Omg … I can’t believe they let me wait almost 40 mins for the spicy chicken rice and vegetable and seaweed !!! There are only 4 tables of customers in the restaurant. Will not come back again…

First visit and had the rose milk tea and popcorn chicken with rice… The meal was OK. I prefer Lollicups popcorn chicken rice meal more. As for the rose milk tea… Pure heaven! I’m addicted to it already but at $ 5.25, Ill only be able to enjoy them occasionally. The service was perfect not like some other reviews.

Love the Taiwanese food here! Came for lunch, and ordered their pork chop rice lunch special combo. It came with a drink(I ordered black tea), salad(if you don’t want salad, they will upgrade drink to a size large), and the main entrée. The pork chop was juicy and delicious. The side dishes that day were bean sprouts and glass noodle with minced meat. Very authentic Taiwanese flavor. The food tastes very homey. Service was friendly. It’s a great little Taiwanese eatery that I will definitely return again.

Rude service, dirty environment. I came in, and asked what’s in the mixed stir in the combo, and I asked if I can remove pig ears in the dish. The lady responded loudly«we can’t, just order sth else. We make it all ready and fast, can’t change it. Take it or leave it» so rude and loud, and very impatient. She only greeted nicely to those she recognize, don’t come if u r new. The server doesn’t care.

My favorite place to go for lunch during work and even on weekend when I’m not working! They know what I want always, they know how I like it, and they are the nicest people ever. The wait time is a little long that I’d like bc I get hungry but it definitely is worth it. Food is ALWAYS fresh off the grill. YUM!

Came here to get a drink and scored on the daily buy one get one free! The BOGO of the day was orange green tea with aloe. I ordered the BOGO with easy ice and got my drink as ordered in less than 5 minutes. It was a very simple order and the lady even repeated the order and was quick! Will be back to try the food!

Small restaurant but very cozy. Beef noodle is unbeatable! Service is like you are a family. I love their shaved ice the best!

Above average price but below average food. Got lured by the 1st place Taiwanese beef noodle banner, but the actual taste is anything but. Popcorn chicken is bland, even after I put in lots of seasoning. I won’t be back, as there are plenty of Taiwanese restaurant in the Rowland Heights area.

I had the Popcorn Chicken with Rice. The chicken was not crispy but soggy. It tasted very bland. The minced pork over rice was alright. The restaurant was understaffed — only one waitress for a full restaurant so it took a while to get our order, waters, and check. Quantity over quality.

Lunch on Friday, 8÷14÷15 The name changed to Mimi 5 Bobee. It’s the same place as Mimi’s House though. Parking is fairly easy since it’s in a large parking lot with other stores. Seating varies depending on the time of day and day of week. It’s a small restaurant so expect a wait during peak hours. I like how they have daily specials for their drinks. Sometimes it’s buy one get one free or it could be a free upgrade from a regular size to a larger size. They also have lunch specials that serve one of their favorites, pork over rice. My usual is the beef noodle soup. I’ve tried other dishes too but lately, I haven’t ordered anything out of the ordinary. The beef noodle soup is just THAT good for me. Maybe I’ll try something else next time. There’s only one restroom and it’s not always clean either. The ambiance is casual with a fish tank and a TV for entertainment.

–Tomato beef soup is the best of all. I also like their fried fish cake. Over all the drink are all good as well, they do have special of the day for some of the drinks. Either bigger size for free or buy one get one free. But won’t be the normal drink of boba milk tea or normally u order. Some diff style or some fresh fruit of the day that the make juice. It’s more of Taiwanese style food, whenever I feel like Taiwanese food, I will come here for sure.

It may have just been a fluke, but the gentleman they hire at counter is extremely stupid and unprofessional. I ask for an upgrade to exchange my free black/green tea to a milk tea. He said the system didn’t allow. That’s understandable, so I told him, he didn’t have to make the free lunch drink and just charge me extra for milk tea, again he said the system didn’t allow. Regardless if your register system doesn’t allow, why don’t you input the drink, not make the free drink, and charge me a la cart on the milk tea? Ok i don’t blame people for being idiots, but he was extremely rude and spoke to me like I was a freaking idiot for not understanding what he said. To manager, please hire someone smarter and someone friendlier at your front counter. Put this stupid gentleman in the kitchen!

Stopped in for a pork stew with rice bowl because I was in the area. I was hoping it was similar to Ten Ren’s. Nope. My «pork» stew on top of rice was more like bamboo shoots with a little pork over rice. Didn’t even taste that good. Not sure if this is more authentic than Ten Ren but I still choose the latter. Will post a photo.

Been hearing recommendations for this place a lot, finally trying it out myself Great menu, it really satisfies a Taiwanese stomach with all the popular Taiwanese drinks and snacks, their beef noodle soup comes highly recommended! Though it’s nice n quite in the afternoon, doesn’t mean bad business at all. Their meals r also pretty bomb, even bomber with their reasonable prices~ service has been ok so far. Will be back more often !

Food: I had the beef stew noodle soup(supposedly award winning). Eh ok. I’ve had better. The taste of the soup is very muddled and unclear to me. I’ve had this in Taipei. This didn’t stack up. Plus the noodle is super soft at best… Not good. Atmosphere: think run down strip mall Asian plaza type places. It was fine. Though I don’t think id come here without someone wanting to come to eat. Also. Playing weird country like music in the background. Even more weird! Yeaaaa nooooo.

Always check their board for drink specials! Small little place in the plaza and on occasions there is a wait. Place is decent in lighting and a nice hang out spot. Good food and decent tapa style items to munch and share. The fried stinky tofu and popcorn chicken is worth getting. I love the beef noodle soup. They offer choice of thick noodle or thin ones. I would go with the thick if you are the type that like fettuccini pastas. Lunch have specials and always be sure to check the board for special items. Usually they have 2 drink selections that are buy 1 get 1 free. They also have 2 drink selections that are free large upgrades.

WORSTSERVICEEVER. SAVEYOURSELFANDGOSOMEWHEREFARFARAWAY. Came here for take out. Paid with cash and asked for a receipt. THEWAITRESSREFUSEDTOGIVEME A RECEIPT. WHATTHEHELL. I get it. If I pay with cash, it means you won’t have the record as part of the restaurant’s income, and therefore can avoid paying taxes for it. So no receipt = no record. So, I said I was getting take out for someone else. She stubbornly took out a pencil and paper, wrote the total on the piece of paper, and gave it to me. AREYOUKIDDINGME? THAT’S NOT A FREAKINGRECEIPT. Don’t want to give me a receipt? Fine, don’t expect my money ever again.
