The staff was very friendly, but unfortunately I did not enjoy the food here. My boyfriend took me because he knows my love for sushi. Sadly, i have lost my love for sushi because of what i tasted here. They had a nice selection in a chilled help yourself bin, but i opted for the California roll. I sat down and immediately put a whole piece in my mouth and it tasted like bad fish almost.(And there is no fish in a California roll — crab meat rather) I tried to get myself to push through the taste and swallow it due to the amount of people around. My boyfriend saw my horrified face as i spit the somewhat chewed sushi into my napkin and said, «Was it that bad?!» Yes. Yes it was. Not only were the ingredients awful, the sushi was also warm.(It supposed to be chilled, and initially I thought it was) My boyfriend claims his food he got from the buffet wasn’t hot and very good either. I’ll leave it at this: I haven’t eaten sushi in about 2 months since visiting Teppanyaki. If you’re looking for a good Asian buffet, check out the place in Glassboro!

Wish I could give it NO stars. Two words NEVERAGAIN. Food bland. I was asked to pay before I finished. And when I got up to refill my plate all my utensils and drink were cleared. I was asked to pay a second time. Food is tasteless. No sushi at lunch Mid represented No. nEVER AGAIN

Love the hibachi in the back! The Buffett is a nice big open place with a lot of good food! Their sushi selection excels and I’m very meticulous about some sushi but I can always find something I like here. Their coconut shrimp is really good, some of the food is kind of sketchy so I avoid them. Overall, the place could be better.

Its… Edible. Some of the food is decent, but nothing above buffet quality. As far as Sushi goes, it is sub par. Some rolls are okay, some are bland. Best part of my meal was the hard ice cream which is not made there. I would reccomend other eateries over this.

Not bad for a Chinese buffet. They usually are gross and just blah. This one’s one of the better ones. Some of their selections are a bit gross. The egg rolls and stuffed shrimp were not very edible. I really liked the coconut chicken though that was good.

So apparently these are a chain. I’ve been to the one in Philly before and was not impressed. This one is a lot nicer and the food seemed a lot better too. .. right up until I got out to my car and I had to jump back out to puke my meal all over a bush in the parking lot. Hopefully it at least serves as a deterrent to others looking to eat here but with the rain today my warning is probably long gone by now.

It was average food. Busy and pleasant atmosphere. Took a long time for refills on drinks.

Sweet baby Jesus this place is good. The buffet food isn’t 5 star, but for a buffet it is the best I’ve had in the area. The hibachi is next level.

Back again for the lunch buffet. While much hasn’t changed since last time, I had to comment on just how fresh the chilled u-peel it shrimp were. There was plenty of ice to keep them cold and while they weren’t exactly JUMBO, they were decent sized, and they were clean! My wife could even tell how fresh they were and she normally doesn’t eat them. Better than Peking and Hibachi by far. Crab rangoon always good here. Spring rolls and egg rolls, not so much.

I love sushi, even crappy sushi. So, this place is great when I want to stuff myself full of mediocre sushi. The general demographic that eats here avoids the sushi section, so they are always fully stocked. Definitely a great price for all you can eat raw fish, even if it’s not the freshest. The rest of their food is just mediocre buffet food, and not very good.

I was on an adventure to find good Chinese food with a friend when we passed this place and decided that $ 8.99 for a dinner buffet was probably less than what we’d spend elsewhere. It was around 8pm and there were plenty of people both dining in and taking food to go for a Monday night when we got there. The restaurant is clean, with waitstaff sweeping the aisles and wiping down tables when not refilling drinks. One woman was bringing out new trays of food. I am allergic to shellfish so I didn’t get to try a lot of the dishes, but my friend quite enjoyed a variety of seafood. We didn’t eat any sushi, as it wasn’t labeled. I couldn’t believe the amount of available dishes. Maybe it’s just that I hadn’t been to a buffet in a long time. The grilled pork was tender and juicy, and I will definitely have more if I go back. I tried pepper chicken for the first time, which I fell in love with. I did not find the coconut chicken to have much flavor. I tried a fried plantain which seemed out of place on the buffet station, but it was enjoyable. I tasted the Hong Kong chicken, but it didn’t have a distinct flavor so I did not have more. The dumplings were very good. The egg drop soup stuck to the ladle like it wasn’t really hot enough, but it tasted alright. The vegetables had probably just been put out. They were cooked and seasoned well. The general tso’s chicken tasted just like the sesame chicken, which was disappointing. The egg roll was chewy and hard to bite into. I am now able to say that I have eaten octopus. My friend and I decided that quite a few plates we grabbed just happened to be covered in food that wasn’t really worth filling up on. There are American food choices available, like pizza, Mac and cheese, and garlic bread. There are salad and fruit bars as well, plus a dessert station(which was not labeled). There was jello available, but it was tough enough that you couldn’t put your finger through it. Our favorite dessert was the self serve hard ice cream station with many flavors. Our waitress didn’t say much aside from asking what we wanted to drink and if we wanted refills. When we got dessert she brought our check with fortune cookies. She circled a few times with her eyes on the check before we were ready to pay and leave, but to be clear, people were still being seated with plenty of empty tables available. Overall we had a lot of fun. I got to try a lot of new foods and enjoy ones I already liked. Everyone in our seating area appeared to be having a good time. The price is great for the amount of food you could shovel into your face if you wanted to, and for the huge selection available. It isn’t top quality food but the buffet is about quantity, right?

Great sushi choices. Made to order grill at no extra cost. Great dinner price during the weekdays($ 8.99) Nice assortment of choices. The staff is friendly and is very observant when you need a refill. Overall I really enjoy this place and favor the sushi. I would say the freshness of certain items can be improved and maybe more items. They have all types of chicken but very low pork options.

DONOTEATHERE!!! I live in the area and have been to this restaurant a few times with my family. The food has always been decent, and the atmosphere is friendly that’s what makes the fact that I HAVE to write this review so difficult. I went on 12÷11÷13 with the family, dropped my food off at the hibachi bar and ran to grab something from the sushi bar but was distracted by what appeared to be something moving under the lip of the buffet table. I tried to convince myself I was seeing things until I noticed something crawling on the floor, ROACHES!!! I grabbed a member of my party and we looked at the area that I thought I saw them initially and they were all over the underside of the buffet table. I got the manager and pointed them out to her(4 conveniently ran out from under the table when she came over)…they voided our bill and we got the heck out of there! It just feels wrong that they went on with business as usual KNOWING there are roaches not only in the restaurant but in the table the food is on… I called the health department and apparently I wasn’t the first call they’ve received about roaches in this restaurant. YOU’VEBEENWARNED

Lots of choices from American to Chinese dishes. Overall quality depends on what your getting. I would say most of the food is around fast food quality to decent Chinese food. I never saw or tasted anything nasty. The American dishes like pizza and cheese steak rolls are okay. Their sushi used to be great for the price but now not so much. I would recommend their hibachi dishes where you pick what you want and they’ll cook it for you. Otherwise stick to the Chinese dishes. Since they opened the quality has gone down a bit probably due to competition with the other buffets. I would say this is a good choice if your looking for more food for the buck. Their prices are really good. But you get what you pay for.

I went earlier tonight, despite reading some really nasty reviews. I was immediately disgusted by the smell of the poor sushi, which omitted a rancid odor. The food was hot, but the quality was horrid. The shrimp had a metallic taste to it, and the chicken tasted tough like it had been sitting out all day, which it probably had been. The rice was okay. but it was extremely salty. I tried the hibachi bar and the selection was okay, but the steak was fatty and veiny, and the shrimp had a very bad rotten taste. The staff was also very peculiar. They waited over our shoulder and were in my opinion rude. There was also a bug zapper smacking the wall next to us… it was quite unpleasing. In result, I will not be returning.

Nope. This is pretty nasty. The best thing about this place is the way the restroom doors are appointed. The hot table offerings are lukewarm. The sushi is gamey. There is a toilet aroma near some of the food. We were just passing through the area. Should have stayed that way.

We love to stop in for a fast quality meal at a reasonable buffet price. Largest buffet in the area from a square footage perspective and food offering. Offers lots of variety from sushi, Chinese, traditional American and a few adds such as grill bar and fish. Unfortunately, no snow crab legs. Always lots of people, but you never feel crowded and the buffet food options are never empty. The crowd is reflective of how good the food really is…

$ 10/pp for a weekend buffet dinner is a hard thing to find. Based on that alone, I’d call Teppanyaki a gem since it is so rare to come across that. Once you get past that though, the food is very mediocre. Much of the sushi looked(and some even tasted) like they had been left out for hours. I would recommend you avoid the sushi pieces that were deep-fried. I think those were the rolls containing raw fish that were on the verge of going bad. The Hong Kong Chicken was very good and I definitely went for seconds of the Lo Mein. Other than that, the other dishes did not look too inviting. To be fair to them, we went at the very tail end of the night(about 9:30pm arrival) so they weren’t really putting out new food at that time. Teppanyaki Grill and Supreme Buffet is definitely a good choice if you’ve got a large group and everyone wants something different. Just don’t walk in expecting the highest quality of the food dishes and you’ll definitely enjoy yourselves.

On July 1, 2012 at approximately 5 pm, my sister Amy and her husband Andy were dining at the Teppanyaki Grill and Supreme Buffet in Clementon, NJ. Andy has Turret’s Syndrome and is always very mindful of informing all those around of his disability. During their visit, Andy was told by the manager, Kevin Yung, to return to his seat and that his wife(Amy) would have to get his food. He was again informed of Andy’s disability and that Andy had not«spit in the food» as the manager had accused him of. Kevin did not care and claimed he was not discriminating against someone with a disability. Other patrons who had witnessed the altercation left, not wanting to patronize some place that would so blatantly discriminate. I contacted the establishment with my concerns; in the hopes of an apology for what I thought might have been a misunderstanding. The young lady who answered was mortified and apologized for«herself, the staff, and the establishment». She then transferred the call to the manager, Kevin, who again did not see the error of his ways and was unapologetic. I am contacting as many news agencies in the hopes that this atrocity can be made aware to the public, and that discrimination like this can be averted.

We were wow’d by Teppanyaki — the décor is beautiful and clean plus the food is DELICIOUS!!! My man and I splurged on a bit of everything w/out over indulging(like you so can!). The sushi was so good(see my plate pix!) My personal favorite was the spicy shrimp(with some zucchini included) and I loved the dessert buffet(s). The choc pudding is like good diner kind and the chocolate chip cookies were yummy! He went nuts for the hibachi and we both can’t wait to go back again! (how does this place make any money w/their prices!!!)
