Absolutely hands down the best spicy beef noodle soup I’ve ever had(I also added the tripe). I ordered the heat at #2 med. it was so flavorful and the meat was tender… What can I say” I WILLBECOMINGBACK.“ I have been looking all around for a place with good spicy soup and now I have found it. A must try you won’t be disappointed.

We came in for dinner on a slow weekend. Fast Service and clean place. There’s plenty of parking in a shared parking lot. Food is good and cheap. I will definitely come again. Def recommend if you like beef. I cannot wait to come back

Sometimes you just need Beef Noodle Soup. Its always good, spice level is sometimes unpredictable. The staff is a little slap-dash sometimes with the service, but do what is needed. Note that there is a bit of a steep minimum for credit cards. Last I checked it was about $ 20, not cool… but I like the beef noodle soup.

Last visit was a horrible experience! Service was slow and rude. We waited for our food for 30minutes after ordering. Other parties who came after us all got their food before us. We left hungry and disappointed. For our beef noodle fix, we went MiMi’s House instead and it was amazing!

This is a warning to my hesitant, I’m-OK-With-Spicy-But-I’m-Not-Obessed-With-It people: MILDISNOTMILD. MILDISMEDIUM-HIGHATLEAST. Also, most of their dishes are beef, which is a bummer, since my bf is allergic to beef but was also dying to try their signature noodles. So I tried it in his place, and destroyed half of my tongue in the process. Mild is a lie. A delicious, painful lie.

the flavor was good, the beef and tendon were both very tender! i don’t care much of the tripe so the next time i would just order beef/tendon. noodles were perfectly chewy — i finished them all! who cares about the carb! i don’t know how clean this place is though, overall it just did not feel very clean. a couple of fruit flies were on sight. when the guy brought my bowl of beef noodles to me, i did see that the tip of his thumb was touching my soup… =/i did not say anything, cus even if you tell them to bring it back, who knows if they are just gonna bring the same bowl back to you? business is good for a week night, people were still coming in around 9pm!

Spice heads, this place is for you. I had the bull demon king noodle soup level one, tofu appetizer, and milk tea. It’s a good thing I got the milk tea because the soup just about melted my face off! The tofu appetizer and milk tea were just as good as any of the other restaurants in town, but the noodle soup was levels beyond other spicy soups I’ve had. The soup has a pepper and minty spicy combined and delivers intense heat while remaining flavorful. If you like spicy soup, this place is a must try.

Probably one of the best Taiwanese beef noodle soup places I’ve been to in the area. It’s comparable to the stuff in Taiwan, but the soup is a bit less flavorful than what you’ll find in Taiwan. Still, I like the simple flavor and the heat. It was easy to appreciate the flavor of the broth. The thick noodles are recommended for the superior texture. Thick noodles also stay at the proper texture for longer, making the meal more enjoyable. I got the BDK Hell Beef soup noodles. The ghost chili warning scared me a bit so I only got #1, but I think I can handle #2 or even #3 since I finished my meal without having any water. The waiter asked me if I had ever had it before I was allowed to order it. Sounded like very serious stuff. 牛魔王 is a suitable name. The heat is pretty beastly for the uninitiated. You can’t slurp too quickly or else you might cough and sputter. Within the first minute, the familiar feeling of numbness from the endorphin rush began to wash over me like a warm tide, and all I knew was the bowl of fiery red noodle soup in front of me, the spoon in my quivering left hand, and the oily chopsticks in my right hand. These noodles actually required focus to eat. I found that I could not look around or speak while eating. I think I was on the verge of having mild hallucinations. Not talking in order to focus resulted in silence, which, in turn, led to an even keener awareness and appreciation of the flavors in the heavily-spiced broth and, of course, of the sublime heat itself. This isn’t just a food; this is a drug. I ate like a man possessed. I was sweating behind the ears but it was quite an enjoyable feeling, the body high. The throat-burning«edge» was cooked out of the spiciness and they definitely used a ma-la blend, so I didn’t have the same reaction I had when I chewed raw chili peppers. It was a subdued and solid numbing spiciness rather than a sharp and unpleasant spiciness, like an urge to scream rather than the scream itself. I’ve always been a bit of a masochist, so I rather enjoy the feeling of having to fight a little for every bite. I wish there was more meat, and it was my mistake for not ordering tendon like a real Taiwanese person, but I’ll be sure to make it right the next time I’m there.

I wouldn’t go as far as to say that this place has the best beef noodle soup, but it’s an excellent place if you love spicy food! I ordered mine with thin noodles at medium level of spiciness. That was already plenty spicy for me. The beef was good and so was the soup. They have their Bull Demon King(BDK) versions if you really can’t get enough of the heat! If you try to order any of them, the waiter will most likely double check to make sure that you know it’s really spicy. We also ordered their pig ear and cucumber appetizers. Both appetizers were good. We came in for dinner on a slow weekend. Service was quick and the waiters were also pretty helpful. There’s plenty of parking even though they share the parking lot with a bunch of other businesses and restaurants.

Being a Taiwanese beef stew noodle enthusiast(see my Unilocal list for my top picks and some other places I’ve tried), I of course have a special place in my heart for BDK, as they specialize in this beloved dish. I’ve been coming here on and off for the last two years, and I have to say it’s been pretty inconsistent, which is why it took me so long to rate it. But on my most recent trip here last week, I’m happy to report that the food and service has gone back up, so I’ll settle on 4 stars for the time being. Their menu is divided up into two sections. The top half offers different types of beef stew noodle dishes that you can customize, based on the types of meats(i.e. tendon, beef, tripe, etc.), the style of noodles(thin, thick, flat, etc.), and the level of spiciness(mild, medium, spicy, very spicy, etc.). And then… the bottom half of the menu basically has the exact same dishes, except they’re categorized as «BDK Hell Noodles» and the spice levels are divided up by numbers(1 through 4, with 4 being the most spicy). Although I love spicy foods, I’ve tried both the regular beef stew noodle(I usually just get #1 — medium spicy, with thin noodles) and the level 1 «BDK Hell Noodle» soup… and I actually prefer the former. They supposedly use some sort of special chili pepper to make the«Hell Noodles» extra spicy, but I honestly don’t really taste the difference, other than a slow burn that comes on as an aftertaste. I honestly don’t think it’s really worth all the extra dollars you have to throw down for whatever peppers or spices they’re using! They do have a challenge(think Man vs. Food style) if you’re into that sort of thing. My husband has been considering taking on the challenge, but because they’ve been so inconsistent over the years, he still hasn’t mustered up the courage to try it — since sometimes the«Hell Noodles» are truly outrageously spicy and other times, they’re almost as mild as the soups on the top half of the menu! Besides beef stew noodle, I really like the appetizers and drinks here. The pork rolls have a nice crispy bean curd skin that’s fried to perfection and comes served with a sweet sauce. I actually prefer these over traditional egg rolls! I’m also a fan of their green onion pancake. Even though it’s on the thicker side and the portion size isn’t that big, the pancake tastes really homemade and reminds me of my Mom’s. As for the drinks, I like to order the peach green tea when I’m looking for something more refreshing, or the taro milk tea when I’m in the mood for something more creamy. Overall, this is one of my go-to places for beef stew noodle whenever I have a craving! It’s a bit hard to find, but it’s located in the same plaza as a Big Lots and Jack in a Box, if that helps. They do serve a few other dishes, such as fried rice, but I have yet to branch out, considering beef stew noodle is their specialty!

Came here on a wed lunch with family around 1 and was very busy. The restaurant isn’t big but it was filled with people walking in and out for take-out and sit down. Our family ordered 3 full house beef noodle soup with thick noodles, and vegetarian mix. I had my full house beef noodle not spicy with thick noodles. As a native Taiwanese, I have to say I’m not an expert on beef noodle soup but I do know what a good one should taste like. Other than the ones my aunt made, this place prob the best one I had so far in America. Vegetable mix was just ok, they put a lot of sauce on top which might look really salty but it actually isn’t as bad as it looks. The full house beef noodle soup comes with beef(or course), tendon, and honey comb. The size is pretty big and they gave you a lot of meat and noodle. I could not finish the bowl by myself. The soup is a bit salty but still manageable. The beef, tendon and comb are pretty tender and not overly cook. I’m not a noodle person but their thick noodle is delicious! Ask for Asian sauerkraut, it pairs with the beef noodle soup nicely so it’s not too salty or greasy. If you’re a big fan or looking for a good beef noodle soup place, try this place out!

** Warning ** Would be a higher rating if I didn’t see one of the servers grab popcorn chicken that fell off the plate with her bare hands and then put it back on the plate to serve the customers. She was also mopping/cleaning before serving, and didn’t wash her hands in between. Absolutely disgusting. Okay, so after that mishap listed above, I was watching the servers like a hawk because if that happened to my food, I would be pissed /would not eat it, but it didn’t happen to me, so yay? We ordered the Beef Tendon & Honeycomb Noodle soup with thick noodles and medium spicy. Very standard beef noodle soup, nothing special. Stew Combination: A mixture of beef, tripe, bean curd, pig ear, in like a spicy soy sauce and it was definitely not worth it. Do not recommend at all. Fried Pork Chop Rice: The portion is HUGE. The pork chop itself was alright, but the amount of food you get on that plate definitely makes it worth it. Definitely not coming back, but only because I think cleanliness is a huge thing for restaurants.

I love Taiwanese food; there, that’s my statement for this review. :P No, I still have more to report. So, I looked at the logo for BDK, and when I see anything marked in RED, I knew a place like that was supposed to have something hot and spicy. And do you know what? They were right. I ordered the BDK fried rice, and for one person, it was pretty spicy for my palate. The rice was neither mushy nor dry, and the level of spiciness was a perfect [10] for me. The green milk tea was AMAZINGLY good, though I was surprised that they do not have the regular black-colored pearl boba, so I just ordered it plain without the boba. If you are in the mood for something hot and spicy, this is the place for you, but be sure to order a glass of milk tea, because, like I said, the heat level is pretty much off the scale(depending on what dish you order).

Found this little restaurant with beef noodle through Unilocal and decided to give it a try. Honestly, if you can’t take spice, you might want to reconsider this place… They have 8 levels of spice, but if you’re not sure what you can take, I recommend staying safe with mild. It’s A LOT spicier than most«mild» I normally get. Food: 1. Beef & tendon w/thick noodle($ 9.95)– I really liked how tender and chewy their beef and tendon were. The main problem I had was their spice level. I asked for MILD, but you can literally see a thick layer of numbing chili oil on top of the soup, making it unbearable and difficult to eat. If mild is deadly, I can’t imagine anyone trying their spicy challenge… 2. Ask for their sour green vegetable pickles on the side! Those go pretty well with the noodle and beef. Service: They’re decent. Slightly harder to wave them down, but they’ll come once you get their attention!

I’ve been wanting to try the beef noodle soup here since I saw such high ratings on Unilocal.I got the Full House medium spicy with thick noodles and my friend got mild. We also got a plate of the vegetarian cold dish. The bean curd and seaweed in the cold dish were congealed and stuck together– most likely a result of being in the fridge way too long. The soy sauce they used was also way too salty. Overall, very disappointing. The noodles came and wow… They were spicy. I’m not sure if the waiter misheard or what! My friend’s mild came with an additional pile of chili paste on top of his noodles. My medium was burning my mouth within 5 bites. Normally I eat spicy at soondubu places and other noodles shops, so not being able to handle the medium at all is not the norm. I couldn’t taste the broth much past the spiciness but it was just salty to me The tripe was also very off. Many pieces were tough and there was a taste to them. Don’t think they were very fresh. Overall disappointed and would not come back

We came here for lunch around 12:30pm on a Saturday and it was busy with a few tables opened. The parking was not a problem even though it was shared with other restaurants around. We were seated immediately near the front of the restaurant. This was a small but cozy restaurant. We came here specifically to try their Beef Noodle Soup since we heard it was good. I ordered the Beef Noodle Soup($ 8.95) with thick noodles and not spicy. My dad ordered the same thing but with thin noodles and a hot spicy level. The list of things to choose from were on the menu at the top. We also ordered a Fried Shrimp Rolls(5.95) and a Milk Tea($ 3.50). A lot of the items on the menu sounded good, but I didn’t want to order too much. The Fried Shrimp Rolls were pretty hot temperature-wise and tasted good. I don’t know what was in the dipping sauce, but it tasted very light in flavor. My Beef Noodle Soup was delicious especially the broth. The thick noodles weren’t as thick as I thought they would be but still good. My dad’s Beef Noodle Soup hot spicy level broth was tasty but caused me to reach for my Milk Tea. The hot spicy broth was a little bit too spicy for me. The Milk Tea tasted good to me. I like this place and would recommend it if you’re in the mood for some Beef Noodle Soup in the area.

I’ve had my fair share of Beef Noodle Soups, and Bull Demon has been one of the top ones in this area(Diamond Bar, Rowland Heights, etc.). I’ve only had the regular soup broth but it’s been delicious so far! Beef Noodle Soup — The beef flavor is prominent and they have the right amount of saltiness to the soup. I hate when it’s watery and bland. It’s a good portion and will definitely fill your belly! The beef is nice and tender and I like how you can choose which types of noodle: thick, flat, or thin! I like the thick noodles best here because it has a nice chew to it. I’ve gotten the spicy level HOT both times and it’s actually not that hot. but can get quite oily. But the oils do stick to the noodles and I found that eating just the noodles was spicier than drinking the soup! Extra spicy /challenge — Their really spicy broths are more of a mala flavor and are supposed to be KILLERRRR. So beware! I want to just try their level 1 but I think I need to prep my stomach for that. ONIONPANCAKE — NO, NO, NO. What is this??? There were barely any onions and had NOFLAVOR to it what so ever. I love onion pancakes, but I only took a bite of theirs and was over it! SHRIMPROLL — this app was actually pretty good and had a decent amount of shrimp in their skinny roll lol POPCORNCHICKEN — good typical taiwanese popcorn chicken I think I’m a bit stuck on their soup because I’ve had it twice in a span of 2 weeks.

The name of this café is a little bit on the mean side and I’m not really sure why it is called that but maybe it is because the portion size is gigantic and the spicy noodle soup that you could potentially order is seriously super spicy in a good way! Don’t worry if you aren’t really into things that are spicy you can personally order it to not be. So you have choices and options when you arrive here. Came here during dinner time on a weekday and this place was actually pretty busy. It is a small store but we still got seated here. So that was good. I was craving some beef noodle soup so that is how we ended up here in the first place. The order came out really quick and I was surprised at how large the bowl was. I wasn’t expecting it to be that big at all! I don’t know why but I still get amazed at how big portions are here in the USA because if you go back to Asia and actually see the portion size over there, it is on the smaller side. Either way I can’t complain because the noodles were amazing and the soup was just enough spice for me. Beef was tender and soft and mixed well with everything. Enjoyed every minute of this meal and the service was quick. I’d say if you live anywhere close to here and you want to try and see how spicy you can take it maybe you should eat here. :)

Was back in my old hood on Sunday after checking out the trail up at the community center. The whole time in the back of my mind was saying to myself«boy, shredded cold noodles sounds really good about now!» Then I wondered was that northern Taiwanese joint by Alberstons still there? I checked Unilocal of course ;-) Nope not there! Let me ask my friend JC. BDKC is what she say. Looked it up. Saw the pics and was on my way. Took a seat and straight away said I’m ready. Noodles came along with my mango tea. Peanut and sesame sauce on the side. I poured it on and within no time a heaping plate of food was gone :-) I could probably eat this everyday! Thanks Jules C. Love coming back to DB! Parking is always so easy!
