This place is great as long as you don’t pay full price. The JCPenney portrait studio often have deals on Groupon that really make it worth it. It’s not nearly as hectic an experience as Picture People type places & the employees have always been very kind to my family.
They take multiple shots in different groupings. We did the whole family, then kids, then dad & kids etc. With our deal, we got a CD with 3 shots to keep plus 2 sheets.
I paid extra for some customized 10×10s also. We still got out of there pretty cheaply.
You then have online access to all of the shots from the session for 90 days so you or other family members can review them.
I found a deal that lets me buy sheets that are usually $ 10 each for only $ 4. They always have some kind of 40% off promo code or sale going that you can use to order more prints later. We’ve found the JCP portaitrs to be a good moderately priced option for family portraits. Again, look for those Groupons!
