Just an update. I am the owner of a small home based business in Placerville. Cecil of Comfort Control disliked my review of their business so much that he felt compelled to lie with a comment about my business. «Infested with fleas…» Way to go Cecil. Proving why you are rated the way you are. This person, Cecil, has never even stepped foot in the door of my business. That’s pretty low… I hope you are embarrassed.

It has been so cold and my furnace stopped working. I called several Heating repair places and they all put me off for a few days. I told them that I had children but they wanted me to wait until later in the week. I called Comfort Control in Diamond Springs and they said they would have someone there by the end of the day. The technician came after hours and told me he would do all that he could to have heat for us that day. He worked for about and hour and he fixed it!!! Not only was it inexpensive, but he took the time to explain to me and my husband the issues that lead up to why it stopped working. He was thorough, professional, kind and knowledgeable. Thank you Comfort Control! And we appreciate the women in the office who helped us too!!!

I contacted my home warranty company and within an hour they were able to schedule me an appointment with comfort control. I was a little skeptical at first given some of the Unilocal reviews but I decided to continue on. I received a call from comfort control and was given a time window of when they would be here. The technician was running a little late but they communicated that through their office, which was nice. Upon arrival the technician/owner Cecil took his time to diagnose the issue. We were experiencing heating issues, with only cold air coming through the vents when we were requesting hot air on the thermostat. Cecil was able to locate the problem and procure the part at a warehouse and repair the issue in a matter of hours. I didn’t feel up sold in anyway, any sort of dishonesty or disrespect. Cecil was very professional and tended to the matter diligently to see that my pregnant wife was with great comfort in a warm house.

This company is the shadiest contracting company I have ever dealt with. There is nothing that could convince me that the entire company including the owner are out to over charge and work the customer for every dime they can get out of them. Their work is poor at best and the service technicians appeared to be unqualified.

One of the worst company’s I have ever dealt with. Rip off tells me it’s fixed when it’s not than wants to charge me again to fix something that was never fixed in the first place. The owner is a total ass++++.

This company installed a new heating & ac system in my home last year. Repeated calls to finalize the permit have been ignored. The only conclusion one can come to is that the install was substandard and not in accordance with city codes. In the process of filing complaints with State and City offices. How many lies can a contractor make to cover up their poor work a lot you would be amazed.

Insurance claim denied on a ductless AC system. Joe the tech attempted to revive. Spent quite a bit of time for a service visit. Excellent service an rep for company. Few days later my main system went out. I called CC and spoke with Donna who because of calls, gave me the earliest appointment available. Unfortunately I was going without for a few days. I explained to her the last tech, Joe lived close by. I was willing to if necessary pay an additional fee. Donna said fee wasn’t an option, however she would pass info over to Joe. Mid evening, I get a cell phone call. Joe is on the way. Until he told me he was Joe the AC guy I was thinking Who the hell is Joe? Sure enough Joe, figured out issue an went to work with his field bag. BAM! On goes the AC. Joe, provided some additional ideas an preventive measures to insure future operations. Joe is a credit to his company and a Vet. Thanks Joe, Donna an CC
