Nope nope nope nope and nope! It got would have gotten a one star but their breakfast is the only good thing. My friend and I came here and ordered a lot and disappointed. We split an opa but gave it back because the cheese actually smelled like puke, must have been old. The fries were soggy and the coneys/lemon rice soup taste way better at Leo’s and Greek Islands. Same as the greek salad, side note Greek Islands actually makes their own greek dressing and once you have it you will never be able to settle for another coney islands greek dressing. Just go to a different coney.

We always order to go and eat at home, This time we ate at the restaurant. I ordered a Blue Moon and had just about finished it with my meal when the owner came over to chat and gave me another one for free! This place is wonderful and everyone is friendly and the food is always fantastic at good prices!

Today my husband and I sat in instead of ordering out. We had the best service. One of the owners came and said hello. He saw my husband drinking a then went and got him one on the house.

Went here for breakfast before work with a co-worker. Service was bad, food was worse. Both him and I had stomach issues the rest of the day. I had an omelet that was more white than yellow. I hate that. The hash browns were about as bad as it gets. I need to find a decent place for breakfast in Livonia.

You can’t go wrong… great breakfast, luch or dinner. I highly recommend the coneys. Crisp fries and fresh ice tea.

I like it here for breakfast. It’s kinda expensive for a coney island but the quality is good. Once I ordered a steak medium well and had to send it back because it was bloody. It came back perfect. It is crowded in the morning but it’s never a wait. They serve beer and wine.

I have only had this place 3 times so I’m not to experienced with Koney Island Inn yet. I love their burgers! So big and juicy. I have not eaten inside so I don’t know about the service, but the inside is clean and always has a decent amount of people inside when I go in. The staff greets you when you walk in and they are always smiling. I plan on trying their coneys next.

I go back to the 60’s with the KII when they were in Livonia Mall. Descended from the Keros family who started the first Coney Islands in downtown Detroit, they have carried on the tradition even after having to move when the Mall was ripped down to make way for another… WalMart. Their coneys are as good as ever. Their Greek salad dressing is still my favorite. Leo’s is too sour and Kerby’s is good too but KII dressing still is my choice. Keep up the good work. Opa!

Good food great people. A very nice place to enjoy a casual dining experience. Breakfast, lunch and dinner. They serve bet and wine too. Nothing like a bud light to go with you coney dog and fries.

Stopped in for a salad. The girl doing to-go orders answered the phone while I was standing in front of her. She wasn’t taking an order, she was talking to someone about their schedule. When she was finally ready to take my order, she had a STANK attitude. Took my order & totaled it w/o asking if I wanted anything else. I had to ask if I could order a damn lemonade. If ur attitude is stank, stay home!

Growing up near Livonia mall, I remember going to the original Koney Island Inn. It USED to be quite the spot for a burger and fries. It also WAS great for a quick bite while shopping. The new location, is far from being great for a quick bite. Came in for breakfast and you are better off going to a corporate coney island. The water tasted dirty, the restaurant smelled like cleaning agents, and the food was sub-par.

Its what to be expected from a coney island. Cheap food with cheap quality. Service is good but thats about it.

We eat here regularly! The food is good, service is pretty speedy, and the prices are reasonable! This is the coney that used to be in the now torn– down Livonia Mall. Same owners, and they even work the floor! Highly recommend!

While we were waiting several parties were seated ahead of us that arrived after us. We assumed they were regulars and familiar with the owner/manager. One woman walked in and when my wife said we had been waiting before her, the woman exclaimed«some people are so rude.» After we were seated we noticed everyone in our vicinity had drinks but no food. These people had been seated before we arrived. In the 7 or 8 minutes we sat at a table no one came over. So we left. There were people waiting for to go orders that were there when we got there and were still waiting when we left. We drove up to Leo’s and had our food before most people here probably had the chance to order. I don’t think we’ll go back. Didn’t seem to offer anything any different than any other coney in the area. Except longer waits, rude patrons and weird atmosphere. Maybe it was just an off day?

Not coming back here… Did not offer anything for vegans other than the fries They had a garden burger but the waitress did not know what was in it(did not bother to check either) I also asked if there was egg or milk in the bun and she confirmed without actually checking… Would not recommend eating here if you are vegan/vegetarian. On a side note they were playing kitchen nightmares on the tv. Not exactly a nice thing to watch while you are trying to eat.

Went in here expecting a hot dig joint, instead found a nice greek/american food diner. It serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. Had the chicken kabob plate with rice and grilled mixed vegs. The chicken filled the entire kabob stick and was tender and tasty. Also had a side of spinach pie, which was enormous and very tasty. We thought about the good looking desserts but alas we were too full. And we took home enough for lunch the next day!

I had been driving around with the fiancé, and we were both in bad moods as we were seriously hungry and tired and just wanted something cheap. We came to Koney Island Inn because it fit the bill, and it was easier than bickering! The service was quick and our server was friendly. The place is new, and very very clean. I would go back, especially when I am in a pinch.

Hubs was nice enough to order in breakfast for us, this a.m. I LOVE a good Gryro/Greek omelet, but this fell short. It had all of the right ingredients, but way way small portions of gyro. For the size of the omelet, there needed to be much more added, rather than the few bits stuffed in the center. I also don’t like the feta served on top. Most places fold everything into the center or into the whole omelet. The eggs were a little on the over done side(browned flakes and rubbery/chewy taste. This was served with a side of hashbrowns. It was a sparse serving and definitely were very very bland(no salt, butter.)frozen flavor. The toast was perfect. :) I will definitely give this place another chance for other items on the menu.

Nice coney… Clean inside with enough parking outside of course because the shopping center. Staff is always checking to make sure everyone is fine; a little annoying after while but it’s still great service. They are currently now serving beer and wine — this is the first for me ever seeing coney island serve that.
