’s not the whole story. When the line is wrapped around the building, I don’t get a sense of urgency from them at all. It’s all smiles and slow motion. Let’s see maybe management will recognize this and light their fire a bit.

Please, for the love of god, don’t rip this location apart for another couple of weeks. They literally have been opened for a week and a half and certainly have a ton of kinks to work out. Give it a month or so before you judge!(This review will be updated then, as well!)

What a mess! First the obvious. The seating layout is aweful. Tables are grouped together so that there is no way of having a private conversation. Basically if you want to sit there’s a chance you’ll be sitting with strangers. What’s worse is that the line wraps around a seating area. I saw children bumping into costumers who were trying to eat. I ordered a steak burrito and got chicken even after telling the preparer twice. My burrito had to be double wrapped because it couldn’t be closed making it difficult to bite into. No reason to return.

We were super excited for Chipotle’s eventual presence in NEPA. We moved here in August and were SHOKED at the absence of many big food chains, but held out hope knowing that Chipotle was just around the corner! Today marks the first of many visits! Now, first impression? Slow staff, lacking menu knowledge and no seating! I ordered the salad and had to tell the assembly people what is on the Chipotle salad. Yes, it happened… As did everything else in slow motion. I’m sure(and hopeful) that the crew will tighten up and the food will be up to par in no time. I’ll be back to check it out!

Chipotle in NEPA! yay. instant five stars for that. And five stars for sure compared to some of the other food choices in the surrounding area. Lines are long but everyone waited patiently without any issues. They closed early at 7pm the last two days due to the snow so call ahead if there’s snow to make sure they’re open.(I saw a poor family in the parking lot who was sad when they were turned away). They also didn’t have carnitas due to nation-wide shortage(at least according to the sign) but I’m sure they will eventually get it. They also ran out of chips but I guess the store is selling more than 300+ burritos a day and countless more of bowls/salads, etc, so you can imagine it may take a while for them to know how much to stock stuff. Otherwise, its your standard chipotle. Even with the terrible roads today due to snow, tons of people visited. I highly recommend to everyone in NEPA who’s never ventured out to Allentown or NYC for Chipotle to try it once. For those who have had it before, there’s nothing different about this place compared to any other place. I recommend trying the chipotle tobasco sauce, which I really enjoyed.
