Village Liquor Store of Depew

This place fills a need. Not many other options around here. Needed wine for Mother’s Day lunch and the selection was better than expected. In and out in just a couple minutes. It was even cold!

This is a tiny, older, liquor store on Transit Road. It’s located in a (run down) strip plaza, across from Tim Hortons.
The location is convenient, and there aren’t really any other liquor stores in the surrounding area. (The Tops Plaza across the street can use one).
Due to my limited options, I stop in here often because it’s right on Transit Road. The service is quite slow. A very nice, older gentleman, who owns the store is usually working behind the counter. There’s one register, and only one person working at any given time, therefore a line can easily pile up. (Especially when the elderly are stocking up on their lotto tickets!)
For the small store, they have a pretty decent wine selection.
