Applebee’s

I normally love Applebee’s but the last 2 times I have been there they have served me undercooked practically raw chicken. I am pregnant and don’t like the fact that I could possibly be harming my baby. Definitely never going back.

Tried to order off of the Dickinson Applebee’s menu online for car side to go. Ordered an item I’d gotten a month prior. Told «we don’t have that, please choose another item» by a Betty polite waitress in the phone. Told her I’d choose another item, and we’d call back with our new order. Called back after choosing another item. Told by a different wait person that they no longer have that item in a VERY SNOTTY TONE. I asked if there was a current menu online, and was told, «our online menu should be current!». Stated to waitress that it obviously wasn’t, as was told twice in 10 min they no longer have these items. She then got EXTREMELY RUDE, stating, «listen ma’am I’m new here and I don’t really have any idea what items are on the online menu and what items are not. If you LIKE, I’LL SIT HERE AND READ OFF THE WHOLE MENU TO YOU, WOULD THAT MAKE YOU HAPPY???»
I explained that would obviously not be necessary, and we’ll just come in and order off their menu there at the restaurant. She said, «Fine but you’ll have to pay and wait and later walk back in to pick up your food. I don’t have time to bring it out to you! «This is totally fine with me, I’m not opposed to going in a few times, but I am totally disgusted with this woman’s snotty, condescending attitude! I cannot believe they’d hire and employ such a spoiled sounding person given her job is 99% CUSTOMER SERVICE! I am extremely forgiving of people being busy and rushed at work and thus overlook a lot of borderline rude behavior when is clear someone is being stretched beyond their abilities at extremely busy times, but this was 9pm in a small town on a Monday,…she cannot have been all that busy. Just really gross attitude on this «new hire».

We normally aren’t fans of Applebee’s, but this is a fantastic location. The waitresses are always so nice. And our food has always arrived on time and delicious.

Server was nice but I was not visiting socially. Steak 9 oz sirloin was seasoned with this terrible tenderizer and extremely salty. Not prepared well at all almost tasted broiled and grill marks added as a finish. 30 minutes later and I still have a weird after taste. Will not go back, just thought I would give Applebee’s once again another chance. After all I needed to give the sushi a break from across the street. 3 days in a row would have been a bit much. Going home tomorrow !

Our server Goran is fantastic. Not only was he professional but was really on top of his job a true company associate.
From presenting appetizers, to entrée suggestions, sides, dessert and the gift card promotion.
If I could convince my mom to use a gift card at Applebee’s, I would have bought one from him.

Ordered Jack Double Sirloin medium. One was medium well, but still tender. The other was cooked to order. The sides were very good. For a non-​steakhouse, it was well worth the money. The place was packed, but the servers worked hard and dis a great job. If you want a high end steak, go to a steakhouse. If you have to eat within a budget/​per diem, this is a good spot.

Went in at 9pm for a late night happy hour on a Wednesday. Special was ½ off bottle of wine. Got a bottle for $ 8. Can’t go wrong with that. Alexandria was our bartender. Very easy to talk with. We are visiting from CO, which she had visited before. This place was hopping!

Anytime I go to Applebee’s, which is pretty rare… I have to get the ribletts. Their ribbletts have been a part of Applebee’s as long as I can remember. They were good, as usual. My biggest issue with this location is the smell. I don’t know if they just recently went away from being a smoking restaurant or what the issue is, but my table smelled like cigarette smoke. It was horrible. They did have a sign posted on the door that was a hand done sign saying that it was a nonsmoking restaurant making me think that the switch to nonsmoking was recent.

Had the Pepper Crusted Sirloin and a side Caesar salad. Ordered the steak medium rare, came out with no pink. Salad was not worth $ 3.99. Sat at the bar and felt very rushed. Probably due to me not ordering any alcohol. Bar lady even asked me to move over to make room for another person. Applebee’s usually is better. The one in the Heights in Billings, MT sure is!

If I could give a no star I would. The food is bad the drinks are bad. I wonder if they have ever heard that the customer is always right. The food is cold and is not right half the time.

We were a little weary after finding so many bad locations here in Dickinson ND. It seems like there is never any good service and the food is normally right there with it… better to be avoided. We were pleasantly surprised when we broke down and stopped in at Applebee’s because of a long road trip and we were almost home. In our mix of desperation we got our food to go since we didn’t want to run into the bad service we had experienced everywhere else. We ordered the american standard & triple bacon burger and the smells instantly got us curious of the soon to experience taste. Arriving home we quickly took our togo boxes out and as the lids flipped open our senses were greeted with a juicy delicious looking burger and still crispy fries that survived the short ride home. Biting into the burgers our visual senses matched the wonderment of taste buds adventure we just entered into. Applebee’s in Dickinson is actually doing a really good job with their food. We were impressed and will be returning each time we crave for a hamburger. This one is on the recommended list.

Last few times eating here was a complete disaster. Orders are always messed up and servers never speak very good English. The wait for food is beyond 30 mins. Very frustrating..

Nice staff. Food only average. Burger came overlooked with cold fries. Hope I don’t have to go again!!!

About the best thing I can say about is that it’s never put me in the hospital!
Insipid and bland are the words that best describe this place.
Ive dragged there several times and have yet to find something that felt it justified the purchase.
Try a little harder Applebees… I live in the oil patch without many options and I’m starting to think the chinese buffet that makes me cough up mysterious cat furballs, might be a better option

Good atmosphere made bad by a foul mouth table of Blue Hawk Audio video employees. Food is as to be expected from a chain restaurant which leaves me to comment about the service. Slow food is trendy in some parts of the country but not to be expected from a major player in the food industry. I know they use a lot of microwaves in their kitchen which doesn’t bother me. The fact that the sauce had thickened in my chicken penne frightens me though. Almost sent it back but after a long wait but being my only meal of the day I endured as best I could. Love the half price appetizers and desserts. Will try it again someday. I will expect better service and food next time.

Great servers and food!

Since there is not a good variety in Dickinson, Applebees is our go-​to restaurant because they are more consistent with service and food, than any other restaurant in town. We travel a lot and this Applebees is decent, and always accomodating for our young children when we go as a family.
We have gone there with a large group (about 12) and they put us in the bar where they have high tables and barstools… It was hard to sit at three round tables put together, and especially trying to accomodate children who needed booster seats or high chairs… Thats why they got 3 stars instead of 4.
