Food: Very tasty soup. Also good middle eastern wraps. Lots to choose from. Price: Good! A medium soup was less than $ 5. Also had crackers, spoons, and napkins to go. Service: It’s pretty busy during lunch but they are always quick and friendly. Overall: One of my go-to places for a quick and cheap lunch!

Yeah no. Just don’t. This is the worst of three restaurants in the 150 W. Jefferson Building. They add water to their soups, have a deli menu that makes you think their food is fresh and then they give you something old that was sitting in the cooler. I ordered a Caesar salad. It was five dollars and have nothing but lettuce, cheese and croutons. No chicken, no anchioves and no fresh dressing. It came in a packet. It also had carrots. Who puts carrot on that kind of salad. Not fresh, overpriced and generally not good. The one nice thing is they are open early in the morning for breakfast, but you can get breakfast anywhere. There is also a terrace patio thing you can eat on, which is nice.

I was in Detroit for the day and didn’t have time for a traditional lunch. I was told to try the Terrace Café and I’m quite happy I did. I had a Chicken Caesar wrap($ 4.95), a bowl of chili and a banana for $ 9.96. The food was very fresh and nothing was skimped on(the chicken wasn’t fatty or dry). I really liked the selection and would be inclined to eat there the next time I’m rushing through Detroit. They also had breakfast items and various coffee/tea drinks. For a niche café crammed into the first floor of a building it was the perfect amount of bang for the buck.
