My wife and I enjoyed both breakfast and dinner at the restaurant. The food was great and the service was exceptional. The prices are reasonable and the atmosphere is very nice and we look forward to going back!

It’s ok but when I showed them the gigantic roach on the wall and the bar tender said: «don’t worry about it» I was like WTFFFFF!!! He literally said that!!! Holy what??? Then(minutes later he sent the female waitress out to deal with it. NOCLASS I DONTCAREWHAT their food is like at that point. This place would get 1 star if it wasn’t for the really kind waitress that dealt with the roach and apologized.

The hours listed on Unilocal are a bit deceiving. The bar is open every night from 5 – 10 pm, but the restaurant/kitchen is only open Friday-Sunday nights. It’s also open for breakfast for a couple of hours on Saturday and Sunday. My wife and I stayed at the Aqua Soleil Hotel and had dinner at the Kafe Bar on a Sunday night. I ordered the«Aqua Dip», which was a French Dip style burger. It’s basically a hamburger patty served on a roll with a side of au jus. A little odd but it was really good! The wifey ordered a burger as well and liked it. We shared a mango margarita and that was also really good. We came back on Monday night for more margaritas and enjoyed the company of some really drunk hotel guests.

Kafe Bar. Because it’s a café, and a bar… brilliant! This place was such a great find! I had eggs florentine and breakfast potatoes(my favorite dish) and my companion had banana bread French toast. Both dishes were wonderful!

Came in here while on vacation, and I ordered the grilled ham and cheese. Pretty hard to mess up right? Somehow they found a way, it was barely warm, cheapo Wally World meat with one slice of American cheese, and they didn’t even melt it. The fries were more like baked potatoes; they were severely undercooked, I basically ate a whole potato chunk. Wife ordered the LA hot dog. I guess placing a piece of bacon ONTHEBUN compares to what a little old lady can do with her ghetto street cart. Nothing like anything else I have ever tasted. The«grilled peppers» were raw. The only bright spot was the service. Our waitress was kind; however, I find it hard to believe that she really thought we would enjoy what she brought out on our plates.

Low key bar with good drinks! Jerick and Jennifer were very nice and attentive. The food was good. I had the summertime basil burger I would have like the sauce to be on the burger not just infused but it was still decent. I also had the mango strawberry margarita. The drink was big, strong and delicious. Very clean and a lot of parking.

Decided to try this place and definitely won’t be coming back. First we place our orders I order easy breakfast and my husband orders huevos rancheros. The waitress returns and says the owner was out buying tortillas. Asked him to order something else. So he orders what I order. Bacon, eggs. Hash browns toast. Well let’s just say the toast was good. We asked for medium well and over easy eggs they gave us well done eggs(fried) and potatoes were nasty in oil everything was cold. I’m not one to complain so we ate our toast and drank our coffee then left.

Went in after a comedy show in town on 3÷29÷15. Great friendly service. It was late and not that busy. Didn’t make us feel rushed. Told us about the 50% off burger deal. So we took advantage of that! For sure we will be back! No doubt! I had 2 vodka tonics and the hubby had draft beer.

I’m really loving this place! Jennifer(and Jerrick) at the bar have been incredible. And the bar is beautiful! Jennifer even offered to bring up our food in the morning if we can’t wrangle the kids in time for breakfast. I’m enjoying a well made(and well earned) margarita and will soon retire to the room that Tracy at the front desk made sure was perfect for us!

Great food and excellent service. We had a banana bread French toast made from scratch it was absolutely delicious, hash browns perfectly seasoned. Jasmine was our server and David was our cook, they were not only super nice and accommodating but they made us feel welcomed with there sincerity and genuine passion for what they do… to top it off great music that was soothing to your soul… they get two thumbs up from my baby and I

Go see Jerick and ask him to make you a mango strawberry margarita with tajin. Yum! We ended up coming back the next night for another one. We stayed at the hotel and wandered into Kafe Bar when we got thirsty and hungry, so glad we did. The prices really can’t be beat, especially for a hotel restaurant and bar. They have happy hour every day, a pool table, shuffle board, and patio seating. The food is delicious and the seasoning they put on their fries and potatoes is perfect. The waitresses were really nice and attentive and the bartender was hilarious and knew his stuff. Next time we stay at Aqua Soliel, we’ll be visiting Kafe.

We had a delicious breakfast here, which includes a bacon flight. Coffee was good, and there were o.j. refills. I really like the mod décor here also.

Was there for breakfast. Super random sort of place and crowd. Coffee and smoothie were mediocre. Huevos rancheros was pretty good, would have benefited immensely from the addition of some avocado or guac, particularly at its $ 12 price point.

Found this place using Unilocal… I live in the city and never knew it was here. Very tasteful and well stocked bar(large variety of beers). Free to use pool table and shuffle board. The food was good but the fries are amazing! We ordered the fried calamari, wings and fish and chips. The service was good. Air conditioned patio near the pool was pretty appealing. Going to start using this local bar to watch football when the season starts.

When you think of great combinations, nothing fits better than drinks and dessert. Unless you are being served by Stephanie, who’s loud abrasive tone and voice is like nails on a chalkboard. Left your I.D. in room? Have an expired ID? Have no fear, she’ll serve you anyway. The bartender will even half blend the ice for you so you can suck ice into your straw or drink large chunks of ice. Dessert is limited, but the Sundae is good and hits the spot on a warm evening. The deep fried cheesecake is a joke. It tastes like a bad banana split(if you can even imagine that) and has a nasty strawberry topping. Whoever came up with that dish needs to dig deeper into their culinary soul and come up with a better way to execute that dish. Would I come back here? No.

We had breakfast at the Kafe Bar… prices were reasonable, portions were generous, and the service was good. I wish they had a better selection of coffee… but otherwise, it was a nice ending to a stay at the hotel. I had the oatmeal while my friend had the pancakes. Give this place a try if you are in the desert… looks like they have a nice bar selection if that is more up your alley.

Because we were staying at the hotel this café is a part of, and we had a nifty coupon as part of the Groupon deal that got us there, we had to try this little restaurant out. It was supposed to be a nice start to the weekend(the menu looked pretty good) and it ended up making us feel awkward and wanting to get the heck out of there. Pros: good drink selection, a perfect-sized menu where there aren’t an overwhelming amount of options but enough to keep it interesting. My boyfriend really enjoyed his barbecue burger and liked that they mixed the sauce into the meat. They also gave me my drink to-go in a plastic cup so I could enjoy it by the pool when we were done with dinner. Unfortunately my fries were really greasy and literally just in a small pool of oil on my plate when I got them. The taste was fine but they were too soft. It’s funny that the fries weren’t that good because they make a point of telling the customer exactly how their fries are specially made, in a paragraph on the menu. Also something very awkward happened with our service — our server took my order for a second drink and left, and about 10 minutes later the manager(presumably) walked around the restaurant and asked us how everything was. We told him we liked our food, and I wouldn’t have mentioned waiting for my drink if the place had been more crowded, or if the bartender hadn’t gotten us our first drinks immediately, so I offhandedly mentioned I had ordered something — in case they’d forgotten, which would be fine! The manager apologized despite my insistence that it was fine, and said he’d look right into it. 5 minutes later we see the manager talking sternly to the server about 10 feet away from us, and I felt terrible, if we got him in trouble. As a customer it was awkward to see that and I wish that 1, the manager hadn’t scolded him despite my saying the delay was ok, and 2, he hadn’t done it right in front of us. Bottom line; it’s nice that it’s on the bottom floor of the hotel so one can go grab a quick drink or a bite, but the service could be a little more polished.

Cute and trendy place especially for a place like Desert Hot Springs. They have a patio which is sheltered and over looks the pool. They have a pool table that isn’t too busy. They have a full bar which was nice. I tried Leah’s tajun mango-strawberry margarita which was delicious at $ 7 a piece. Food The fries were good; thicker than thin cut but nothing like steak fries and crisp but still soft in the middle. My only complaint is that they had a lot of seasoning on them. I don’t think most people would be able to deal with how salty they were. I also tried their calamari which wasn’t as good. The crust was light but didn’t add much else besides grease and the squid itself was a bit rubbery. Lastly, I tried their eggs Benedict which was good especially when paired with their country style potatoes. Tip They are more than welcoming when accepting specials such as groupons. Overall For where and what it is, it’s pretty good. Honestly, it’s probably one of the best options down there. If you’re a guest take advantage of it; it’s convenient, reasonably priced, has decent food, and the staff(Leah) is super nice!

Pretty good. Chicken Marsala was more than passable… As were our other dishes. Alfredo was a little bland. Not a lot of options but what they do they do well. Friendly service and a full bar. Nice touch to the hotel.
