This place has the SLOWEST service I’ve ever experienced. Without exaggeration, I just waited 8 minutes for one person to make 3 sandwiches. And the one other person«working» there was just sitting by the register. No one was waiting in line. And this happens all the time. They need to staff this place better. And train their staff. The food is good, salad bar is nice, but it always, without fail, takes entirely too long to order and to actually get your order if you want anything besides the salad bar. It’s such a shame.

They never open their salad bar on time and they WATERDOWN their dressing when it gets low. Their leafy greens are seldom fresh.

I am downtown quite often and have visited this shop several times when milling around for work. Unfortunately, although convenient, it is nothing at all special. The salad bar is lackluster and very often runs out of salad ingredients without the staff noticing at all… very often being every single time I have been here. The sandwiches are over-priced, sparse on contents, and nothing you wouldn’t make yourself at home on a random Saturday afternoon. The staff is simply there, as if only to keep people from running off with things, so they collect money and toast the bread for your sandwich. To summarize, this shop simply doesn’t try to be a good place for lunch. It’s just there. They likely have a decent size captive customer base with the offices in the same building. Not recommended at all.

Just came upon the Sandwich Board a few weeks ago. The roast beef sandwich was great. Today the cheesesteak left a lot to be desired. Was very bland.

Good breakfast and lunch spot. Great location in the middle of downtown(in the Wells Fargo Atrium). Affordable stuff that tastes good.

I’ve only been here for breakfast but LAWDY! The biscuits! And moreover, the service! Top-notch. For reals. This spot is across from the building where I work and, for less than three bucks(dollars, not male deer), you can get an egg with noticeably fresh cheese and a fluffy, flaky biscuit that will make you forget all about your shameful affinity for the McDonald’s version. My coworkers rave about the two-for-five(bucks/dollars) chorizo burritos on Fridays. Luigi, who I assume is the owner, is a peach, too. Oh, and they aren’t open on weekends.

All sandwich boards are not created equal. Sure the menus are all the same, but I have been to ones that are inedible and others, like this one, that are actually pretty darn good. The staff is always friendly, the salad bar looks fresh, the bread is always squishy yummy fresh and the food is just well put together and good! Its a good one :)

Soup. Say what? Soup. Yes. Soup. I like soup. Who doesn’t like soup? Weirdos, that’s who. You wouldn’t think a place called The Sandwich board would have bomb soup but it does! Me like the potato cheese soup the best. Also, delicious is the chicken noodle… I think I’ll go get me some now! As far as sandwiches go there are some decent selections here. I go for the BLT or the Turkey Club, Turkey Swiss, anything turkey is solid. Sandwiches are made to order and they are quick about it too! Lots of bread and topping options = happy me. Around $ 5 to $ 7 per Sandwich isn’t bad, especially cuz they are pretty good size. I love watching the lunch crowd come in and all the, shall we say«larger,» customers head directly for the salad bar. Sneeze guard protected, the salad options are pretty standard. You load up your to-go tray and weigh it at the register… so price can vary depending on what you pile on. Really people, you aren’t doing yourself a healthy favor if you have a bunch of veggies and then drown your lunch in ranch dressing. Good taste, yes but you aren’t fooling anyone. Would you like a diet coke to go with that? Also available are the typical fountain drinks; bottled juices and sodas are in the cooler as you walk in. There is plenty of sitting space at a table or a counter top. They even have a few outdoor tables for the summer months. Staff here is consistently polite and efficient. For all the downtown lunch folks I suggest you give this place a go!

Fast, yummy and only an elevator ride away. Their French Dip is perfect on a cold day like today. They are also suprisingly well-priced considering they are in a corporate office building. Staff are always friendly and quick. I don’t think I need to say anymore.
