The honey dew boba is delicious. Try an Americano with 2 scoops of hazelnut powder that they use for boba and a little bit of soy milk.

Came to this coffee shop/deli for a quick lunch. Great food and friendly staff! Didn’t try any coffee, next time.

Awesome place — friendly staff, really good coffee and really good food(try the bibimbop — it’s a spicy Korean dish that I guarantee you’ll become addict to).

The staff was friendly. The atmosphere was relaxed. They have free water(which you will need a lot of in Colorado) and the coffee was pretty great. The prices could be a little lower but I guess that’s what you get near DU.

I’ve driven past this place so many times yet never really see a lot of people inside and barely any reviews on here… hmmm…would it be worth a visit? We stopped in here on a Sunday afternoon after having linner. They have a couple of tables outside and about eight tables inside and to my dismay, no comfy chairs to complete the cozy coffeehouse feel. It’s facing west so in the afternoon it gets really bright but they have blinds in consideration of your eyes. It’s very quiet and peaceful which was a nice change from more commercial places running amuck with loud and inconsiderate people. Typical coffeehouse fare on the menu and I went with my standard nonfat latte and my boo got the boba tea. You really don’t see boba too often at coffeehouses so I was impressed they offered that and he said it was awesome so score! The latte was yummy but nothing really stood out about it and I was a bit bummed they didn’t ask if we were having it for here or to go because something about a latte just tastes better when in a coffee mug or bowl as opposed to a to go cup(they have a number of mugs on the wall so I thought they would have offered). This is near my place so I will definitely be back one day when walking or biking by here and hope that they offer a little more pizazz the next time. PS – Free wifi!

Finally someone in Denver got Boba right!!! I probably shouldn’t be typing so loud! :) The girls who were working today made the experience just calm and inviting. I ordered a Thai Tea w/Boba and it was made so yummy! I will definitely come back and grab some food next time. I’m in the area fairly often so I will be back to try the other flavors. The place is small, quaint and possesses an uplifting energy. I left with a big smile that I can go to a place that makes boba perfectly squishy and just the right amount!

The Bean is new and I guess I should give them some time to work out the kinks, but this review is based solely on their frozen and blended coffee drinks. Most of the drinks are made from pre-mix and equivalent to the Big Train brand of instant coffee drinks you can buy at Costco. They have not perfected their mixing of the drinks so you often get way too much ice and not enough actual drink. The flavoring is off in that some drinks are really weak and others are really strong. Inconsistency rules the overall experience and that is just too bad. Hope they can get their act together. Their hot drinks rank a 3 — 4 stars.
