Al’s Gun & Reel Shop

There’s too many good gun shops to go to rather than go here and deal with rude sales people. I’ll take my business elsewhere. Prices are average, so there is really no advantage I found to go there and deal with the attitudes.

I have been shopping at Al’s for many years now and while he is a bit of an acquired taste, Al is likely one of the most knowledgeable gun dealers I have ever encountered.
This is my go to shop for ANYTHING Browning. Al will set you up correctly for whatever type of Browning gun you may be interested in.
The whole staff when under pressure gets a little testy but give them the benefit of the doubt. This store is busy busy busy all the time and frankly I do not know how they all keep their sanity right now.
Overall great store, good prices and a good staff who at the end of the day want to serve and and insure you are 100% satisfied.

I like these people, they do what they can to help and I feel they were fair to me on a trade. The owner has been informative and helpful. I have found ammo there when all the other places do not have it. I have found helpful tips and good service and we have been back several times. I like them and I will continue to do business with them.

I’ve made two visits to this store and left disgusted both times. In both cases I was looking for very specific items (a particular style of holster and magazines for my pistol) and the guy behind the counter (I’m not sure if it was the same guy, as both these visits were years apart) didn’t have them, but got obnoxiously pushy in trying to get me to purchase the items that he did have (which weren’t even close to what I was looking for). When I objected to his suggestions, indicating I was intent on the specific items, he became even more rude trying to make me feel as though I was foolish for not purchasing what he had. It’s not like I was trying to buy something that didn’t exist — as I was able to find the items I wanted at another gun store. It just irritated me that on two different visits I encountered the same type of bad business practices… which tells me this is how this place operates all the time.
