Days Inn Dickinson TX

Our expuerience was certainty nothing special, but not as bad as other reviews. It deserves 2.5 stars but dont feel right This place was mostly clean and the most affordable hotel in the area by far. We prepaid on
based on price and tripadvisor reviews but had neglected to read reviews here so were horrified. This is kind of place that houses oilfield workers and traveling welders, not the luxury vacation set: basic but not too scary. They did try to put is in a smoking room, but we argued strenuously against it and got nonsmoking room 211. The bathroom needs updating but it didn’t stink of smoke.

BED BUGS
I stayed here last night and was woken up at 3 in the morning by my friend who was bitten by bed bugs. We took a picture of the bugs and even with that did not get a refund, only an offer for a different room. So we just drove to Galveston and slept in my car by the beach. We were staying in room 114.

STAY AWAY!!! Poor customer service. Indian run establishment. Requested 2 nonsmoking rooms. Manager sprayed room but you can smell the stink. Definitely was former smoking room. Requested 2 pillows Nick Patel, general manager, told me there was enough pillows in the room. Request denied. Bed was itchy, uncomfortable, suspect bed bugs.
