Really good sushi and right on the scenic highway. If you don’t like sushi then get the pizza!

Overpriced for off season. Grouper was 32.00 for a small piece. Came with plain basmatti rice and steamed broccoli. Nothing on either broccoli or rice. The rib eyeswe’re 26.00 and came with a fried potato cake(tasted like frozen boxed) and some type of Brussel sprouts sautéed with peppers. Not very tasty. There was no salad or bread. The steaks were tasty but when they came to the table they were luke warm. They comped one bread pudding for the cold steaks. If I am going to spend that kind of m9ney it should be much better. Service was just alright but staff was very slow to bring food out.

Love love love this great local resto! Between the fresh(and local!) seafood, sushi, gumbo, and drinks at night and the coffee and fresh juices during the day, coupled with that beautiful view and friendly staff. Def my favorite beach hangout.

Awesome food, great environment, a bit loud, but was fun. The restaurant is upstairs, and possibly had the best sushi the wife and I have had here in the states.

This is a secret! Wonderful food and service with a humble entry way. My dish was the Scallops and shrimp= AMAZING!!! The sauce(Brown butter with squash purée) had so much flavor and goodness my taste buds could not handle it in one sitting, so I took half of it home.

We started dinner with the Carl’s Seasonal salad… it wouldn’t fill up a 4 year old. $ 9 for a small plate of oily spinach and two slivers of apple. Huge disappointment. Shrimp and grits were fine, grits pancake was burnt. Sushi rolls were good, nothing exceptional. For the hype, it was a big let down. Won’t return.

Had the shark and potatoes but the star of the plate was the grill smoked broccoli. Who knew a simple technique could be oh so good. Its always a packed house but the service is good and the food enjoyable. Great seating and free valet parking is a plus. Was impressed that a place that does not call themselves japanese or sushi house had good sushi.

I came on Saturday and got some food to go for lunch. The pulled pork sandwich with the white BBQ sauce was so tasty. My wife got the Sriracha turkey sandwich which was also delish. On top of the great, freshly made sandwiches I got their tasty red and white sangria to go(in sealed, plastic containers) to take back to our nearby condo. Breakfast this morning(sausage, egg, and cheese tacos) was awesome as well, and you can’t beat the open storefront that is literally right across the street from Crystal Beach!

Excellent service. They restaurant is small, but quaint. I think because it’s off the main drag of Destin it wasn’t slammed; even on Labor Day weekend. We were seated relatively quickly even on a Friday at 7. Positive: The gumbo entrée was beautiful and perfectly seasoned. The sushi was fresh. The bread pudding desert was excellent. Negative: The ginger dressing on the salad needed to be cut a bit more with vinegar.

Amazing food. Been coming to Destin for years but just found this place. Will be back every time. Try the scallops and shrimp w/butternut squash if its on the menu. Has the amazon and black dragon sushi rolls and they’re great too.

Great place for sushi! Outside appearance of restaurant is deceiving! Seems like a good place for locals. On the night we were there, it was very loud at first but the food, drinks and wonderful service trumped the noisy folks! Will definitely be returning to Camille’s!

It’s more like 21⁄2 stars. A fine place, with friendly service but our meals did not come close to living up to the hype. Fishy tasting Nigiri is kind of a deal killer. Other apps were Meh’ The décor is straight off the«that 70’s show set»

NOTE: Some of these reviewers have reviewed for Camille’s sidewalk café — not Camille’s, the upstairs Restaurant. The sidewalk café is not nearly as amazing as the restaurant. Camille’s restaurant is a hidden Destin gem! They have a separate sushi bar and the sushi is always fresh and delicious! I also always get the gumbo! It’s delicious!

We ate here last night and it was amazing! The sushi is phenomenal. It was our first time here and we will go back. Read on the menu that on Wednesday’s its $ 2 off sushi rolls.

Seventies ski lodge décor. High prices. Sushi bar manned by some beach bums. Fanastic food! Super friendly staff. Fun locals at the bar. Loved the sushi and loved the entrees. The sun dried tomato grouper was bursting with flavor and the shrimp and grits were weird and totally unexpected but I couldn’t stop eating them. Very crave worthy. Also The gumbo is full of seafood but lacking in flavor. Slight disappointment.

We,(me and girlfriend) liked it here. Right around the corner from where we were staying and it was inexpensive. On the main drag where its slow and across from the public beach access. We only got coffee every morning and she occasionally had something for breakfast. It was a nice break from where we are from. Its got that hometown feel or that place that everyone lived at 30 plus years ago. Everyone was nice back then and this is that place. When we come back to Destin, i wanna stay near here again. Thanks

Camille’s is a perfect place to have a simple, affordable, and homemade breakfast on vacation. The breakfast sandwiches at the sidewalk café are so delicious that we had to come back again before we left to have them one more time! I had a bagel sandwich with bacon egg and cheddar cheese. The bagel was very soft and perfectly toasted. The cinnamon rolls are great too. it was very peaceful to start our mornings here and watch the lifeguards roll out.

My review is based, mostly, on the ambiance at Camille’s — we went for a mimosa and cronut(croissant donut) our last morning there. It’s a hopping place for coffee, morning cocktails, smoothies, pastries and simple breakfast items. The service was awesome — very high energy. It was just nice to see people popping in, right off the beach(dogs are welcome too). I’m now interested in checking out Camille’s for dinner! Loved the mimosa — my daughter loved her breakfast sandwich but I can’t say that I was a fan of the cronut. A little too tough.
