i went for dinner with friends and family. The seafood and sushi bar was very good. It was more quality food than other Chinese buffets around the area. We made a reservation for 15 people including children, they gave us a good space to enjoy our food and our gathering with friends and family. Will come again soon

Just because I am not officially a fan does not mean I wouldn’t recommend this buffet/sushi/hibachi place. First of all a groupon for $ 20 off dinner entrees or hibachi entrees(but not buffet) is a good starting point if you decide to give it a try. I heard good things about the buffet too, and a quick glance gave me the urge to come again for that dining option. And we had already decided to forgo hibachi since we didn’t feel like dealing with a table full of strangers. But we had a good view of that room and the patrons there were really enjoying themselves. A specialty roll by the name of Halloween was chosen as an app, it was the highlight of my experience. This spicy tuna roll was definitely 4 star territory. My entrée of tempura deluxe came with soup and salad. The former a decent mushroom infused miso I believe, the later your standard carrot ginger dressed iceberg offering. The fairly priced fried dish was huge, it would be a perfect sharing size for a couple. Taste wise it was decent, 5 or more excellent shrimp, 2 or 3 scallops also very good, a large lobster tail that was sliced in half was ok. Not as sweet as I would hope for, but tender and nutty at least. A few pieces of Imitation crab, of which I am greatly opposed to in principle, it was ok. But the veggies were subpar, they had a different coating which I imagine was applied then frozen for later use. Reheating the following day helped them gain some crunchiness at least. My gf ordered a noodle dish which was beautifully plated and very tasty, Udon something with chicken. Another huge portion suitable for sharing. To sum up this is a budget friendly and portion friendly spot. I will most likely try again if the opportunity presents itself. Either for an all sushi dinner or buffet lunch or dinner. That future experience might elevate this into the 4th star range, but for now 3.75 Kanpai Unilocal

I gave this place a couple chances, and while the food is okay(nothing crazy special) the service really needs improvement. The first time I came here was last November. It was late, after a movie. The restaurant was about to close even though it was posted as being open later. Apparently when they don’t have a lot of business they just close up shop. They let us in anyway and we ordered off the menu — the food was hastily prepared but was still pretty good anyway. We tried to rush out of their hair. I decided to give it another shot a couple months ago, thinking the first time was just a fluke. This time we came in a normal hour. We ordered off the menu again(I don’t really do buffets). The food was okay but the waitress was pretty inattentive. My boyfriend witnessed another waiter clipping his nails by the buffet. Kind of gross. So, I just have to say that I won’t be back. If they could improve the service and the quality, I think it would be a nice place!

I was not thrilled with our experience. we normally love this place but it was not good last night the food was Luke warm and waitress was rude and lazy. I have been to many different ones all over this country they where great. If you have a rude server it ruins your meal. I left a 5% tip and wrote bad service on the bill. I totally hate when they bring te bill before your done your meal it is like your being rushed. I felt like it was 100.00 thrown down the drain

We came for lunch and it was worth the price $ 11/person. It was a sushi buffet with other hot and cold dishes, some were fairly fresh and they’re were decent options. We were in the area, so it was a good find but I def wouldn’t drive it off my way to go here, food was just ok.

I normally do not update reviews this often. But I feel the need. I have seen reviews saying the place went«downhill» this just isn’t true. And I know because I come here 1 – 3 times a week. Why? Not for«all you can eat» but for quality food at amazing prices. There are plenty of crappy buffets around where the food is always hot… and gross… I have never had a problem at tokyo. They are fast about dish turnaround, and never seem annoyed if you wait for fresh portions to come out. The food is still delicious. I wish they had more of the cone style rolls. And more eel! But as always perfect.(Read my other reviews here) they are just as good as before. The Groupon thing seems like it made people mad

I have not even tried the food and I am unhappy with this establishment. The Groupon is misleading. There is a lot of fine print, which leads you to only be able to order Hibachi and raw sushi from the menu. You cannot use the Groupon for items that are priced the same as entrees, and you cannot use it for the buffet. We decided not to use the Groupon at all. Other than that, this place is just a normal sushi buffet, but is also even more confusing because you either have to sit down and order from the menu, sit down at hibachi, or pay a per head cost and order from the buffet. Confusing! A message for the restaurant: please either offer a real Groupon or not. A message for Groupon: only allow real offers without lines and lines of fine print that a consumer wouldn’t understand with out looking at the menu.

I haven’t been to this restaurant in some time. My experience tonight was horrible. Hot food was cold, had no taste and server was rude. Sushi was so so… crab legs were cold and old. I think for 2 adults and 2 kids… $ 74.86 was a bit HIGH. I wont visit again… they have went WAYDOWNHILL. When going up to pay I conplained… her response, well come closer to 6… reason being. .they finish up lunch & apparently don’t put fresh out until 6. But they will charge u for dinner prices.

Good food and service. Everything was fresh and the staff was super nice. Managers were very on top of the food and their customers even during a crowded Saturday night

We went for lunch today. First time both of us went out to eat since our daughter was born. We used to go here often almost once a week. Food was good for a buffet. But sadly they are cutting corners and the food has suffered. The food was cold. No steam coming off the steam tables. The ice cream is no longer Turkey Hill. They have some cheap stuff now. The red bean and green tea ice cream was still good. I expect a lot more for $ 12.99. Almost twice the cost of other buffets. Guess we will not be going back anymore.

Came here in a large group of 16 with my boyfriend and his family, so you would expect the customer service to be amazing, but it wasn’t as great as it could be. First off, I understand the hibachi grill worker works partially for the tip, I do tip, but I always tip POST the service, isn’t that how it works in any restaurant/salon? But the moment I asked the guy to grill some meat, he just gave me this really uncomfortable stare and he wouldn’t even respond me! SORUDE! How am I suppose to tip someone who gave 0 care to customer service??? Besides that, the food was above average buffet food! They had really delicious fish and lamb skewer!!! I also loved the wide variety they offered! The desert was impressive too!!!

This review is for the maze landing location only Ok I guess this place is going down hill fast now. Went there last night, the lobster is gone, the overall food quality has plummeted. I think I saw a pan with on chicken nugget in it by the so called main course dishes. They crabs they were serving were like mush or the meat was non existent. The sushi and sashimi was sketchy at best and you could just feel the place was headed for trouble. It was Saturday night at 6:45 when I left and the place was pretty empty. I realize its difficult to be consistent with such an ambitious offering but you just have to keep pace or this is what you get. I won’t be going bad and Im really sad about it as I really did love the place. I felt robbed last night when I walked out. I hesitated going in and should have trusted my instincts.

Any FOODALLERGIES… BEWARE!!!( On Saturday, July 26th at 6:30pm my husband and I dined at this restaurant. After being seated, we had had trouble finding a server when I needed one. Finally, when a server arrived they immediately took our order. My Husband I asked about the Sushi, since we are not big Sushi eaters, but wanted to experience it together, we asked for specific Sushi suggestion that did not contain SHELLFISH. And more specifically to ensure that they understood, I specifically said, please recommend one that does not contains CRAB, SHRIMP, or ANYSEAFOOD. Low and Behold, they recommended shareable dish. When received, I asked another waitress who was placing the food on the table, if the one sushi roll contained shellfish or seafood she said NO and walked a way. My husband and I took a bite and begin talking. Minutes later, my reaction began.(itchy, watery eyes, throat swelled and began to close.) Our original waiter came over, my husband who was not happy at this time asked, Does this Sushi contain Seafood and she said Yes… it has Crab in it. Boy was he not thrilled. At this time, I immediately rushed out of there to attend to my allergic reaction. Again, I just thought I share my experience, because there may be servers with language barriers. But please make certain to speak with someone i. e Manager or Chef to make sure that they are clear and fully understand any allergies that you may have. Otherwise, the food was bland and metiocre. I will never recommend this place or dine in this restaurant again.

Chinese food section pales in comparison to their amazing sushi selection. If you’re there for dinner hours, the price is a little high($ 19.99/head), but sushi fans know that good sushi is worth the cost, especially considering it’s a buffet. You’ll get your money’s worth every time, no matter when you’re there.

Just had lunch here today. They had ginger crabs, salt n pepper shrimp, and sushi which I like. My favorite sushi roll flying fish roe were available. We finished off with dessert fruits and red bean and green tea ice cream. For lunch was $ 10.99 per person.

I wasn’t really thrilled with this place, the price is pretty high for sushi that has been sitting around for a while. I much prefer all you can eat sushi options where you order the fish from a server. The wasabi was too mild for my taste, the fish didn’t taste fresh, the rice started to have that too firm taste to it. I was excited that they had some dim sum burners going, but most of them were empty when we were there. All of the crab was incredibly over cooked, and I couldn’t find a shell cracker anywhere, so eating them was a pain. The black pepper short ribs were pretty good, one of the better things that I ate there. I liked that they had lamb available at the hibachi station. I had trouble finding a server when I needed one(for the crab shell cracker), but I would have preferred that there was just a pile of them next to the crab anyway. I don’t expect service to be anything special at a buffet.

This place isn’t bad if you are just looking for a sushi fix for your craving. I prefer to eat here during dinner time because of the raw oysters, snow crabs, and sashimi. It’s a lot cheaper to eat here during lunch though, but the main dish would be just the sushi. I’ve had better sushi, but like I said, I eat here to get my sushi fix and it’s really close to my house. Also, there is never a wait, which is a plus. I gave this review only three stars because their service kind of sucks. Majority of the times that I have been there, you see your waitress in the beginning and then you don’t see them until you have plates and plates stacked for them to take away. It’s hard to get ahold of a server while eating.

So the kids and I were at Toys R Us & GameStop last week and lunch time came. We went to Tokyo after stalking people leaving who gave it the thumbs up! Everything was so fresh and delicious. I thought the sushi was exceptionally good, big and FRESH. I also really liked the shrimp soup, noodles(didn’t have alot of crap in them), chicken(seemed like sliced from good cutlets or something?), crab and cheese dish and the(self scoop) green tea icecream. My kids usually don’t like buffet food and get Americanized crap but they mopped UP and enjoyed the dishes so much as well. I liked the décor. The prices were good and the service was okay — def not intrusive/annoying. I am absolutely going back. Wish I could beam myself there NOW in fact ;)

As you walk in you can say hi to the koy fish they got swimming in their own little world. This place offers a Hibachi… sushi. buffet and a grill. yeaa big fan of the grill and sushi thing. Has plenty of seating, their options are different from their lunch menu vs their dinner menu. Personally i had both and i prefer their dinner menu plus. the grill is available during dinner hrs and it is well worth it. The staff is friendly and helpful if you look lost. You never have to worry about an empty glass, and they do ask if everything is ok… so its not just a sit and yea good luck The Grill– You have options for the grill, steak, lamb, beef, etc. and it is done how you prefer it. slide the guy a tip and he’ll make sure its how you like it. This guy doing up the grill always cleans off the area before he starts a new order. Sushi– even though this is a buffet style you expect the normal sushi, nothing special. I have to admit this was better than expected, I am a Sushi fan, they have the regulars, the popular ones that everyone knows, so expect that, then they have some chefs creations. spicy tuna, or salmon. dragon and tiger rolls. fresh wasabi and ginger. Buffet– They have the normal things and some added, Unilocalers i really didn’t pay attention but i did see the sweet and sours, general tso, sesame, and coconut flavors. They also have different rices to choose from white, to the house special, also they have Noodles. They do have soups aswell, Japanese style and the regulars everyone is used to. I am more of the grill and sushi type. They do have different desserts, from fruit, jello, cakes, and ice cream. and if you are not fan of any of the options they give you they do have a menu you can order off of. They also have take out where they weigh it, different prices for different items.(i.e. sushi has a price per lb, compaired to the grill or buffet) The bathroom well that was not the greatest. need a better sanitation crew we might say.
