I am not a die-hard recycling fanatic. But I do like to make sure that I recycle my plastics, newspaper and bottles. Just doing my bit. After looking all over downtown Denver for a place to recycle my recyclables, I finally found a place that is not exactly down-town, but accepts a wide variety of material. The Waste Management Recycling plant at Franklin accepts paper, glass bottles, most kinds of plastics, cardboard, cans and your directories. The drop off containers are located in the parking lot and hence available 24/7, which makes it convenient to drop off your stuff. My only gripe with the place is that they dont accept plastic bags(so I drop off those at the Whole Foods Store). It would be so much more cooler if Denver had a recycling station closer to downtown. I hate having to go 5 miles to recycle. But this is a valuable service — 5 stars for that.
