Nicky D’s Coney Island

I normally always go to this Coney Island because they are convenient and they are good. But the staff always have attitudes and lately they have been messing up my order, but last night was the worse smh I am not ever going there again! I’m going to TJ’s down the street!

It’s decent food, but one day I found a fat fly, in my salad. It was disgusting. Never went back there again. But the food was nice while it lasted.

I highly recommend! Make sure you get a slinger on rye or onion roll. The corned beef is so fresh. The coleslaw and thousand island dressing make the sandwhich. I always add a fried eggs on there too. Must try

Definitely are better coney islands. I ordered a Coney Island, when I got home and checked my order they gave me a coney dog on a slice of wheat bread. I can’t patronize such a ghetto location. If you don’t have hit dog buns, say that. I don’t eat wheat bread, and I don’t eat hot dogs on slices of bread. Along with my hot dog on a wheat bun (that I plan on throwing in the trash) they served me the saltiest chilli cheese fries I’ve ever had in life. Today was my last trip to this restaurant.

I am so blown away by this place that I had to add it to Unilocal as this location was not on here. Seriously, who would have thought that a little coney island in Detroit off 8 Mile Rd would have the best chicken sandwich ever? I’ve tried a lot of chicken sandwiches, and I wish they’d open up a location in Waterford where I live. I’ve only had one thing (chicken club add swiss)…but I’ve had it three or four times in the last week now that I work down there, and it has been just as amazing each time. I’m somebody that normally drenches their chicken sandwich in ketchup… and this thing is so good I use little to no ketchup on it. Seriously. I am not exaggerating. This is the best chicken sandwich I’ve ever had. I got a side salad here, too… but was disappointed by the high price and wilted lettuce. Their ranch is awesome, though.
