Best fried chicken in Detroit. Maybe the best in the world? The prices are unreal cheap and the amount of food you get is straight up ignorant. More people need to know about this place! Number one baby.

Every time I come to Detroit, I have my husband take me to Nu Wave. I love their fried shrimp. The prices are reasonable and I love the flavor. The put lemon pepper on mostly all of their food which is fine and gives it that extra kick. Their fish is good as well. I like their chicken, but the wings are a little small. So, if you are in Detroit and you see a Nu Wave… stop in.

I love this location! Food is always hot and ready when they say it’s ready. The cook and waitress are both friendly and they always add extra seasoning to the food. I drive from Ypsilanti on days when I want delicious food and great service
