Literally the worst place to live. If you want your car towed, or to smell urine everyday as you walk outside of your building live here. Take it from me you don’t want to live here.

The Good: The apartments are nice and in a really great location. My apartment was a decent size and at a quite reasonable price. I paid the extra money for a reserved parking spot and never had any issues with maintaining my space.
The Bad: The management that I had to deal with during my short tenancy here was atrocious. I had several issues while I was living there that the people in the front office felt like it was beneath them to remedy. I was constantly met with horrible attitudes, sarcasm, and outright lies. Upon moving out the management actually gave my information to another apartment complex when they were trying to shop them for rates. Incredibly unprofessional. When I vacated the apartment complex after five months of tenancy they told me that I was responsible for paying to replace the carpet that had been there for over four years. When I went to dispute the claim I was told there was nothing that could be done, despite the fact that the two previous owners had had large dogs which ruined the carpet in the first place. I moved to a complex right down the street managed by another company and could not be happier to not live at 2101 Market.
EDIT: Since moving out of 2101 nearly seven months ago I have STILL had to deal with the incredibly unethical and sketchy business practices that the current management company employs to get even more money from its former residents. My name and credit information was given to a third company party who tried to claim that I somehow still owed them money (incorrect). The current management GAVE AWAY MY PERSONAL INFORMATION. I have contacted the better business bureau regarding this company and cannot wait to see what they have to say. They are INCREDIBLY UNETHICAL. DO NOT MAKE THE MISTAKE OF LIVING HERE.

I moved here in Feb. of 2015, 2101was very different place then. Definitely more rowdy and earlier comments were spot on about the puke, pee (human and non-​human), and noise issues. Since I moving in it became much quieter, and they have really stepped up their cleaning game. I get off work in the early morning and there is someone cleaning the common areas almost every day. Anyways, here are my pros and cons about the place:
Pros:
— Awesome location! I walk to work every day and now there is a king soopers near. My apartment became the go to spot because my friends that live in the burbs would crash here after partying downtown.
— Fantastic workout center and yoga studio, I have been touring numerous other places and it’s sad because 2101 has a better gym than almost all of them.
— My room faces south (towards the city) and I literally never turned my heat on in the winter, it saved me a ton. The appliances are nice too, only had one maintenance issue and they fixed it right away.
— They never messed with my rent or added fees, they gave me ample warning when it was time to put in my 60 days notice to move. They didn’t have to do that. That being said I move next month and will update how that goes, breakups can be the worst sometimes.
Cons:
— Parking must be great if you rent a reserved spot. For the rest of us plebs we have to find an open spot downstairs in the garage. Technically they don’t overbook the garage but when everybody brings in their friends for the weekend parking can get really tight. There were nights earlier this year that were literally no spots. Thankfully, they have remedied this situation by towing people without passes, this has helped, I hope they keep doing it.
— You pay for luxury and that’s why I am moving. They upped my base rent to over 1630 for 700 square feet 1 bedroom and I just can’t justify it anymore. I am looking to save 300 – 400 a month for comparable accommodations to the south. You definitely pay a premium downtown.
The bottom line is that 2101 is a great place to live and that’s why I give it 5 stars. Any of my major issues at first (clean common areas, loudness, parking) has been addressed. They never jerked me around rent wise, and I have been extremely satisfied during my stay here. As mentioned before, I will update on how the move out goes and hopefully there are no major issues or fees that I missed. Hope this helps.

My experience at Twenty one 01 has been really great so far. They have good amenities, security, and really friendly staff. I enjoy living here mostly because the location is very convenient.

Dirty common areas. Trash overflows on elevator landing levels. Office management is rude and does as little as possible to help. Wifi incredibly difficult get good signal no matter the carrier.

Don’t live here unless you want to wake up to puke outside your apartment, animal feces in the garage, mysterious charges to appear on your rent, your work orders never get filled, your car to be broken into inside their «secure» garage, and your car to be towed for no reason. Management never takes any responsibility and will lie to your face.
Also, in reply to 2101 management’s message below, don’t let their copy-​paste response fool you. I was down in the office yesterday to complain about my girlfriend’s car being broken into and improperly towed. 2101 took no responsibility for either incident and for all intents and purposes told us it was our fault. They are crooks.

Moved in late 2014 and watched the building and management undergo a BIG transformation. I have to say that I can see why renters posted bad reviews before but it seems that all of the issues prior to the remodel and with the previous staff have subsided. There have been major strides in customer service, they now offer resident events, and I even get a monthly newsletter that includes all of the updates for the property.
The new yoga studio is great as well as the new furniture in the outdoor spaces. They recently updated all of the carpet in the hallways and painted everything. I’ve personally had a great experience with all of the new staff and in particular Brandon. He’s always so nice and takes care of all of my needs.
I do feel that while the location is great, there are a few downfalls. I’ve noticed that residents tend to break things at the property easily and that there are a few issues with the doors in various locations. Also, the alley has been blocked on a few instances making it hard to get into the garage. That’s really it and I’ll take those ‘bad’ things if it means I’m getting a great deal at a beautiful property. I’m looking forward to seeing what else will be done to improve the community. Cheers!

I have lived at Twentyone 01 since March and have had nothing but great experiences since! My apartment was in amazing and clean condition when I moved in and the couple things I needed to get fixed were done immediately by the maintenance team. The office staff has always been really nice, Brandon is great and so helpful! I would definitely recommend living here!

Overall, the apartment is great. It is spacious, tons of light, etc. There are a few recurring issues and concerns, which is why I only voted my overall impression of 2101 Market a 3 out of 5 starts. First, parking. The first spot for each apt is $ 35 and it is a first come, first served spot in the garage. The second spot is $ 150 and therefore a designated spot. I can understand the prices, but have no clue how they came up with the spots in the garage. It seems completely random, and is incredibly inconvenient to find the first come, first served spots interspersed between the reserved spots. I would understand if all of the assigned spots were in one section and the open spots were on the lower levels or some sort of method to the madness, but it is all such chaos down there that it becomes incredibly frustrating if you don’t have an assigned spot. To boot, they just «cleaned» (I put it in quotes, because it actually seemed a lot dirtier in there after the cleaning than ever before) and repainted the spots in the garage and chose to keep the randomized spots the same.
Second, the hidden utility costs. When we signed the lease, we were told that we would have to pay for utilities separately, which made sense but on the first month’s bill we received a utilities bill for the entire building. That is, they charge the residents the cost of the utilities in the common areas and garage. It comes out to about $ 40 extra per month, which is not outrageous, but kind of is since we have to pay for our own utilities bill and rent on top of the building’s utility bill. The same goes with trash pick up. There is only one option: trash vallet. We were told when we moved in that the $ 20/​mo was covered in the rent, but again on the first month’s bill there was that extra $ 20 charge for trash. So on top of pretty high base rent, we end up having to pay for many miscellaneous charges that are usually covered by the landlord, which is kind of bogus in my opinion.
The amenities (I am mostly impressed with the gym) in the complex are great. But again, some of the management’s choices are questionable. They recently took out the theatre room and put in a yoga studio. Seems great in theory, but now there isn’t really anywhere to hang out with guests down in the lobby area, and most of the time I pass by the yoga studio, it is empty. The «café» area used to have a couch and comfy seating, but now it is all slightly uncomfortable chairs, no more couches. Everything looks nice and updated, but in actuality I am not sure how much benefit to the residents the upgrades actually made. The pool area is pretty small and enclosed by apartments which doesn’t offer much sunlight or privacy. Unfortunately, there is no rooftop like some of the neighboring complexes have.

I lived here for my entire lease and all I can say is WOW! Beautiful place to live with full gym and security In the lobby. Great location and fantastic management who were always here to help. Couldn’t recommend enough.

TwentyOne01 is a friendly, active, safe, beautiful apartment complex that I would highly recommend to anyone looking to move to the LoDo area. The community is very secure and feels safe; especially with the locked main entrance at night. The people living in the large complex were all very friendly and many would go out of their way to help others bring their groceries upstairs! The underground parking is wonderful and parking is not expensive. The gym is amazing! There are many different cardio machines to choose from and a full weight lifting center. It truly inspires you to want to work out!
I love that they offer a café, free WiFi and computers (with free printing!) and free coffee/​lattes/​etc. The leasing team are a group of wonderful people that are always available to help when needed, and it is always nice to stop by and say hello to the leasing staff as their positive energy truly rubs off… They are all so welcoming and kind which encourages the comfortable, homey atmosphere that you feel when you are here. The balcony views are stunning and the loft ceilings are great! Maintenance is always available and prompt. It is also wonderful to be in walking distance to many restaurants, bars, sport stadiums, and highways. It is a very active community and wonderful place to live. :-)

I have stayed at this apartment community many times and have had no complaints. The location is superb, the residents are very welcoming, and the amenities are great compared to other apartment communities around the area. While there may be some trash that is accumulated over night in the trash bins (as the pictures indicate), the staff always takes care of this as quick as possible. One of my favorite apartments in Denver!

TwentyOne01 is a beautiful apartment complex. I love the granite kitchen tops, open warehouse-​type ceiling, and urban feel. The leasing team has been very helpful and super nice –especially since Nelson and Joni are there. They are an awesome team. The gym is very open and not crowded — which I really liked. I really didn’t have any noise problems and it was pretty quiet. Parking is only $ 35 underground — unassigned parking (open) but I have never had a problem finding parking right near the elevator on the piggly-​wiggly side of the bldg. That is a great price compared to other downtown offerings I saw.
I’d highly recommend TwentyOne01 to anyone looking for an urban apartment, in the heart of LoDo. Especially if you are looking for a great leasing management team and super awesome maintenance staff. They’ve always been helpful and great to get to know. It’s a fun place to live central to lots of activities. Who knows… you could even fall in love there! :-)

If I could give this place a minus star I would. I have never been to Denver so when I came here looking for a place I found 2101 market and it seemed like the perfect place. The place had a gym, mail room, staff available, heated garage, and a nice room layout. little did I know it was all smoke and mirrors. This was by far the worst place I have ever lived in.
The gym equipment, like the exercise machines, are broken, and the TVs don’t work.
The staff is awful, it seems like they are playing adult career dress up and act unprofessional and snobby.
Within the heated garage my car got towed because their parking sticker fell off my window, but there are over ten other cars I see every day with no stickers that remain in the garage. I guess if you drive a nice car then you have a better chance of paying the tow. Oh, and the fact the lame front desk took my car info means nothing.
The rooms are nice, if by nice you mean screaming in the halls at all hours of the night, rough when you have to get up at 5:30am. Loud party’s, dog poop everywhere, vomit from the parties in the elevator and stairways, yesterday there was pee in the one elevator, nice. 3am sex sessions, where you can hear every detail, oh but they do have a random 5 tv room in the lobby where I’ve never seen a person in.
This place is over run by college kids. No one is nice staff or residents, it’s pretty much a dorm room on a campus, where the main attraction is The View House.
You would think it would be a nice higher end building but don’t be fooled, it’s really all smoke and mirrors and if you live here you’ll find out soon enough.

Great looking apartments ABSOLUTETLY awful business management. I was told that it was ok to paint on move in as long as I put it back to the original color on move out by the rental agent. Wrong! I had the «legal document I signed» thrown in my face by the rude business manager despite the verbal authority provided by their authorized rental agent. I felt gamed by the system. After we agreed to an amount and move out was complete the business manager calls with a different amount because she misplaced her copy of their estimate. Funny how I was supposed to be responsible and hang on to everything word in their contract yet they cannot manage to maintain proper files. Run Run Run away! Unless you are an attorney or you want to be mislead.

I’ve lived here since February and I love it. It’s a very clean building. Every once in a while it will get a little trashed on the weekends, but that’s more because of asshole residents and their friends who leave beer bottles and trash everywhere. It’s always cleaned up by Monday. The rent is about the same as other places downtown. Maintence is always done within 24 hours of me calling. The pool could be a little cleaner. I will definitely renew my lease.

I lived here two years and despite the thin façade of über coolness and great location don’t be bedazzled by the steps-​from-​Coors Field coolness. Here is the reality:
«Dog Friendly» means poo-​poo and more poo. Its everywhere. The spoiled 20 somethings that over run this building like cockroaches don’t pick up. Its even sometimes in the hall.
Puke: Every Friday and Saturday there are pools of puke that turn rancid by Monday
Construction: As of this writing they are building anew tower which means 4 am truck arrivals, 5am back up beeps and 7 am hammering. .
Horrible garage: My car got all scratched and beat up here. Speeding cars, broken overhead door, sometimes for months. Trash cans over flowing. I got a ticket in the garage? WTF? My first day living here someone tried to break into my car causing tons of expensive damage.
Light Bulbs: They go out CONSTANTLY thanks to some crazy light fixtures they have and they CHARGE YOU to replace them and they are WAY high up in the old loft portion of the building so you can’t change them yourself.
Turn over: You won’t like the staff here. Snotty, pretentiou, s arrogant. The only person I liked, Mario, was fired for not charging for their damn light bulbs! But not to worry, in the two years I was here they have had five different managers and complete staff turn overs. So if you don’t like one, a new manager will come along soon.
The stupid :“sports books”, a room with five lame TVs and an unworkable channel changer.
The «FREE COFFEE BAR» which is usually out of cups, and the free «peach tea» is rarely refilled.
The unbearably arrogant residents: This building is rampant with nose in the air, unfriendly babies who zip around in show off cars like Range Rovers, Hummers, Audis. They are too good to be friendly. Lots of hot people with sexier-​than-​thou attitudes.
The mini pool: The ridiculously small pool filled with drunk loud Biffs throwing bean bags. DO NOT GET AN APARTMENT OVERLOOKING THE POOL!
Random rent increases: They lure you in then smack you with a huge increase. Ask your neighbor with an identical unit and you’ll find one person gets a $ 100 raise, another gets a $ 350 raise in the same month.
Incredibly thin walls! I was awakened by my neighbor’s phone on vibrate! We could hear their fights (word for word), we could hear our neighbor: having sex with his girlfriend, cheating on his girlfriend, masturbating. UGH! AND LOUDLY. Lots of loud music at random times from all over. Thanks neighbor for loving LOUD techno music at 10am, 12pm, 2pm, 9pm, 12am, 2am, 3am, 4am.
The legend of the stuck window: We had a window stuck open for 1.5 years. They «couldn’t» fix it, because we were in the «old part of the building» and the only guy who could fix it was supposedly in Kansas City. Whatever. Cold drafts in the winter. UGH.

Management sucks (no resident manager), overpriced, faulty gym equipment, occasional drunk guys passed out in the lobby, beer cans and bottles litter common areas — sometimes all weekend, and then they jacked up rent by $ 200 to renew lease. Stay away, there’s better for cheaper near the ballpark.

Nice building, apartment units, and location. Can’t beat the location. However, the rent is RIDICULOUS. For that much someone should be wiping my a** everyday, doing my laundry, grocery shopping for me, etc. My god, they need to get over themselves here. The entire office staff is unfriendly, stuck up, and act like you’re bothering them every time you go in there. The front lobby and common areas (the gym, TV room, etc.) are kept very nice, but the elevator areas are always full of smelly trash, spilled liquids that never get cleaned up, etc. Dog friendly which is great, but I nearly had to call the police on my neighbor for harassment because my dogs barked occasionally. He was psycho and wouldn’t leave me alone. The pool is very small and there’s no frikin hot tub… really? The gym is small and you feel like you’re in a fish bowl, no privacy whatsoever. Also the vending machines are in the GYM of all places, not sure who planned that. The security staff is sketch and it’s someone different every week. It’s either a creepy young guy who follows you and is too «friendly» or some old guy who falls asleep at the front desk. The patio on the 2^nd floor is nice and overlooks Coors Field, but people let their dogs piss and poo everywhere out there and don’t clean it up. Also the garbage situation sucks– if you live at one end of the building, you have to walk ALL the way to the other side just to take your trash to the shoot which is almost always full. Then when your trash bag doesn’t fit and you leave it in the garbage room, they fine you for doing so. I’m so sorry, but if you can’t get your fat lazy maintenance guys to clear the trash dumpsters or whatever in a timely manner then you surely shouldn’t be charging ME a stupid fine. Please. Before moving out I had professional cleaners come and clean the place like no other, and guess what? I still got charged for some piece of crap stupid stuff like «the oven wasn’t clean». Seriously? This place is a step up from the Ball Park Lofts where I used to live, but if you ask me it’s just a higher priced frat house with lousy staff. Oh and things are always broken too– the computers in the lobby, the elevators, the vending machines, etc.

Absolutely Do not rent here ! Its dirty, expensive with horrible management. Parking is nightmare. They stole my road bicycle from parking garage. My bike was locked & secured. Manager didn’t care ! Worse management I ever seen. They do not have 24 hours security. Even those part time security guards are not helpful. They always tell you that they are new and don’t know anything. You always see garbage all over the place except entrance which they keep it clean most of time & it’s very deceptive. Every day something is out of order. Dirty, noisy elevators. They tow your car without telling you if you forget your tag. Coasted me $ 300 to get it back. Small pool. Ok gym. Dirty stairs. They increase your rent 15−20% every year. Before signing just talk to someone who lives there. Heather, «manager «is absolutely helpless & useless. Area is nice because close to lots of restaurants. But you can find much better place with same rent. I stayed here for 8 months & leaving now. Can’t stand it anymore. Good luck.
