Never had much belief in that Feng Shui thing… until today. Getting my car fixed at my favorite repair shop and found out I had to hang for maybe an hour. Decided to walk on over to «Wash Perk» which I’ve never been to but which I passed on the way to the shop. Weird, but as soon as I walked in I loved the place. Such a nice gentle welcoming vibe. Calm yet caffeine’d if that makes sense. Super sweet barrista. Happy customers. Shaded patio with chirping birdies. Heaven on earth? Maybe? Five stars? Absolutely. Perfect Bhakti Chai? You bet. Bottom line… There’s a bright side to driving an older car that breaks down: I get to hang more at Wash Perk. Sign me, David«The Walkin’ Man» M

I dig this place! I walked in at 11 on a Monday and almost every seat was taken. Lots of laptops and people working, and it’s the perfect place for that. Friendly staff, awesome scone, and… wait for it… lavender marshmallow mate latte. So good! I recommend it. They have both tables and random couches. Would definitely be a regular spot for me if I lived in Denver

Customer service was horrible! I’ve been a barista and it isn’t difficult making people feel welcomed and appreciated. The chai was definitely not my favorite. My boyfriend and I felt so uncomfortable that we couldn’t wait to get out of there. I tipped but I wish I hadn’t.

Probably the best café in the best city in the best state in the second best country on God’s green earth. VOTE1AUSTRALIA. But really, it doesn’t get much better than this laid back little park-hugger. Wash Park is right there man, like right there, a hop skip and a bike ride away with it’s green grass and lakes and tennis courts, and inside there’s free Wi-Fi and a bookshelf and the baristas really know their stuff and are friendly as labradors. I asked for a long black and that’s not a thing in America but we worked out what I meant and they did it just right. The only down side was not having a dog with me so I could sit outside and talk to other dogs. Not people, just their dogs. VOTE1DOGS.

This place is just so great. The atmosphere is laid back and there are so many lovely spots to sit and enjoy your cup of coffee! It’s perfect for a social meet up or for a study spot if you are in school(like myself– dang grad school). The coffee is delicious and they never seem to mess up any of my complex drink orders. It’s in a lovely part of Denver that allows for relaxing walks with friends or your dog. I just love sitting by the window, sipping on my latte, and soaking in the sunshine. VISITHERE. Good location to the park only a few blocks away! I got an iced chai latte and a raspberry scone. Yum! The chai was a bit watery… Seemed more like a chai tea… Think it needed a bit more milk… But the chai had great flavor so I didn’t mind much! The raspberry scone was Delish!

Love this coffee shop. It is spendy(hello Midwestern slang) but it totally worth it! I like to stop in on Saturday’s but don’t be surprised when there is a line out the door. Lots of seating outside and super close to Washington Park so you can go on a nice walk after. Added bonus they carry Beet Box bakery goods, so great!

Love this place. The staff is always super friendly and it gets lots of direct sunlight during the mid mornings. They have set out lots of power cords to work at, so just make sure to get there early to claim a spot. The furniture is crowded when it is full so getting to the bathroom is always a puzzle but overall always a good friendly spot.

This place is quiet and cozy. Not a lot of variety with good but coffee. Great spot to work for the day. Cute neighborhood vibe and easy parking.

Wash Perk is the cutest place to get coffee in Denver. The atmosphere is so warm and the service is very friendly. I’ve had a bunch of different drinks from here! The red rocks ice tea is delicious, they make a fabulous london fog, the hot chocolate is yummy, and if you are looking for something different they have a lavender marshmallow latte! I look forward to coming here every time I visit Denver because it is just so wonderful. It’s also dog friendly outside which is a total bonus!

Nothing is better then grabbing a warm drink during the Denver Cold in a café that makes you feel like your at home with the family. Wash Perk gives that exact vibe the moment you walk in. Great unique seating that makes you want to drink your coffee/tea there. During my Christmas trip to Colorado, I ended up going to Wash Perk twice. The first day I was really craving a tasty hot Chocolate. They did not disappoint. The hot chocolate had great Chico taste that had me feeling all gooey inside lol. I thought they did a great job making it sweet but not overwhelming. The second day I came, I wasn’t frozen solid so I was feeling an Iced Coffee. The only reason I took off a star here was because they made me add the sweeter & cream. I’m not spoiled. I just don’t know ratios when it comes to that. I just struggled with my drink & left with a bleh coffee. I did think the actual coffee was refreshing and not too bitter. If I came back and they decided to do the cream and sweetener for me, I’ll make sure to change my review! Trust me, this place is awesome! 4 out of 5 stars and amazing feel coming out of Wash Perk. I loved It!

After being totally disappointed with Bardo’s and being from LA I googled/yelped to find a better alternative and thankfully this place didn’t disappoint. They have maté, they have a friendly atmosphere, their location is not grimy, the ppl at the counter are friendly and attentive, they have less of a wannabe hipster crowd which was great. Tons of room and surge protector/outlets their food isn’t made in a microwave and everyone here overall doesn’t seem obnoxious or pretentious. If I come back to Denver I’m coming here.

Imagine if Phoebe from Friends lives in Denver, this would be the coffee shop where she’d hang out and sings Smelly Cat. In other words, this place is fun, eclectic and colorful. Love the mismatched chairs and tables! The café also separated into two areas: one with big tables and outlets for people to camp out with their laptops, and the other side with comfy couches and coffee tables for reading and chillaxing. The last time I went I got their pumpkin bread(super moist and delicious!) and their Italian soda. They also serve Kaladi and Novo coffee as well, but it was too hot for me to drink anything warm:/ Would most definitely come back again if I am in the neighborhood

Adorable little coffee shop in wash park. I ordered an iced coffee and it had a lovely flavor and concentration. I normally avoid anything gluten-free because to be perfectly honest, it usually tastes like sawdust. However, a paleo friend recommended the gluten-free pumpkin bread, and it was absolutely delicious. Only giving four stars because some of the staff seemed unneccessarily pretentious and had a little hint of attitude.

Wash Perk holds a special place in my heart. I lived in the neighborhood for years, and this was my go to spot. As an elementary school teacher, I spent most Sundays posted up here to lesson plan and make flip harts during my first two years of teaching. Then, during the week, this is one of the few places that opens by 6(or even earlier some mornings) so that I could grab a hot drink on my morning commute. I love the community vibe here. You will typically see friends meeting up to chat, the baristas are some of the friendliest in the city, and it’s not uncommon to see one of your neighbors pop in while you’re there. If you need some solo time, you can find a small table to do some reading, but know that this coffee shop is not the typical quiet one if that’s what you’re looking for. There are numerous outlets, but the wifi tends to be iffy some days. Tip: set up your computer and see if you can access the wifi before grabbing a coffee and settling in. My only complaints: it’s so popular now that it’s almost too busy. I know, a silly complaint, but I can hardly ever find a spot to sit and work these days when I go by. The other one is that whenever I get a hot almond milk latte, the milk always tastes burnt. While I appreciate the non-dairy options, I think a little more attention needs to be paid by the baristas making the drink. I’ve learned my lesson and I no longer order that option… Though I don’t live in the neighborhood any longer, my nostalgia for this shop is strong. If a friend and I are planning a walk around Wash Park, we always stop by this shop to grab a tea/coffee before we start the walk. I don’t see that ever changing.

Stopped by here to do some work. The staff were super friendly, and there were a lot of great places to work. I just grabbed an iced tea, so I cannot yet comment on their libation magic, but the place had a good work vibe and lots of outlets!

@WashPerkCoffee Great location for a coffee shop. Spacious both inside and outside. Artwork, photo collages and trinkets retasked arty ‘junk’ adorn the walls. The iced Americano was strong and delicious. It gave me a nice jolt. The oatmeal bar thingie was tasty and hearty. It really is all about location. The Washington Park neighborhood is historic and awesome. It was fairly busy for a weekday morning, a steady stream of people from all walks of life. It appears that joggers flock here after a run around Washington Park due to the sweat stained scantily clad work out gear apparel worn by some patrons. Other patrons wore cute summery sandals showing off their pedicure best. I laughed at the particular orders of some of these folks. Decaf light iced chai tea at 100.22°F? Breakfast bar cut into thirds and heated for 12 seconds only in the microwave? Medium hot coffee grounds with a pat of butter on the side? Decaffeinated sugar free vanilla skim milk latte with extra heavy cream?! Why spend the money? Just drink water. They have a nice selection of cold beverages in coolers, from Dry Soda Co to Big B’s juices to Naked juices to burritos and sandwiches. Overall a quaint coffee house with amazing people watching. Go to spy the social oddities representing all classes of society mixed with some snobbish beverage ordering(typical of all coffee shops). You’ll be glad you did.

My favorite place to stop on my way to Washington Park! They’ve got the casual comfy vibe down. Their menu isn’t huge, but they manage to offer the classics along with some unusual options. I love their red rocks iced tea! It’s also awesome that they have a dog friendly patio and treats inside for your furry friend! I’m not even a coffee drinker but Wash Perk is quickly becoming one of my favorite places to grab a drink or quick snack.

Super cute place — definitely a little cozy so be prepared to get nice and comfy with your neighbors. I came here this morning hoping to study for an exam and the place was packed! Since it was listed as a top place to work/study I thought it would be a little quieter. I ended up heading out after about 30 minutes because I couldn’t focus — definitely partially my fault. I don’t know if it was standard to be that packed on a Friday at 930. It wouldn’t shock me as Wash Perk definitely gives off the vibe as the neighborhood coffee shop where everyone knows your name. The coffee — I had a nonfat latte and a slice of the vegan banana nut bread. The bread was surprisingly delicious! The latte was also super good! Nice and strong and hot — all just the way I like it. This is one of those places that I would definitely come back to with a friend to catch up but I don’t foresee myself studying here in the future.

This is one of my favorite coffee shops in the area! I really enjoy the community feel. There are always lots of people hanging out working, reading and chatting. You can tell it’s a joint prized by the neighborhood. Drinks are decent, while not amazing, and reasonably priced. Fair assortment of pastries and the usual burritos and whatnot. They’re usually pretty busy; occasionally service has been questionable and I’ve been offered a free drink card(without asking). I like laying around at coffee shops more than computerizing these days, and while there’s a couch and a cozy chair or two I would like if there were some additional relaxed seating available. There is a good amount of chairs outside, which is nice! Parking is decent, on the streets of the quiet neighborhood. Overall I like the perky urban feel of Wash Perk a lot.
