Great food, reasonable prices, and they always have great customer service! It’s nice to have a good option for sushi to go.

I came here during my visit to Denver and I am so sad this place does not exist in my hometown! The sushi rolls are a fantastic deal for $ 8 and they taste absolutely delicious. The staff is super friendly and you have to try one of the boba teas as well. Green tea and taro are perfection!

Love this place! :) I am very picky about rice, its taste and texture are very important. They have perfected it! They offer fresh variety ingredients. You can mix and match your proteins, vege and sauces. They also offer sushi burrito, which I will try next time! Their miso soup is great too! Not too salty! Also if the weather is cold, go for their tea. They offer green tea and its fantastic! This became one of my fav place :)

I love this place. It is quick, close to campus, and always fresh. The staff is really nice and helpful and willing to answer any questions you may have. I am pretty picky with my fish and Wasabi Roll & Go is always fresh and delicious. They also have boba, too!

I came here with a friend after discovering they had brown rice. My friend can’t eat white rice so it was awesome to be able to eat sushi with him and not have him worry about the rice. This place is like Chipotle, but sushi style! I thought the fish tasted fresh and all the ingredients were fresh and tasted great! We also has some miso soup that was on point. I’ll be back!

Awesome spot to grab a quick delicious lunch. Love that they have brown rice available for their sushi rolls. Love that you can design your own rolls or pick one of their own. The friendly staff is quick and eager to help! I grabbed a groupon to try this place out and will definitely be going back since it’s close to work!

I finally went there today after seeing it every time I’m back in town from college. It was a pretty relaxed place. The sushi was amazing! Very full large pieces of sushi, nothing pathetic. And the sauces were great. The guy was very nice who took my order and made the food! I would go back again! Thanks guys! :)

I have been to this establishment several times after curiosity won me over. The ingredients are very flavorful AND healthy. The rolls are rather large in size. The service is superior and the ability for me to create whatever roll I want or have one of their signature rolls is wonderful. The place is always clean. The staff is always very friendly and professional. I like that they make great suggestions for ingredients. The manager is genuinely committed to making the guest experience a great one. Did I mention the prices are ridiculously affordable right around $ 9 or so. I really must refer back to the ingredients they use because they are superior. They taste healthy… because they are healthy. Wasabi Roll & Go is an amazing place to stop on your way home from work, out for errands or as I’ve done several times, right before a movie up the street. I dine at Wasabi Roll & Go about once a week.

This place was one that I was just recently recommending to others to check out. I hadn’t been in a while, and I walked in tonight to be extremely disappointed. Before they had a full menu with very creative roll choices while also having the option of designing your own roll. Now they only have the option of creating your own where everything seems to be an added cost. It takes all the originality out of their DU inspired menu. The one thing I don’t want to have to do when ordering sushi is designing my own options when I could go with the experts. They also don’t include anything with your order and they no longer offer veggie gyoza which was a great option for those that don’t eat pork. I came in ordered one of their daily specials while wanting to add an ingredient. I was told that would be an extra $ 1 for jalapenos on a $ 6 roll although I could add a number of sauces, fish eggs, scallions or crunch topping for the included price. No salad was included on my plate which used to be included as well. I will not be recommending this restaurant as the sushi you can order at Whole Foods or even the King Soopers down the road on University have better options for the same price or cheaper, and without me creating my own roll. It’s very disappointing as I think they had it right the first time around.

I thought I would write another review because they’ve made some changes. First of all, I like that they *are* making changes because it means they’re trying to find what works. It’s a new place, and they aren’t giving up. Two, no more free salad with your roll. Three, it’s even more like Chipotle now because you walk through and decide what you want, whereas before you either picked a signature roll or filled out an order on paper. Four, honestly, it’s not the *best* sushi. However, it’s customizable, and I love the sushi bowls because I feel like it’s a fresher option than some other DU restaurants. Five, they are hiring delivery cyclists for DU campus. That’s cool. And lastly, they reward their repeat customers. Well. Make sure to grab a SpotOn card and register it.

The staff was extremely nice and kind. They were very helpful in letting my try a few samples to see what I wanted to order, and offered to me that I was able to get two proteins if I wanted. The total of the order was very inexpensive but there was just too much rice in the rolls. I feel like that’s probably intentional so one feels full after eating a «meal» of one sushi roll. My four star rating is mostly for the exceptional customer service(a smile goes a long way, eh?) — I hate to say it but I don’t think I like the food enough to return.

I’ve driven by Wasabi Roll & Go almost daily since it opened, but finally gave it a try around 8 last night. It was empty, but the guy working was really nice, and I have to say I like the concept. Like others have said, it’s a lot like Chipotle, but with sushi/Japanese food. The options are almost overwhelming if you make your own, but they also have many preconceived options. Just about everything was $ 8-$ 10, and make-your-own starts at $ 8. However, it’s only $ 2 extra to add a second protein, so while it doesn’t start out cheap, $ 10 isn’t a terrible deal for a lot of food. I did a make-your own bowl that had sushi rice, spicy tuna, creamy crab, avocado, cucumber, cilantro, jalapeño, carrots, a scallion garnish, and spicy ponzu sauce. Spicy tuna can be iffy at not-real sushi places, but this was quite good. I maybe could have done a better job picking ingredients because I can’t really picture it in roll form, but it made for a pretty tasty bowl, and a really healthy dinner at that. It’s street parking only, and I can imagine it might get crowded when DU classes get let out or at lunchtime. But really, you can’t beat a $ 10 healthy sushi meal that’s assembled right in front of you really quickly. Maybe you can have fresh, fast, and cheap all at once!

Practical, fast, and easy. They’re also very friendly. I asked about a simple avocado and cucumber roll and they happily did that for less than $ 8(with a salad) so it’s worth asking if you want a cheaper roll. The wasabi packets are REALLY spicy so beware, add a little at a time. To-go bags and accoutrements are all self-serve after you pay. We’ll be back.
