They have a very limited craft beer selection, it’s kind of disappointing. Their growler station is the only thing really going for this liquor store. They also have very limited hard liquor options– and their prices are kind of high in my opinion. They have a lot of main stream beer.

Worst liquor store in New Jersey!!! The owner and staff are always goofing around and don’t even know you exist most of the time. They never ever say thank you or hello. Stay away from this establishment!

in the 3 years i have been shopping here, I think they have said«hello» or «thank you» to me just a few times. The staff, especially the owner/manager with the dark hair are always in the middle of a loud personal conversation and far too consumed with that than greeting or helping their patrons. Just last week I was looking for some Sweet Baby Jesus in the craft beer section, standing next to the manager lady waiting to get her attention while she yelled her conversation about her sleeping positions to the guy behind the growler station.(she doesn’t sleep on her back, the growler guy sleeps on his side) Another time I looked through the wine section for my favorite red blend, when I didn’t see any I want up to the desk to ask if there was any in stock. The blond lady behind the register was talking to the other employee there about the best burger she ever had.(it was when they all went on vacation, and it was like 20 bucks). i stood there for a minute while they both ignored. finally I was able to ask if there was any menage a tois in stock, she blankly looked at me. «it’s a red wine blend you usually carry» i said. oh, the wine is over there she motioned to where i just was. «uh, thanks» I mumbled and left. This is the type of customer service you can expect here.

I’m giving them an extra star for the sole reason that they are OPENLATEONSUNDAYS!!! That’s right, open until 8 p.m. on Sundays! I was there one recent Sunday around 7 p.m. and it was a friendly gathering of like-minded procrastinating folks. Grin.

They recently added a growler station here with 4 taps. While getting my growler filled with some Sly Fox Black Raspberry Reserve(8.0ABV!) I found out they are adding 2 more taps. He said he wants to appeal to everyone with different types and prices. I tried all 4 he had tapped and all were good. Ranging from an IPA to a Belgian white to a pilsner as well as the black raspberry I bought, he had a nice selection. Prices ranged from 9.99 to 19.99. I like how they use neat preprinted labels to put on the growler cap, as opposed to nasty masking tape other places use. He also rinsed my growler out with cold water to cool it down before filling it since it was HOT from sitting in my car while I was shopping. I will be back for refills.
