Best Pizza around. Great crust and good toppings selection. Reminds me of the great pizza joints in Connecticut.

My bestie and I visited this establishment on a Tuesday evening, no crowd, no wait! The place was quirky, I didn’t expect to see the ceiling covered with $ 1 bills, however it made the visit more interesting! We started with some amazing boxty’s(fried mashed potato balls with cheese) and they were served piping hot. Delicious! We ordered a large pizza with pepperoni, Italian sausage, mushrooms, onions, and jalapeños and it was amazing! The ingredients tasted fresh, definitely not a Digorno! This place is a must try!

If you like a thick, toppings-heavy pizza, this is your place. The sauce is sweet and the crust chewy. A large is more than enough for two people. A small is plenty for two if you’re not super hungry or if you get an appetizer. Speaking of which, we got the fried raviolis and they were filled with very tasty Italian sausage. Choosing toppings is very difficult, especially since they don’t offer any default combos but you wont regret going for the Prime Rib or Cajun Sausage. If you’re looking for a unique suggestion, our favorite creation was a Surf n Turf pizza– Mozzarella, Prime Rib, and Shrimp with white sauce. Our other pizza was Mozzarella, Cajun Sausage, Pineapple, and Smoked Ham with red sauce. I usually like pineapple on my pizza but the thick uncut rings are too overpowering here so I would avoid it next time. The sausage came as huge slices as well, but they were a lot easier to tackle. The tiramisu is a very nice and light end to the meal, but even if you’re stuffed from pizza its hard to share! It was nearly dead in here when we went, kinda felt we were in a covert hideaway, one of Destin’s best kept secrets. It was fun.

On vacation back in November, tried out this place and the pizza was great. There is plenty of good quality meat on the pizza. The Cajun sausage was great.

If they had this joint in my local down It would become a tradition to eat here. We ordered the pizza to go after a long day of fishing and I’m glad we did. The pizza sat in the trunk for 15 minutes before we attacked it… The pizza was huge, somewhat thin crust, large toppings, great sauce, well worth the $ 20.00 purchase price. We also tried the artichoke cream cheese dip, it didn’t fair as well in the commute to our condo. Parking can be tough in this place, come with patience.

Um what? I thought this was gonna be good pizza, but if anything it was just ordinary. I am here for a month from New Haven so I have a lot to compare it to, however I wasn’t expecting too much. I thought it looked good in pictures but don’t be fooled; it’s thick and just like Greek pizza. The amount of toppings and stuff is nice, staff very friendly; but would not return cause the pizza.

My husband and I were more than skeptical about trying this pizza place only because we assumed it could not live up the McGuire’s Pub standards; after all, McGuire’s is Irish… pizza is not. We have pretty high standards for pizza anyways because of a local true Italian joint close to our home. Vinny McGuire’s Pizza couldn’t possibly be as good, right? WRONG!!! This is by far the best pizza we have ever tasted! Not only was it the largest pizza we have ever devoured, but the giant pepperonis and fresh prosciutto made it taste like it actually descended from Heaven. With that being said, the atmosphere could not have been better either. The inside scene was perfectly set! Giant posters of 1940’s mobster movies covered the walls(in all Italian writing), along with the sounds of old Italian music playing in the background to make it feel like you were back in time sitting next to the mafia eating pizza. And the service was phenomenal! We had zero complaints about the entire experience and make it a point to go at least twice every time we are in Destin(which we never do while on vacation). My honest opinion… the best pizza AND experience, hands down!

Great pizza and good amount for price. We bought two pizzas: one had pepperoni, hamburger, and Canadian bacon, second one had Canadian bacon, pepperoni, pineapple, and italian sausage. Both were delicious! Canadian bacon is huge and sliced thin. Same with pepperoni. Cheese was great and so was sauce. WAY better than most pizza. We’ll be back!

Here on vacation and was very pleased with this pizza. They do not deliver and when I went to pick it up there was a very large crowd and a crowded parking lot so be careful during the dinner rush. The pizza itself was delicious and they made it exactly how we ordered it(thin crust). The next morning I had it and it heated up very nicely, I will be going back on this trip! Thanks McGuire’s!

You will not find better pizza in this part of the world. I waited a long time to try Vinny McGuire’s because I erroneously looked at it as a side project of McGuire’s proper. I failed to take into consideration that whatever this establishment endeavors to do, it does so full steam ahead. With that said, the service was excellent and the ambiance on par with what you would expect in a cozy pizza eatery, right down to the vintage Hollywood movie posters adorning the walls — the Italian versions, mind you. «Il Buono, Il Brutto, Il Cativo»(«The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly) was one of my favorites. The pizza was surprisingly excellent. They serve it New York Style: Crisp, buttery crust with that hint of singe on the bottom, letting you know that the pie was placed directly in the oven and not on some conveyor belt. The red sauce was tangy but not overwhelming. The sausage, pepperoni and beef were deli and butcher quality. And the cheese? It was everywhere. By the end of the meal it was in my hair, on my shirt collar, and slathered all over my face. You like high quality mozzarella and provolone that stretches from pan to plate and begs to be cut with a pair of scissors? Try one of these pies. I’ve eaten pies in NYC, Chicago and the North End of Boston. McGuire’s holds its own. Again, you won’t find better pizza down in these parts.

Delicious PIZZA. Out of the park. I’m so glad we Are picky with pizza. Their homemade Marinara sauce makes anything they sell so delish. It’s savory, it’s nothing I’ve tasted before. Brandon our waiter was so helpful in giving us menu ideas. And telling us the history of McGuire’s and all the dollar bills made us feel right at home. Great quiet atmosphere. Nice dim light place made it so homey. Definitely a place we will come back too. Highly recommend. Ask for BRANDON. He’s awesome.

We were intending on going somewhere else but traffic was all backed up and pulled in here instead and I’m glad we did. I would rank this place in the top three pizza places my husband and I have tried and we eat a lot of pizza! The greek salad was fresh and easily split between two people. The pizza was very good. The crust was nice and thick but done. I thought my husband ordered extra cheese there is so much on it and a good portion and pieces of meat. I love the décor and don’t forget to put your dollar on the wall!(Very cool idea).

So on a hot summer’s night with high season crowds this place seated us immediately… the waitresses worked together as a team to meet our every need. Leah kept me cooled down with a always filled pint glass of IPA and the pizza was as good as it gets. It was flawless… must have great management!

We grabbed a pizza and couple glasses of wine here and it was awesome. Good service and the pizza was amazing. It had a nice crispy crust, lots of tomato sauce flavor and they house smoke all their meats. We had some bacon on our pizza which was my favorite part of the pizza for sure! You get to create your own pizza. Which is fun, but I do like when places have suggested favorites.

We are extremely picky when it comes to pizza, but Vinny McGuire’s was spot on. You choose between white or red sauce, pick your cheese, then get three toppings on the pizza. Then additional toppings are $ 1.00 each. We went with the red sauce, provolone cheese, and a pepperoni, bacon, and mushroom combo. They smoke the bacon onsite and it is phenomenal. The crust was perfect as well. Thin, but not too thin and it stayed crispy on the bottom despite the pizza being loaded up with toppings. Also since the place is owned by McGuires you can soak up some of their brews while you enjoy the pizza.

Perfect pizza — seriously! It’s thin crust — crispy on the outside but just enough chewy on the inside. Lots of cheese — perfect sauce. They take great care with all of their topping choices. Most everyone who visits Destin stops at McGuire’s to eat. There’s a building to the left of the main restaurant that you’ve probably glanced over. That’s Vinnie McGuire’s and if you’ve never tasted their pizza, you’re missing out! My only complaint — the music is way to loud. ;)

First trip to Destin and my family and I have been going on a spree of restaurants on Unilocal(Probably not good for our health). After going to McGuire’s Irish Pub(Which was fantastic by the way), we decided to get take out at their pizza restaurant right next door. I mean it MUST be good if McGuire’s name is associated with it, right? You walk in and it looks run down… Kind of creepy actually, luckily we were getting take out. Money on the ceiling everywhere just like the Irish Pub next door. About 20 bucks for a large pizza. And when I say large, the thing is GIANT! We got a Pepperoni, prosciutto, pineapple pizza. 8 slices that fed 4 of us. I was full after the 2nd one, tried scarfing down a 3rd one, but failed miserably. They don’t cheat you on toppings. Especially with the pineapples… Gave you rings of those, and for someone who loves pineapples, it was great! I thought it was delicious, but my family members thought it «ok». Not a place I see myself craving in the future. Thankful I got to try something new though.
