Very cute little local winery. Kinda divey. Nice wines. Free tastings. So I bought the bottle and took it home.

Lady very friendly and informative. Eine tasting in complementary, because you will more than likely walk away with a few bottles. All varietals tasted were very good. My faves we the Marschal Foch and the Blackberry Wine.

This was the absolute BEST place ever. It was a cute little«cave» like place and they didn’t charge for any tastings. They do give you tastings in small plastic cups but sorry they don’t serve it to you on a silver platter like some wine snobs expect. The guy behind the counter was extremely knowledgeable about all the wines and helped us pick out what was best for us. My favorite was the Peach and I’ll definitely be ordering some since they do ship to certain areas. Do NOT listen to the hateful comments about the way the serve their tastings. That’s the point, to taste and get interested in the full bottle. Walked out with 7 bottles between the 3 of us and if I could keep going back I would. Such a great PERSONAL experience.

The guy behind the counter, Kyle, was very helpful in telling us about the different wines. He offered to hold our purchase while we looked around Depoe Bay. Very helpful. Wines are wonderful too.

Ignore the snobs commenting. They have great wine and and their tasting cups are fine. Sorry if people want them to break out the crystal wine glasses for them to use. Coastal Cranberry is incredible and great with a Thanksgiving meal. Plum goes great with Thai as well. Harbor Red is my favorite. Give them a try !

OMG the wine was terrible, the tasting cups or pill cups were awful and the cave was claustrophobic, the dollars hanging off the top of the cave was nice ax far as a donation but WTH! If you are passing by keep going!

So this is sort of a Boone’s Farm Wine Tasting. Plastic shot glass cups that they serve multiple pours out of, not the fancy glass you may be used to. It’s a wine«cave» so you are supposed to sign your name. I signed an alias, not wanting anyone to know I was there. My friend and I had bought more expensive wines at some of the wine trail wineries, and had no way to ship them back, so we stopped in here and asked if he would do it. For a price… but, if we bought some of their wine he would waive the shipping fee. I did some quick math and tried one of their Pinot Noirs which wasn’t horrible, so I purchased that and my friend got a bottle which more than paid for our expensive stuff. The wine arrived safely at my place of employment to everyone’s excitement, who thought I was giving out Oregon Coast wine at work. I was, to myself.

Quite an interesting stop on my vacation at the coast last week. It was hard to miss the bright yellow storefront right on the main drag in Depoe Bay. After many years of visiting this tiny town, neither I nor my family could ever remember seeing it though? Blinded by whale watching, microbrews, ocean spray and chowder belly I guess. This place has a papier mache«cave» ceiling that people can write on — and it was covered. The friendly owner let us sample many wines for free(out of plastic Solo cups the size you’d get for jello shots, first time for everything!) and they weren’t half bad. I bought a Reisling for $ 20 which isn’t typically my first pick but it was good, not too sweet. I really liked their $ 30 pinot noir which had a very unusual aftertaste of buttered popcorn. It was better than it sounds. They have a LOT of fruit wines and a muscat if you’re into that sort of thing. It’s super tiny but something a little different to do if you’re in the area.

We picked up a couple bottles while in the area a couple years back. The fruit wines are sweet and average. The Riesling was okay. If I recall they weren’t too expensive.
