YEE: Burgers By Candlelight At Wash Park Location

Good timing on this event! Its starting to get warmer out so what better food to eat than burgers?!
I had never been to a park burger before. so it was awesome to try out their stuff. I really enjoyed the truffle fries and especially the tuna burger. So good! It was super awesome to meet the founder/​owner and hear their story of starting out in fine dining and creating a great fast casual concept from it… and to top it off they had a some great shakes for dessert! I also cant wait to use my new Unilocal ice cube tray :)

Another great Elite only evening at one of Denvers awesome restaurants. Frances does such a great job of organizing these events.
We were lucky enough to have the owner of Larkburger at our location this night. The staff was so generous as was the owner who helped serve our four course dinners.
The restaurant was comfortable and the food was great.
I was super happy with my choices (tuna burger and strawberry shake!) so good!

Cozy, intimate and burger-ridden…yep that kind of describes my perfect night! I really liked this event because it was smaller and you could actually hear others, converse and get to know other Elites on more than just a «Yeah, I’ve seen your reviews» level.
I was especially surprised coming here to find a parking lot. Not having to search for parking near Wash Park always warrants a thumbs up from this gal. We talked with Adam, one of the founders of Larkburger, who guided us through the menu and new items they have. He asked what we planned on having and I responded with «Hmmmm, some kind of burger» and he recommended the chicken burger. Once I saw that it had crispy jalapeños on top, I was sold! I got a surprisingly tasty, cold can of Infinite Monkey Theorem red wind and found a spot in one of their booths. Soon enough, we were chatting with other Eliters all the while noshing on their kale salad (a personal favorite when I go to Larkburger!), chili, their AMAZING truffle fries and soon enough our burgers came out. It was just the right amount of food (no fat pants needed, woot woot!) and like I said before, intimate so we could actually talk with one another without cliques or distractions taking over. But then again, we had a pretty awesome table so we lucked out :)
Props to Frances, Adam and the friendly Larkburger staff for opening their doors and showing us yet another fabulous thing about Colorado!

My man & I were fortunate enough to get bumped off the wait list and into this delicious & generous event! Try any burger and get samples of chili (surprisingly good chili w/​a new recipe: gluten free with cocoa base instead of flour… I’ll likely return specifically for this), salads, fries, and milkshakes. I hadn’t had a tuna burger in a while so that was my obvious choice. When it came out, there was Swiss on the fish (bf got Swiss on his truffle burger, think it was just carried over) but it was surprisingly not bad. Owner Adam offered, neigh, INSISTED on getting me one without cheese but I told him I was willing to try something new and I’m glad I did, though I’m not sure I’d make the combo a habit. The fries were deliciously greasy, as always, and the milkshakes were just the right amount.
Adam: you’re fantastic! Thank you for welcoming us crazy elite Unilocalers into your establishment. Your staff was friendly and the food was yummy (thankfully smaller portions than normal)!
Unlike my tuna (because rare is always best there): Well done, sir. Well done.
And Frances: thank you for setting this up and for the adorable ice cube trays!

I’ve never met a burger I didn’t like. There was no doubt that I would be attending one of the Larkburger Unilocal Elite events last night to feed my inner burger.
I truly love a good burger and I’ve had the pleasure of enjoying the burgers at Larkburger from time to time. It was wonderful to enjoy a relaxed event where I was able to chat with the owner, Adam, and try more items than just the burger, who knew they had anything but burgers?!
The Larkburger was delicious and had a good ratio of beef to bread with just the right amount of complimentary ingredients (lettuce, tomato and onion). A burger would not be complete without fries, and I finished every last one of those delectable truffle fries, finger licking good I tell you (lip smack). I was able to try the kale salad for the first time and I have to say that I may actually come to Larkburger and order a salad instead of a burger, it was mighty fine, and the cilantro was a nice addition. I also indulged in a chocolate shake for dessert and it was thick and creamy, exactly what I wanted.
Thank you Frances for another wonderful event, I especially enjoyed the hand crafted Unilocal Champaign glasses and hope to snag one at the next event. Thank you Larkburger for inviting Unilocal and allowing us to sample all you have to offer.

We have passed by this location numerous times and only until now I managed to get hold of the RSVP for this event at this Larkburger WASH PARK Location.
Thank you Larkburger at Wash Park for Hosting and Thank You Frances for Organizing. This location is the closest to where we need to be. TAKE NOTE: The Parking outside can be slightly «tight» since it seems to be a one way thingy, but some other drivers, tend to think its a «two way» directions. «Nearly» had close calls incidents at this Location.
I was one of the early UnilocalERS to arrive. While waiting, one of the staffs, make sure if I need something to drink etc. Awww, that is indeed a nice gesture from the staffs. While waiting, from there I met Andrew, and the rest of the fellow Unilocalers. We ordered our Drinks and the Burgers option, at the counter, while for the rest of the Food Samples, the staffs will send it to our table.
The staffs periodically, offer us the Salad, The Black Angus Red Chili, The Fries and samples of Ice Cream with Vanilla, Strawberry and Chocolate Flavor Options. If I am NOT mistaken, I opt for the Caesar Salad. From what I could recall, the other Salad option is Chopped Kale Salad. While we are there, Adam one of the Founder of Larkburger is there to even assist the staffs etc.
I opt to have the Tuna Burger with extra Wasabi-​Ginger Dressing and the House Made Lemonade. It was OK. Managed to meet familiar faces and new ones too for this event. The staffs are indeed accommodating, though I think I was the last to receive the Truffle Parmesan Fries. This time around, I also opt to have the Wasabi Dressing on the side, so I can dip it with those Fries! My Oh My, I just love those Truffle & Parmesan Fries. The «skinny» kind of fries that I like, like ALOT! Though the Wasabi Dressing is subtle, I don’t mind returning with my friends when needed.
Before the evening ends, Adam and Frances give some «trivia» questions to all the Unilocalers to answer. By answering the correct answer, the «winners» won a Unilocal Champagne Stemware aka Champagne Flute to boot! Oohh and NOT forgetting those CUTE Unilocal Flexible shape ice trays!
This is like the 3^rd LARKBURGERs in town, that I have been to. I also managed to purchase some Burgers and Fries TO GO for Hubs and perhaps from there my review might differ.
